  1. Well, it’s over. Going to bed now. I keed, I keed. LOL Big defensive stand coming up by the Broncs!
  2. So I’m at home watching on Prime, but it sucks because the DVR does not work while I’m watching this….can’t run the video back on the DVR if I want to rewatch a play….can’t record it either! I assume that the Bills are going to have one of these TNF games on PrimeTV? Chiefs in uniforms similar to what the Bills will wear on Sunday, same except for the helmet color. GO BRONCOS!!!
  3. Uh huh, right. Had some time to waste, so I just went through only the first FOUR pages of last week’s thread “Predict the Score for the Bills/Jags Game” It was 70 (Seventy people) taking the Bills and only 4 picking the Jags. Make of that what you will… Now, the Bills definitely *should* win this game….but if they don’t, we might as well start enjoying our Sunday and Monday and Thursday nights, and 4-7pm time slots on Sundays doing something else. LOL
  4. Thanks for shedding light on the real world possibilities of this situation. I have questions though, looking at it a different way. Let’s say they really are “in love”, and sparks flew when they first met, and they quickly deduced that they were each other’s soul mate. What SHOULD they have done.
  5. We vacation only in the US, and yes, a seasoned, “professional” thief can probably get into a hotel safe quickly. Your middle paragraph above reinforces what someone said earlier in this thread, and that is that it was very likely an inside job. How would anybody even know which room was his, unless they followed him up. Finally, we mainly use the safe for IPads/tablets and medications, or maybe a firearm/knife if we’re going to a show/event which disallows them. Using the safe is better that just hiding that stuff under the pillows or deep inside your suitcase, right? Edit to add: I sometimes leave the valuables in the safe inside my center console in my truck too.
  6. Are either of them currently married? If so, I’d imagine that’s the issue…the optics of “immoral” behavior, although in today’s world, not even sure anyone cares. If they’re not married, I see nothing wrong here, at all. It’s not like he could promote her to a higher position, because to my understanding of the organizational lines, there is nowhere to go up for her, unless it’s HIS job, so obviously if he got fired or quit, he couldn’t promote her.
  7. I assume he was staying in a “nice”, upper end hotel over there. Do they not have room safes in those hotels? That’s one thing I always ensure for our rooms when we go on vacation. Sadly, you just about can’t trust anyone.
  8. I agree, and honestly, they’ve already shown us twice this year that they can easily fall in to the “same old Bills” category, so now with the injuries added in, I am going to be very surprised if they even make it past one win in the playoffs. We shall see though. As we all know, “anything is possible.” LOL
  9. I mean with Dorsey calling the plays, he can only do so much. It's just mind boggling how Dorsey didn’t adjust his play calling vs the Jags. Doesn't Dorsey have a MS Surface up in the box, like they players do on the sideline, where he could have been reviewing the failed plays during the game, and then make adjustments? He had plenty of time during the game, as the Jags had the ball for most of the game. Then there's always the 15 minutes at halftime too.
  10. This is what we're all hoping for, but then again, they are the Buffalo Bills, so anything is possible. 🙁
  11. What about the Chiefs? Fourth best.
  12. Yep. I was saying this the very first time that they had a London game so early in the day. Should definitely be a 6 or 7pm local time start.
  13. Like they did vs the Jets (especially after Rodgers was knocked out, it should have been easy) and vs the Jags? These are the Buffalo Bills were talking about here....😉
  14. They’re definitely gonna miss him. He’s faster than Tyreek!
  15. Dick Butkus is laughing and rolling in his grave at this nonsense.
  16. McD Lovers won’t want to hear this, but of course, this comes down squarely on bad coaching and worthless practices. What are they doing at practices, btw?
  17. I regularly watch the RZ Channel, and my biggest gripe is when they show any plays from dumpster fire games! LOL For the most part though, I think they do a terrific job.
  18. Saw this in another thread right here on TBD. "DaQuan left the game after the 4th play. Milano left the game after the 11th play. Rousseau never played. Tre White never played. Benford never played. That’s FIVE starters out. Yet the defense still forced 2 turnovers and 5 punts." Yes, the "jet-lagged" defense was obviously "horrendous." 🙄
  19. I've been watching NFL games for a long time, and of course today I watch the games on a big screen 4k HD TV.....My opinion is that he didn’t get ANY feet down on that catch. He was going UP when he made the catch, and when he came down, no foot touched inbounds. Honestly, I was flabbergasted when they called that a catch. Yes, Vikings fans are dealing with the reality this morning of how the NFL refs are nowhere consistent, and nowhere near fair for all teams.
  20. Is Booger still working in the booth, announcing games? Collinsworth is terrible, IMO.
  21. We have wishful thinking that Pegula will hire a coach who can actually go to a SB and win it? Is Bill Cowher available? LOL
  22. Did the Bills defense take a different flight over the pond than the offense? Because even with the injuries, the defense played pretty well. The "jet lag" excuse is weak, VERY WEAK.
  23. Adding to your ideas. - Defensive holding should not be 5 yards and an automatic 1st down….s/b just like offensive holding, 10 yard penalty and no automatic 1st down. How many times have we seen a team facing 3rd down and forever, then a defensive holding is called and bam, first down. - Pass Interference s/b like college….a 15 yard (or maybe even 10 yard) penalty, and no automatic 1st down. It is never a guarantee that a player is going to catch a ball, even if he is wide open. - Both offensive and defensive holding definitions and real world applications need to be studied & revised, and refs need to be CONSTANTLY schooled on how to call those penalties fairly. We all know that holding occurs on every play, but it’s only selectively called. As discussed after that game, the trip happened at the 27, so the PF puts them back at the 42. If the Bills make a stand there, the FG would not be a “gimme” at all. Plus, the fact that it was so blatant, and so out in the open, with many eyes on the runner, and NOT called, just points to incompetence by those refs. It should have been called 100%, even if it happened at the 5 yard line.
  24. I held off on responding to this post, but you know what, I’m in the exact same place as the OP. After being a fan for 50+ years, a Bills unexpected/disappointing loss still affects me way more than it should. I had trouble getting to sleep last night, and as I was tossing and turning, I kept rewatching the game in my head, imagining ways they should have done it differently. It totally sucks, but not sure I’ll ever change. I guess when they win a SB, it’ll be like nirvana. Hope that comes before I meet my maker; time is getting tight.
  25. I didn’t see/hear any of the post game pressers, but I'm wondering if any of the players or coaches used jetlag as an excuse. Anybody know if they did?
