Not so sure if it's "mental" or just inferior coaching, such as when he repeatedly doesn’t recognize a blitz, and doesn't get rid of the ball quickly to the uncovered receiver. OTOH, as people have said in here all week, the latter is football basics 101, and HS QBs know that you should do that, so it's mind boggling that JA17 doesn't know it.

Have thought this same thing since last year. I also wonder what they are doing in practice all week?

OTOH, the box score shows that the Eagles had ZERO penalties last night. Since there's offensive holding on virtually every play, I don’t even know how that's possible. Maybe they're just really well disciplined, and they don't commit any fouls. 🤔😂

OK, I am the first person to say NFL officiating Sucks, and they often get it wrong, but......Sorry, but YOU are incorrect on this one. I stated this more than once in the post game thread, but I'll post it one last time. I have a DVR and a 4k HD TV, and after the game I went back and watched it in slow motion, and it is very, very close. When the ball leaves Jones' hand, he *may* have been SLIGHTLY past the one yard limit, but the video clearly shows that he was definitely not 5 yards downfield. My biggest question was as to how they picked up the flag with no video review to aid that decision. Only thing I can figure is that the officials back in NY, at NFL HQs reviewed the play and then had the capability to contact the refs on the field, and they told them it was too close to call. I didn’t think that was allowed on a call such as this, but it's the only thing that makes sense. When you watch the play at regular speed, it's VERY hard to determine exactly where he was when the ball left Jones' hand.

C'mon man, give credit where credit is due. It was a PERFECT pass. He knows the speed of Hill better than anyone. Meanwhile our guy had so many errant throws today it was sickening.

Went to my DVR after the game and watched it. It was very, very close. Not sure how they picked up a flag though without stopping for an actual video review. Only thing I figure is that the refs at NFL HQ in NY reviewed it, then called down to the crew on the field and told them it was too close to call....but is that even allowed to happen? I know in some previous games, announcers have alluded to the fact that "the NFL guys in NY looked at it" when the situation was the same...no stoppage in play was done for the refs on the field to go look at it. Oh well, SCREWED AGAIN! LOL

Just DVRd the play for the long gainer by the Pats where they threw the flag for Ineligible Receiver Downfield…it was really, really close, but not sure how they could pick up the flag unless somebody in the NY NFL office reviewed it, and then radioed down and told them to waive it off. Obviously though, once again, the Bills offense sucked, and today, the D pretty much did too.

When the Pats were scoring the winning TD, Diggs was on the sideline eating Orville Redenbacher Movie Theatre Butter popcorn on the sidelines.

How ironic though that Jones is gonna win this game while so many people thought of him as a worthless QB. Meanwhile today, Allen…..

But I’ve been reading in here for months that McClappy is a defensive genius. 🙄

For the 2nd time today in GD threads, I will say that the Bills D is terrible.
