  1. They are not who we thought they were (from when the season started). At this point, just making the playoffs this year will be a surprise.
  2. 38 yards....and it's GOOD!!!
  3. Very Billsy by the Browns there!
  4. Terrible play call by Texans there.
  5. Why does it seem like virtually every other team's receivers are able to get so open, so often? It can't only be because of bad schemes by Dorsey. There's a lot of empty green space on a field, on every play.
  6. LMAO What I said is absolutely true though, so your definition of trolling is laughable and absurd. There have been some occasions (more than one) this year when our receivers have gotten behind the defense, and JA has failed to hit them for a TD. That is undeniable, and anybody who has watched every Bills game this year knows it.
  7. C’mon Homer, that pass was a “dime” to a guy on the run, DEEP downfield. You haven’t seen anything like that from JA all year long.
  8. Jags getting destroyed today…
  9. Re Bengals game: so QBs can make accurate, deep throws downfield while on the run? Who knew? 😂
  10. So IOW, our coaches suck. Gee, where have I heard that before? 🤔😂
  11. Guess Beane did a good job by getting rid of Singletary. 🙄
  12. Yes, it has been generally acknowledged FOREVER that when players do unnecessary, “dumb” fouls, it is a reflection of bad coaching….often referred to as a “poorly disciplined” team. If you’ve been a fan of pro sports for any length of time, I’m certain that you’ve heard the latter phrases articulated by pundits and observers (in all sports, not just football). The parent/child example you cite actually supports my view, as it has been shown time and again, in many studies & surveys, that children who are brought up with little or no discipline imposed upon them by their parents (or their single parent) are more likely to end up in trouble/jail vs kids that had two parents who did impose rules AND enforce them. Finally, being accused of being a troll just because I have an unpopular opinion is just laughable and nonsensical. I would agree that I’m not a prolific poster like many in here are, but I don’t “only pop up after a Bills’ loss.” However, there are MANY real trolls in here who display the LAMP technique often. You see the latter folks front & center after a Bills’ game, when they feel compelled to start their own post game thread, even though there is an established post game thread for everyone’s use. But their LAMP need is too strong, I guess.
  13. Re the taunting by JA: Just another example of a poorly coached team.
  14. I spent 9 years in the USAF on active duty, and 18 in the reserves. I think I’ve told this story in here before, but I’ll tell it again here. For the Bills SB vs the Redskins, I was stationed in Japan at Yokota Air Base. However, on SB Sunday I was off the base on an exercise with the Japanese Air Forces. With the time difference, the SB over there was on Monday morning. We were done with our exercise early Monday morning, and I left the exercise site because I wanted to be back at my base duplex to watch the game with my wife. As I got close to my duplex, a straight line to it would save me some time on my walk from the train station to my home. So I actually climbed over the perimeter fence to get on to the base, but the SPs caught me! I was like “I live in here! I’m just going home to watch the SB!” They hauled my butt down to the cop station and one of my superiors had to come and “bail me out” (sign a release to set me free…LOL). And then I had to endure that depressing loss by the Bills. I will always believe that early on in that game, the Skins DBs were early to hit our receivers many times, yet no PI calls were made on them….the Bills were screwed by the refs once again. 🤪
  15. After thinking about this thread for a day, and stepping back and looking at the big picture, the OP is telling us (when he details all the “bad” things) that highly paid professional football players….the best of the best in the world at this game, where only a minute number of men ever even get to that level….are NOT DOING THEIR JOBS in an efficient manner. Why is that? If I repeatedly don’t do my job efficiently, I surely will get fired. Yesterday I surmised that maybe some of the key players are old, slow, or dumb. Obviously age catches up with everyone, so that’s definitely part of it. As far as being “dumb”….do they not know what they are SUPPOSED TO DO out on the field? Is it a failure of coaching? Maybe on defense, due to changing schemes and unseen plays, the defenders really don’t know what to do (in real time), and even if they are “coached up”, they don’t recognize what’s happening in real time. But on offense, I would think every player knows exactly what he’s supposed to do, every play. So if they know what they’re supposed to do, but they aren’t doing it, the question remains…WHY? It ain’t rocket science out there. Some of the stuff…like offensive linemen not picking up all rushers when they have the advantage of 5 linemen vs 4 rushers is just mind boggling. Note: Obviously, bad throws and/or bad receiver choice decisions by JA, or dropped balls by receivers are not applicable to what I’m saying above.
  16. Thanks for diving deep in to the Bills problems. For those who maybe are a bit confused about the OP’s post here, I’ll simplify it: Many players on the Bills roster are either old, slow, or dumb, or some combination of all three, thus their execution very often is poor. 😉
  17. This guy does an excellent job detailing JA’s weaknesses. JA may not be as good as we think he is. I guess all we can do is see if he improves on those weaknesses in the rest of the games this year. Edit to add: Getting a kick at all of the posters who basically are saying that Josh is the second coming of Tom Brady, and he can do no wrong. I’m not totally surprised though, as has been noted before, there are tons of homer Bills fans with red & blue binders on. The bottom line is that the tape doesn’t lie, but stats often do lie because there’s more to the story. Anybody who thinks that he hasn’t regressed since 2021 is just in denial, or maybe blind.
  18. One thing I saw after watching this is that the Bengals were not covering Cook...at all...coming out of the backfield after he made his chip blocks. I guess they would have adjusted, but JA really should have been throwing to him early on, like on the INT play, no one was even close to Cook.
  19. That's a bold strategy, Cotton, and I like it! But I seriously doubt that the brain trust at OBD has the cajones (or smarts...LOL) to do it.
  20. $18 mil per year is way too much….but….I would take him over McClappy in a NY minute. 😉
  21. I agree that McD needs to go. But one big problem is that a lot of the talking head "experts" out there (even former coaches) think that he's doing a great job, and unfortunately, I think Pegula listens to those "experts" more than he should.
  22. Sunday night: Jets at Raiders! 😂
  23. I brought this up in a different thread a couple days ago. IMHO, the Bills have a lot of guys who are just going through the motions to collect a paycheck. Definitely seems like most of them are not “going all out.”
