How do you know that MA hasn’t been working on that part of his game? I mean, he’s had a lot of free time, so I would assume that he’s not just sitting on the couch watching MeTV. And of course you can’t deny that he has one of the strongest legs in recent years. You did see that 80 yarder during the preseason, right?

Why are so many NFL defenders bad tacklers? That is their NUMBER ONE job. What do these teams do in practice sessions? 🤔

I think that very few people really know how much work JA is putting in off the field. But his inability to make the correct pre-snap read of the defense, and/or his inability to find the open receiver, and/or his inability to make the proper moves in the pocket (getting happy feet in the pocket when there’s no need to), all make one wonder if he's just lazy, or maybe something else is at play. In his 6th year, one would think he'd have the aforementioned things mastered.

No way; stop kidding yourself. The Bengals would have just put up more points. Their receivers were running WIDE OPEN all night, and Burrow was like a surgeon out there when there was some close coverage. He's smart too, as I believe he torched the Bills D every single time they blitzed.

Me too, although since they had 10 days to prepare, I was hoping it might play out differently. I seriously think a lot of players on that team just don't care, and are just going through the motions to get paid.

As someone who went to school in Dayton, and years later lived just north of Cincy (Middletown) for a while, and now live in the deep southeast, in no way, shape, or form can Cincinnati be identified as a southern city. LOL I will say that native Ohioans are “different“ though, and that’s not a compliment. 😉
