I feel sorry for Rogers. Year after year they've failed to give him a stable of WRs....like Mcnabb. On another note, if he had a couple more stones, there's plenty of holes in front of him to scramble a bit.

I think the GB defense is under rated. They could end up giving Tua trouble. GB 24-20

I stand guilty of No. 49 ilk as well as pumping for a younger, more aggressive D.C., but we're 11-3, so for now I'll shut the Hell up. edit: Until or unless, Fields carries T.J. on his back or Tremaine is cleaning up tackles 10 yds downfield. I hope Josh doesn't have to do this alone, but if so...12-3. edit again: Cause I've been out of power and it's brutal,( now it's back and I've indulged....errr, chilled out), I believe they really have to tune up a 4-3 so they can use it when they need to. Play Klein and rotate blitzing LBs. You not only stop the run, (they don't know where it's coming from), create TFLs, sacks and most importantly, contain the QB. This can't be done with rush fo or drop everyone into coverage. It's the Bears, stomp the line and give Fields the Mike White treatment. Dismissed!

You almost had me at skip right on past. But I agree with moving Dion inside. we need inside help as well, if not more a center. Morse, I don't think is really gonna last much longer. Picking late I'm guessing Voorhees or Torrence, but nobody knows what McBeane will do with free agents.....which makes it anyone's guess, so skip right on past.

Chad Reuter had a good write up on NFL.com where he took the top 20 Senior Bowl prospects with short Bios and NFL comparisons. Plenty of Oline prospects to ponder. I wouldn't be surprised with Torrence and Voorhees from USC. Maybe we can bring Teller back with a late rounder since Browns need picks, maybe Nelson? I'm sure Beane knows he needs to build this line.

Playing 4-3 allows for more success at....TFLs, stopping the run vs. depending on tackling on the 2nd level against guards and tackles...and depending on T.J. to handle bigger backs with a head of steam, which has hurt us. It also allows a spy on mobile QBs and the ability to disguise rotating LB blitzes. Giving up 200 yds. a game is gonna bite us in the ass, because in the playoffs it's one and done. Klein made the game saving stop in Detroit and like Milano is a good blitzer. On another note I don't understand not even trying to play press and knocking the timing out of receivers within the five yds. it's allowed. Playing 10 yds. deep in zone and expecting to cover a Hill or Waddle etc. is mind boggling since press will help the front four and help generate hurried or errant throws. I get the merits of Nickel and zone, but not being able to do both does not make an elite Defense. All that being said, we need new aggressive blood on D.

I don't know why Alec Anderson isn't getting a practice look with the ones.

And if we don't start playing D like we did against the Jets, we're done. Why we can't be an attacking defense is beyond me. We need a new DC with an aggressive attitude. It's absolutely aggravating. We don't have the talent to play press against Hill and Waddle?....or have the ability to do that when need be? Why can't we send blitzes when we're stuffing the run game on passing downs? We need some new blood on the Defensive staff. Josh Allen can't be like P.Manning with no Defense. We're gonna get screwed with this 1990 Defensive approach.

....And the Bucs could be dangerous in the NFC playoffs. The Boys are beatable, SF is running on a rookie and Philly ain't all that, who knows. Bucs and Bills SB?

Then hopefully we blitz more and not have to have Josh carry this team.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him back, not sure what his contract is. Too bad the early money threw a wrench into his life.

It could be possible for Brady to make a run through the playoffs. We could end up in the SB with the Bucs.....and go Arthur Moats on Brady and end that story once and for all.

Well call me what you will but I'm rooting for Brady to win today. Not sure if that's wise, but I'd rather see Cincy playing possibly K.C. as a WC.

I don't understand why we can't play Defense like we did against the Jets every single week. Then i wouldn't be concerned about any other team. It really pisses me off that we are so stubborn with the lack off aggression. We coulda killed Tua last night especially since we were shutting down the run. With any other QB than Allen we lose last night and it's not even debatable. Cincy's gonna screw our seeding if we stubbornly play rush four and soft zone. I hope Frazier gets a gig next year.

I couldn't get the game so I listened to Murph and Eric, and as always, they were outstanding. I wish ( on regular local TV broadcasts), that they were the guys. I also was unable to see with my own eyes, our defense revert back to Frazier mode so I didn't get as pissed as usual. Must have been fate not to be able to watch it. Anywho a dub is a dub. And every bit of their info will belong to the CCP.

I'm anxious/worried about who our backup guards are.

I remember listening to a radio show, may have been Bob Matthews, but this woman said...'' Tell Art Modell to go to Hell and take Bill Bellyache with him....when the Browns moved to Baltimore. I still get a chuckle thinking about that.

I was kind of thinking if we stood pat last year, taking Zion Johnson and then McCreary, (sp?) but I trust Beane to tackle building the line this next off season.
