  1. Yeah but were they able to at least kick the tires?
  2. Pretty sure organizations can't consider their employees property anymore.
  3. Bringing back Beasley would be pretty interesting if he would go for a deal that actually makes sense. I wanted to see them get OBJ on a one year deal just for the playoffs but it seems unlikely he is going to settle for just short term. Plus, without doing workouts with the teams he's visiting, he probably isn't going to be ready to do much even in playoff time this year. A healthy and well rested Beasley added to the room going into the playoffs this year would be a lot different than him trying to gut out injuries going into the playoffs like he did the last two years. His age isn't going to let him have the full year high production numbers like he did a few years ago, but just a few weeks of contribution if he gives it his all like he has before can be a difference maker. Not to mention he's always had good chemistry with Josh and wouldn't have to learn everything they are running from scratch like the other options.
  4. Hopefully he didn’t get kicked off the plane coming in for his visit.
  5. At least 3 feet in Hamburg/Lakeview now and it doesn't look like it is letting up anytime soon. Got enough over night that most of my neighbors with medium to large snow blowers are really struggling to make progress. Needed to plow a path through the grass to clear out the furnace vent.
  6. It’s starting to shape up to what they said it could be. I’m in Hamburg. Thought this one might hit the north towns harder (and maybe it is) but the last 5 hours we’ve been getting hammered in the south towns.
  7. I heard Bean just put in a giant to go order at Duffs. They must be gearing up to get out of town.
  8. For sure and if it is just a typical Buffalo winter storm they will keep up. If it ends up turning into a historic November 2014 type storm, that's when they can't keep up, get buried, and need a few days to dig out.
  9. It could be perfect weather at game time Sunday afternoon. The issue is if 4+ feet gets dumped on the area Thursday - Saturday, not enough time to clear the stadium out so it is useable and the roads clear so players can even get there.
  10. With all the Moss bashing and Moss trade jokes aside, I think he will go on to have an okay NFL career. Nothing amazing but more then us fans thinks he’s capable of. He was never going to get an opportunity here on a pass heavy offense. He seems to need consistent running to get into rhythm, so the splitting with Singletary wasn’t going to work. Singletary is similar in that way too so neither of them could get any traction trying to be 1a and 1b. He didn’t offer any unique skills either with being too similar to Singletary. Good luck to him.
  11. If there ever was a time and a place to go conservative, it doesn’t get any better than that scenario.
  12. I don't think so but I heard Vontae Davis is.
  13. I called it yesterday. Moss and a 5th was just too crazy. Much more interest in Moss and a 6th out there.
  14. Maybe they would have better luck with Moss and a 6th.
  15. If Bean can't package Moss and a 5th, then it's an epic fail.
  16. I’ve like Rodgers for most of his career. He’s been in the spotlight more recently for some more controversial statements but I’ve never paid much attention to any of that stuff. But I will say, in his more recent press conferences, he looks more guilty of stealing catalytic converters from parked cars than reading complexed defenses.
  17. Should be perfect football weather Sunday night. Red hot Bills offense facing off the Packers at home. We have almost everyone healthy coming off the bye. Packers have been in a big slump and have a lot of injuries. A lot are predicting a Bills blow out but don’t think the Packers will just roll over and die without a good fight. I expect something like a 31-17 Bills win but won’t open up until we get to the 4th quarter.
  18. I don’t know what goes on with fans in other divisions but Bills fans never root for other divisional rivalries to have any success, especially not Bills fans rooting for Patriots in the super bowl against anyone. The Packers are actually a team that Bills fans are pretty neutral on or even root for in a lot of cases. Easy to root for NFC teams when they are not direct rivals.
  19. We almost always are rooting for any team in our division to lose, especially if they are playing an NFC team. We also care a lot less about the outcome of a Jets game compared to the Patriots. A lot of people are hoping the Jets beat the Patriots this week just because we hate them so much even though from a standings perspective that’s not a good thing.
  20. Not even close. Bills fans root against the Patriots even when a Patriots win would be more beneficial to us just out of pure despise.
  21. I bet Bean can get it done for a 1st and Moss.
  22. Throw in a bucket of Duffs wings to sweeten the deal.
  23. I remember that game well. I had seasons at the time and had for years. My then girlfriend, now wife wanted to come with me to a few games that season after we started dating a few weeks into the season. We bought tickets on stub hub for practically nothing for this one so we could sit together and I just gave my season seat to a friend in the group I would normally sit with. Its funny to think how far we have come since then with ticket demand and prices in just a few years.
