  1. I don't love this matchup. But then again, I never love any playoff matchup. With the exception of last year, Pittsburgh has generally given our offense trouble. But then again, our offense also gives our offense trouble. TJ Watt being out is huge, though. The Steelers offense has actually looked pretty good since Mason Rudolph took over. He's pushing the ball down the field. Pickens and Johnson are big play threats. And we've made backup QBs look good this year. Being favored by 10 points also makes me think this one will be close.
  2. Thought I’d be able to relax after the titans win but nope, I want this one bad.
  3. And we didn't even have to pay Hopkins for his help!
  4. I was actually watching highlights of that game today. I couldn’t believe we were up 17-0 in that game and let them come back to take the lead. I used to play little league baseball with this super athletic kid. He was an outfielder and could generally get to any fly ball with ease. However, instead of making routine plays, he would purposefully slow down so he had to make a more spectacular catch. I think that kid grew up to be the Buffalo Bills.
  5. This team seems to play to the level of their competition, so I suppose it's a good thing that the competition is better in the playoffs.
  6. Shakir seems to excel in the slot. Ideally, we're able to draft a WR in the first couple of rounds that can start from day 1 and Shakir stays in that #3 role.
  7. Makes sense but they need to make the playoffs first. Also you don’t want to just start him after a 3 month layoff. He needs time to shake off the rust. You don’t want him doing this in wildcard weekend. Was mostly just a joke about people around here talking about how great he was in the playoffs last year.
  8. Been saving him just for the playoffs.
  9. You can definitely have one of these two things for a very reasonable price
  10. He was for one play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that's how I'll choose to remember him.
  11. This reminded me of the Bills vs. Chiefs game from 2020. Everyone was expecting this big shootout between Allen and Mahomes, but the Chiefs just came out and ran it all day long and the Bills were absolutely unprepared for it. It's a lot more fun being on this end of a game like that.
  12. I thought the WR screens were actually working pretty well in the first half against KC... am I remembering this wrong? I thought they were picking up 4-7 yards per play early in the game before KC adjusted.
  13. I hope Amazon continues to get more games. It's the best football-watching experience now in my opinon. The pre and post-game analysts are far-better than any other network and the ability to pause the game and pick up where I left off is unrivaled (especially as the father of a 9-month-old).
  14. Ha. Bears fans. They're who we used to be 10 years ago.
  15. Going to need a lot of things to fall our way for 10 wins to be enough. All these AFC games are so hard to predict at this point. You would think the Browns, Steelers, and Bengals would lose more with their QB situations… but they keep winning.
  16. Do you guys not remember Diggs' stat lines against the Chiefs in the 2020 AFC Championship and 2021 Divisional Round?
  17. Is this an Andy Isabella thread?
  18. I liked those Barcelona Dragons uniforms when I was a kid. That was about all I remember of the NFL Europe
  19. The Bills should just pick up a new kicker on the waiver wire every week like I do in my fantasy leagues. I've won 4 championships, so I know it works.
  20. When Daboll left and reports came out that said Josh Allen would be involved in the OC decision, it was assumed that Josh wanted Dorsey to be promoted OC. But perhaps it wasn't something that Josh was advocating for, but rather, something he just went along with. I don't know.
  21. Only logical explanation is that Josh Allen made a deal with the devil to become the most physically gifted QB of all time with the fine print reading that no matter what Josh Allen did, it would never be enough — for eternity, or something.
  22. I don't want McDermott back next year... But man, in these "game-of-the-year" type games that the Bills always lose, it seems like — more times than not — teams are making the most miraculous, improbable, hyper-low percentage plays against the Bills when the game is on the line. We're talking about a completed hail mary, Justin Jefferson's improbable catch, a 59-yard field goal in a driving rain. Sometimes it just feels like divine intervention is not in our favor. McDermott's a religious guy... is he not religioning right?
