  1. What's great about Rousseau is that he's played effectively as a DT, so he should be able to rotate inside and outside. Hell, he could probably play LB in a pinch, who knows. Guy is a freak.
  2. Idk, I appreciate Big Spence doing this but that's a very large and heavy man. Thankfully, his form was perfect but this very easily could have gone wrong. I'd rather not see this become a trend. On a different note, I'm hoping that Brown can adequately play guard. My dream scenario for this season is that he takes over as starter from whoever is doing worse between Ford and Mongo. I guess super dream is that him and Doyle can supplant both.
  3. I don't think it's very telling. Beane was about to trade down but viewed Basham as a massive value pick that he couldn't pass up.
  4. Oh a repeat of TB vs. KC in the SB! A repeat of BAL and KC for the Bills! A repeat of both championship games, actually! Man, how lazy. Also, these are dumb and pointless.
  5. I have a bad feeling, with their "good" draft + Fields + his wife, Ertz might actually want to go to da Bears.
  6. He was slow because he was heavier in college. He lost weight and that's why he's faster. I swear no one ever factors this in to why he suddenly got better near the end of the season.
  7. There were sooooo many teams in a worse spot. How do we know Beane didn't try to get guys like Lawson? There are 31 other teams in the league who are also trying to sign those players.
  8. While your answer is cute, I don't think it's the actual reason. From everything I've seen, Sherman seems like a pretty good dude, and he's probably one of the smartest corners ever.
  9. Sure. I was informed that I am not allowed to converse with him until I get smarter, anyway.
  10. I liked the part where you ignored everything good he's done. The Star contract is literally the only thing that is notably bad. The rest, you are nitpicking.
  11. It's stunning that you could watch this offseason unfold and come away with this conclusion.
  12. Basically, if you ignore your own scouts and pick according to the consensus lists, you had a great draft. That's what these always are. Realistically, no one really knows how this will turn out. It was inevitable the Bills would end up in a spot like this because all they took were basically unknowns with known quantities still on the board. This FO has given me no reason to doubt them, and if Mel Kiper and the PFF guys were better than team scouting departments, they'd be working in them. Sidenote, but I am very weary of Justin Fields after finding out he's going vegan. People might laugh that off, but think about the best athlete you know of who is vegan. The Blue Jays got Josh Donaldson prior to 2015, and that year he won MVP. Over the course of his time here, he started dating a militant vegan. All of a sudden, he was constantly injured, despite it not really being an issue in the past. His play sharply declined. I do not think Fields will be a success story, especially in a more physical sport.
  13. I think I missed something, what did Sherman do to indicate he's a bad culture fit?
  14. How did they play it safe by taking almost strictly boom or bust prospects?
  15. Dude, Clowney sucks. There's a reason no one was rushing to sign him. The Browns had a barely positive point differential last season, and yeah, they've gotten better but can we at least wait until week 2 before we begin the Bills tradition of collectively shitting our pants and declaring the season to be over?
  16. Not trying to single anyone out, but I don't know how Spencer Brown doesn't count as an exciting pick. I think the top 3 were all very exciting. We didn't grab any middle of the road, high floor guys. You don't win with those. You need elite talent, you have an amazing coaching staff. Naturally, you take guys with insane athletic ability and trust your coaching to mold them into what they need to be. I thought a pick like Kwity Paye would be boring. He'll be a fine player, but you pretty much know what you're getting. Rousseau? Brown? Sky is the limit. They could be elite players or complete busts. That is the complete opposite of boring.
  17. There are a lot of options remaining in FA. If the Bills don't do anything there, then complaining is warranted. Also, just because fans think something is essential (like an new RB, TE) doesn't mean it actually is. The only quibble I have with this offseason is the contract to Feliciano. Is he a starter, is he not? Objective data shows he's not great and better guards were signing for slightly more. Other than that, this team really doesn't need massive improvement. I'm glad they went with guys like Brown and Doyle over some higher floor/lower ceiling guys. When you're in the position the Bills are in, you can afford to take potential studs who are pretty raw.
  18. The leaps in logic here are amazing. You go from "the Bills didn't sign or draft what I consider to be a good RB, and drafted an O-Lineman who I'm going to charitably project as a non-factor" to "so basically, Beane doesn't think that talent in the O-Line is important at all" 10/10
  19. This guy has become a true man of the people in record time. My god, how weird is it to see guys so happy to be drafted by the Bills? This kinda stuff goes beyond general excitement about being drafted.
  20. I more meant the part of his hands being bigger than McDermott's head.
  21. Going to Valhalla or soaking the field in blood?
