  1. Is it very different from Toronto? Summers there get very hot, winters are mild but with a fair amount of snow. I know that, somehow, Buffalo seems to get more snow than Southern Ontario but I'd figure Lake Erie would regulate the temperature in the same way Lake Ontario does.
  2. I think it was written in a single angry rant and then immediately published sans proofreading. Jealousy
  3. Moss could be a terrible RB and I wouldn't care. His pass blocking is indispensable. It gives the tackles a little more margin for error.
  4. Didn't he have an early season fumble that got him in the doghouse?
  5. I would have been stoked with Zeitler or Feiler, didn't need to be Thuney. But yeah, I dunno. My faith is still unbroken, but I am concerned.
  6. More of a vain and unrealistic pipe dream than anything resembling an expectation.
  7. Not people here, silly. I'm talking about pundits, like Keyshawn Johnson.
  8. The way people are acting as if the Browns have won anything yet makes me want them to fall on their collective asses tbh. And I like the Browns, it just seems like the "team that wins the offseason" almost always disappoints.
  9. Sites like PFF don't have good people because if they did, those people would get snatched up by some NFL FO. The value of those sites is in the statistics alone. The articles and opinions are worth virtually nothing.
  10. I hate always bringing up baseball, but the analytic revolution already happened there. The MLB version of PFF is FanGraphs. When I played fantasy baseball, I relied heavily on a guy named Chris Mitchell and his system called KATOH when it came to the MLB draft and we were drafting prospects with zero pro experience. I did very well. KATOH had no biases. In fact, people often got mad because it left off players other people said we're going to be stars. Take, for example, Brendan Rodgers. He was a top 20 prospect that KATOH placed outside the top 100. People were furious. So far, he looks like he's going to end up as a bench player, at best. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/the-consensus-top-prospect-katoh-hates/ KATOH was also super high on guys who no one knew about who could end up as hall of famers (Jose Ramirez, Paul Goldschmidt, among others). Then Chris Mitchell got hired by a team and he took KATOH with him. Anyway, my point is that if you can recognize significant data points in the college game that tend to lead to successful players, and build a model around that, AND mix it with traditional scouting...that has tended to be the method of finding gems in baseball and I don't see why that would not be the case in football. This is not connected. The two guys already worked for their respective teams.
  11. If my math is right, they were 300-400 yards past the next best duo on that list. Also the only all pro duo. It's actually weird. People were so rah rah Bills during the playoffs and latter part of the season, but they have been barely talked about by anyone in the offseason. The only time they enter the discussion is when some idiot is arguing that the Patriots will retake the division with Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. Also, this narrative that the only reason for the huge passing game is Diggs is getting so irritating. I'm tired of Beasley not getting the respect he deserves. I also don't agree with the "he isn't flashy" narrative. He catches literally everything.
  12. I mean, he hoofed it 50 yards downfield on one leg. It was a pretty good throw, given the circumstances. He needed to land it in the endzone and he did. Of course, he wasn't aiming for anyone so to give him credit for hitting Hopkins is kinda weird.
  13. The Vikings fans sick burn seems to be "lul ur running game suxxx" Good one, guys. Which team scored 500 points again?
  14. The Bucs being #1 is ridiculous. They should have lost to GB. You can't judge an entire team based on one game.
  15. I know there's Steve Nelson available, too, but I'm not going to lie in that I'd love to see Sherman in blue and red regardless of age or talent. One of my favourite defensive players ever. He's still really good, too.
  16. That's when you can tell he's super angry. He goes on tangents that last forever. Trashing Buffalo is weird. Sure, not some world class city, but I'm pretty sure many more people are fleeing NYC. Players are also taking less to stay here.
  17. You're right. We should let them have it. I almost puked when it happened, but that's a once in a decade type of catch. They had a pretty crappy season otherwise, let them have this. And yeah, I don't want to become the Red Sox fans of NFL. It's almost as bad as when someone points out how loud Oh Hi Mark Stadium gets, some Chiefs fan inevitably waddles over to inform everyone that Arrowhead has the Guinness world record for decibel level in a stadium.
  18. Meh I guess you're right. Hard not to see it as a dig, but it was a pretty epic play.
  19. And the Cardinals have as little or less to show. They are the wrong team to be poking the beehive
  20. The funniest part about that play is that the Bills didn't lose another game until the AFCCG, beating team after team by double digits, while the Cardinals went into a complete tailspin and missed the playoffs.
  21. If it's an obvious passing down, Obada will be in.
