  1. Yes, I heard that EJ missed some passes at OTAs. The verdict is in!
  2. I get it. You are convinced he will fail therefore are anxious for that to happen. Forgive me if I have more confidence in people that have devoted their lives to learning and living the game rather than the opinions of a few fans who have decided based on 10 games of evidence that they know the future. There seems little point to me of rooting for his failure and worrying about what happens to free agents 3 or 4 years from now. Clearly no matter your opinion the Bills are committed to EJ so why not enjoy the ride?
  3. It is amazing to me how many fans seem so intent on wanting the Bills QB to fail. What's the point, really?
  4. I guess it would be entirely possible that Marrone would not reveal all his reasoning to the media. Whatever the reasons, good idea
  5. I can't wait to see him play with this defense, but I have liked everything I have seen and heard so far. He is most definitely a player.
  6. It would be impossible not to like this kid. He has definitely got game.
  7. Understanding Offensive Play Calling for Fans 101: If the play works, of course that was the right call and only an idiot would have done something different; if a play does not work, the OC is an idiot and should be fired immediately.
  8. He was not arrested for drunk driving. Young men who can afford it buy fast cars and drive them fast. This seems to be a revelation to many.
  9. +1 I might add that I am not surprised that Sullivan is at the head of the lynching party. This would give him endless material on how stupid OBD is for drafting him in the first place, for not being able to control him, etc., and then give him the opportunity to point fingers at them again when he is a dominant player somewhere else.
  10. There were many. As the year went on he was more and more isolated on WR taking him deep or on jump balls in the end zone where he is outmatched. Hey, I like the guy and he provided some great plays last year, but it is not like they could not upgrade at that position.
  11. Wow - looks like Ryan Fitzpatrick will finally lead a team to the playoffs. Amazing improvement from the Texans. He actually went to the trouble of picking all the games? I could have done this on toilet paper during a daily constitutional and made more sense.
  12. By all means, let's cut a pro bowl player for off the field maturity issues.
  13. Most rationale post in this entire threads. I would only add: he could not beat out Curtis Painter. Yes, the architect of the Colts 1/15 season, perhaps the worst QB ever in the NFL, that Curtis Painter. Please.
  14. You could say that about practically any 7th round pick. Total crap shoot
  15. I liked SJ, but losing him is not going to hurt. Mike Williams is a more than adequate replacement, and probably better. It allows them to move Woods inside where he will be hard to stop, and he is a more reliable receiver. With the addition of Watkins, SJ was no better than 4th on the depth chart.
  16. You do not have to be a "liberal" to dislike Trump. There are many reasons to dislike him that pre-date him ever making a political utterance, and many since that have nothing do with his non-business opinions.
  17. I was listening to WGR this morning on my way to work, and they were asking the question "who would be your dream owner of the Buffalo Bills" to generate some conversation and some phone calls. This is nothing more than Sal's response to that, and an attempt to generate some conversation and therefore listeners for WGR. There is no news in this.
  18. Manzel is an arrogant, spoiled brat and that is not likely to change. There is no way he is not going to be a major distraction to the Browns, whether he plays or not. You would think he might mature over time, but I would not bet on it. Mike Pettine better get used to this.
  19. I can't agree with your take here. The only receiver in this draft that was a potential immediate number 1 threat was Watkins. While deep in receivers, it was not necessarily deep in elite talents, unless you think the Bills needed Odell Beckham. Something tells me you would have been screaming about Beckham at 9, but he was the next best option at that point. Major drop off. The Bills have a roster full of number 2 WR talents and did not need another one. As for the "potentially top 5 pick", why plan for failure? It is as likely a bottom 5 pick as a top 5 pick. I applaud Whaley's guts on this. The big issue many people have us they simply do not believe EJ will play well enough to win, therefore the Bills should plan for failure despite what is a stacked roster at this point. That may happen, but planning for failure leads to failure every time.
  20. 2nd in 2013 and a conditional pick in 2014 which turned out to be a 2nd.
  21. Schumer is very powerful in Washington. The threat of his wrath is very real to Goodel I am sure.
  22. The next positive conclusion he comes to will be the first.
  23. Sorry for the Rush Limbaugh stereotype. That was uncalled for. As for the rest of my comments, they stand as is. I have lived through many presidents, and I can that I have profoundly disagreed with all of them on some or even all of their policies. The right to disagree and publicly so is fundamental to our system, but disagree and disrespect are two different things. Sorry if you do not see the difference it makes.
