I appreciate your optimism and respect your take on this, but it cannot agree. They are saying what they need to now. I am sure their bid will try to tickle stay in Buffalo box as well. However, it would be relatively easy, given the politics of funding a new stadium, for this group to walk a line pretending to want to stay but never having any intention of doing so. It comes down to who is truly committed to WNY long term and will do whatever it takes. I just do not see how that works with Bon Jovi. I agree with Kelly on this. All that Toronto money is not in this game for regionalization. Once the ink drys, they will do whatever they want. New Jersey boy's letter today changes nothing.

I would expect people in Chicago to underestimate the Bills since they have nothing to base their opinion on and clearly think highly of their team. I, on the other hand, am not a Cutler fan. It is just as likely, if not more so, that Cutler throws three picks in the face of six sacks. This would not be an unusual performance from him, and the Bills have a very good defense despite your concerns. I am more concerned about the offense, but in any case, this is a very winnable game.

It should not be a surprise to anyone that this group has no long term plan for Buffalo. No matter how they weasel word or play nice right now, the Toronto investors are not planning to put up $750m or more for their share to have football team in Buffalo. They, and the greedy tools of the NFL like Jerry Jones, have their eyes on a much bigger pie in Toronto. If they win control, the Bills are as good as gone once the current lease expires.

I know. Where is the local media when you need them. No gross overreactions to talk about today. Did he not miss a pass? Did he not seem upset, or too upset, or not upset enough? The penalty is not an obstacle because this is a game that is played for the long term, not the short term. Any ownership group with determination to move the team could easily manipulate the situation toward relocation over the next 6 or 7 years. As for the owners, I would guess there is a fairly large contingent who would be willing to be led to the conclusion that Bills are not viable in WNY in the long term, and that much more money could be made in Toronto. The Bon Jovi Group is the major threat to the long term future of the Bills in WNY at this point and people should not be fooled by the current propaganda they are putting out.

I don't know if he is the bet coach ever, but you are probably right that if Belichick and Brady were Buffalo Bills, we would all love them. That, however, is not the case. They are hated rivals who have laughed at and disrespected our city and team, not to mention beaten us like drums. I for one do not respect Belichick even a little bit. I think he is an arrogant jerk, and a serial cheater. I may be jealous of New England's success, but that is far different from liking or respecting those two turds.

I think your memory may be eluding you. Lynch was never "great" on the bills. He was below average in fact, and in his last year here Jackson was clearly the better back. His production over the past three years in Seattle has been far better than any year he spent in Buffalo. When on the Bills lynch was an unmotivated, unhappy, underperforming player.

It would be illogical to assume the Trust must take the highest bid. Ultimately the NFL must approve the sale and their criteria will encompass more than price. There will be many factors in evaluating the bids including both price and intention on eventual location of the team.
