    The Deadskins will be hard to beat for the bottom of the trash heap. It does not help that they are clearly the worst team in a pretty tough division. I think the next 4 will be Cleveland, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tennessee in no particular order.

Ditto on your thanks to the mods and SDS for providing this forum and making it such a pleasurable and informative way to expand our enjoyment of our favorite team.     I would assume he has the mother of all concussions. I would not be surprised if he is having some back or neck issues as well. That was a monsterous hit.

It also does not surprise me that other so called journalists would spin what amounts to speculation into a much bigger story, based on a tweet. Great journalistic integrity there. The whole thing is BS and people should not be dragged into the dirt with Timmy and his minions.

    This hotel should refuse to book the Patriots. FYI, for opening weekend they have rooms starting at $199.00 per night and are almost sold out.

    They are not going to replace their starting center with a training camp cut a week before the season opener. Be serious. This is about evaluating the last few positions on the roster.

    Good for him. It's about time somebody from the inner circle in the NFL called out the Patriots on this mess. The actions of the team, the owner, and the primadona QB have made the situation worse.

    If they keep these three I would agree, but Rex has only said he is likely to keep three QB's. He has never said these three. I would not be surprised if Simms was number three. If they get a decent offer for Cassel I think he goes. Maybe they cut him anyway.

    When Dareus and McKelvin are added back I think you lose an OT (Johnson) and Carrington. Could keep Thigpen and lose a TE. I think they keep Thopmson over Hogan. They will absolutely have 6 CB's.

    I am not expecting much today with all the skill players out. Hoping the offense can at least look efficient if not dymnaicic. I am also hoping all three QBs look to have command. Go "D". 9/6 Bills.

    Now that's funny. Me too. I suspect it would be Manuel. Cassel can not be a difference maker. Taylor could be, but he has never started a real game in the NFL and there will be a big learning curve. Manuel, despite the fact that this is not popular, is the best combination for Roman's offense.

    He has a three year contract. The last year is voidable based on playing time in 2015 and 2016. Basically, they have him two years if he pans out and they will need to negotiate a new deal before the end of year 2 to guarantee keeping him.
