  1. Maybe because you cannot predict the outcome of every game based on the performance in one game, good or bad?
  2. Not sure what game you were watching. He was sacked 4 times, hurried and hit on several others. Net yards passing were 225, 100 yards of that on two plays - a spectacular catch by Perriman who was very well covered, and blown coverage by the Bills resulting in a 65 yard TD. Those passing stats are well below his average.
  3. In order to receive the MSG national feed, you must subscribe to DirecTVs regional sports package. I do not believe MSG 1 or other alternates airing local programming are available outside of the local region, in this case Buffalo.
  4. After reading this thread I am convinced. No point in playing the games. The outcome is already determined. What a relief.
  5. I think the Bills match up very well here. The Ravens are counting on two rookies to shore up what was a bad OL last year. Will they be able to run? My bet is no. The Bills have the secondary to match up on those receivers. They will need to pressure Flacco so he does not have time to stand back in the pocket and unleash his cannon, but I like the Bills D in this one. On Defense, thus us not your Daddy's Ravens. They are OK, but not the dominant group they once were. Dumerville is out, Suggs coming off injury, suspect secondary I think the Bills win this one. It could be close, but 27-13 would not surprise me.
  6. Well, you are at least consistent in taking the most pessimistic view possible over every aspect of the team and the season. Something to be said for that I guess.
  7. The problem with Tannehill is not the number of sacks, but his tendency to panic under pressure and force mistakes. If he were better, he would get sacked less. He is certainly not the only problem with Miami, but he is no savior.
  8. If that is the case, they better hope their LBs are better than they look on paper. When the Bills tried that with Kiko in the middle he was run over like he was not even there. That was two injuries ago. (Or is it three?)
  9. Vernon is the better player right now so hard to see how they got better there. They lost a young stud entering his prime and replaced him with an aging vet who was cheaper.
  10. The critique of Taylor based on last year's performance is very fair. In suspect everything the writer mentioned are aspects of his game the Coaching Staff are working with him to improve, and that he will need to improve for the team to ultimately succeed. This is also why the Bills are unwilling to commit big dollars beyond this year. They need to see more. I am optimistic we will see more, but until we do, the criticism is fair.
  11. Harvin played what, 3 games? Goodwin is his replacement. Hopefully he can play more than 3 games. Salas takes Hogan's spot as the 4th WR. A wash. Easley was strictly special teams. His loss could be felt there, but Powell looks like a better WR. We will see.
  12. Thanks YoLo. It looks like Lavar Edwards was claimed by Carolina. Good for him. I thought he was a good PS candidate for us. Tony Steward on the Saints PS.
  13. Frankly the writing was on the wall with this one for weeks. Why do you think he was the only "starter" getting significant playing time the last two weeks, especially last night? He had a significant injury causing him to miss most of camp, came in behind, and has not looked good. Sometimes guys do hit the wall. I am afraid I do not see the conspiracy theories others are seeing here. And, oh by the way, under investigation by the NFL.
  14. Yes , I am sure the coaching staff is not taking your cavalier attitude toward winning this year, so they keep the players who are ready to play.
  15. Such is the nature of not using a roster spot on. Number 6 WR who is not good enough to play. They may give him another shirt with the ps, which is where he belongs right now.
  16. Bold Bills Prediction: Bills win the AFCE (6/0 in division) Bold NFL Prediction: LA realizes they stole the wrong franchise and sends the Rams back to St. Louis.
  17. I am staying far away from this thread.
  18. The article referenced is posted on the TBD home page. Sorry but I am link challenged on my iPad. Not really a projection, just stated that "does anyone really expect the Bills to make the playoffs". Really a short article about the Bulls and the Bills QB situations.
  19. You may be right. We will see. I understand why people are pulling for Striker, but I don't see the ability people are ascribing to him. I would rather see Albright on the PS than Striker.
  20. I do not think they have any interest in Striker for the PS. Too slow, too small, nothing to develop. Rex has already said as much. Loves his heart, not an NFL player.
  21. He was an RFA this year who was not tendered by the Broncos. That's about all there is to say about him.
  22. Except Rex out coached him in the head to head match ups, without question. As for the overall, you could make a case for the Jets being better coached, but Rex ate his lunch twice.
  23. Kyle Orton did the very same thing in his first start for the Bills against Detroit. First series I believe, although I do not remember if it was his first pass in the game. Could have been. It happens to all of them at some point.
  24. I agree that Powell makes the team. They have a real dilemma for the presumed last slot, assuming Salas and Powell make it. None of the remaining receivers have distinguished themselves. I think both Little and Lewis have played themselves out. Maybe they keep Boykin, and maybe they cut them all and scan the old waiver wire. Personally, I have seen enough of little and Lewis. Maybe Lewis for the PS again.
