No surprise- the NFL would probably like to get rid of all of the Niners primetime games. Even with Garrapolo healthy, giving the Niners 5 primetime games was a stretch.

Blackledge never amounted to much. Kelly was in the USFL and off everyone's radar. Elway had some tough early games. Marino was the one that looked great right from the start. Ultimately, they had 10 super bowl appearances between the big three with only two wins.Those QBs dominated their era. You would have thought there would be more wins in the super bowl, though.

If the D from yesterday shows up, we have a reasonable chance. If Rogers does not play or gets injured early in the course of the game, I'd favor us to win. they won't get ambushed like the Vikes, though.

Nice post. I wanted to go to the game and had access to tickets and field passes, but couldn't make it from west coast. I'll regret that for a long time. That stadium does look incredible. I also feel like Vikes fans are good folks, so even blowing them out wouldn't cause people to act out. my buddy that was there said there were a surprising amount of Bills fans there.

Ha! I jumped all over him earlier in the week. He looks rediculous now. Even before today the Bills would win 999 out of 1000 games played with the 1 Alabama win coming on a game where the Bills fumbled on every play.

Agree- I can see a radical change in lifestyle going from a Miami to Buffalo or LA to Buffalo. Philly not so much.

Jordan must not have been trying that hard to find things to do. What is he doing in Philadelphia that's so radically different? Playing Fortnite and eating cheesesteaks instead of wings?

I always pictured Rochester as being just as much of a hometown for the Bills like Buffalo is, with the bars filled with fans wearing Bills jerseys. When you go to the Bills bar in San Francisco for games I'd say it's split pretty evenly between Buffalo and Rochester folks with some Canadiens and Toronto fans sprinkled in.

Buffalo is making huge strides recently and it seems in the road to a comeback. You read lots of positive press from national publications these days. I think there was a terrible mindset that started in the 60’s and continued into the 70’s where the powers that be thought it was good to rip down buildings that should have been saved. Lots of these buildings were not replaced and there are large parts of downtown that are empty. Corrupt politicians didn’t help and economic development stagnated. That seems to be a thing of the past though and you see incredible redevelopment projects now. Population loss has stopped. I think Buffalo has a good future ahead.

I'd say Cincy, Jax, Seattle and Jets will win, the other picks I agree on.

With that O-line play yesterday, Tom Brady would have had a day of misery. This is not on Josh Allen. If that is what we can expect from the O-line, we are in for a long year, no matter who we start at QB.

He is right about some things like the O-line, but I would not say that this is one of the least talented rosters. You could point at the Patriots and say that outside of Brady, they don't have a talented roster, but they have players that fit their system and execute it well. Is that not how the Bills did it on defense last year? He even says so. Anyway, I like when the media aligns against us. "Us against them" is what fuels the players will and desire.

I would bet big money on the Bills not going 0-8. I would not be surprised if we beat Baltimore to start off. The Bills defense will steal some games and surprise people.
