Top Offensive (skill positions) and Defensive UFAs
Virgil replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
@YoloinOhio I’ll waste my time however I see fit oh yeah, and thank you I agree and have for years. I think there should be a cap discount like in the nba, but that’s it. Basically, the Bills could offer Allen 125 mil contract, and it would only count as a 100 mil contract. Everyone else would be dollar for dollar -
WAY too much Patriot* love around here (my analogy)

Non-call affected Super Bowl too
Virgil replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Refs were fine. I wouldn’t have called it. They let them play and that was well within two guys playing for a ball. -
In the most boring Super Bowl in history, in a game where the Saints should have been there. Edelman, who was suspended 4 games for performance enhancing drugs, wins the MVP. He wins it for the team who won a previous Super Bowl after the QB was suspended for 4 games for deflate gate. The same team that won after spy gate. I’m salty. But I hate that so many NFL records belong to a team with scumbag players (Edelman, Brady, Gronk). A coach who plays for stats (19-1 season) and also gets to be in our division. The worst part? They don’t need to do any of it. They are good enough without it all. They just represent what’s wrong with the NFL to me and are a constant middle finger to the league and opposing fans. I hope this was the worst rated super bowl in history.

Tag him. That was Foles 2mil buyout is irrelevant

I get why, but I thought they didn’t have the money to do this? If the intention is to trade him, and they succeed, does it matter if it puts them over the cap because they will be back under it by the deadline? If not, then I think they’ll have to clear some space just to do this and get a trade. Article I read say they’d be lucky to get a 3rd rounder. I doubt he goes for less than a 2nd and 5th.

Interesting yet weird story on stadium bathrooms
Virgil replied to Stevie Ray's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m sorry, but shouldn’t this titled “How Buffalo Bathrooms won all bathrooms!” I fully expect people to start buying tickets to the game next year just to wait their turn in the New Era fun factory. Go Bills! -

This Is Why Spending Big $ For A RB Is Not Wise:
Virgil replied to YodaMan79's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we’ve all learned in the past few years that it isn’t as simple as just having a solid runningback. It’s about your offensive line, your scheme, your respectable passing game. Even the list you just posted only shows a 50% success rate in the first 3 rounds. That’s not a good thing. Teams shouldn’t pay for a guy who is aging or doesn’t fit their scheme. But if you have a guy who you know is good, fits your scheme, younger that 27, I think you absolutely pay him. We went through a phase of runningback by committee and some teams still do. It’s what keeps players like Kamara fresh. But they also are going to pay him when it’s time. He’s changed their offense. Someone like Bell, if he were 2 years younger and didn’t have suspension issues? I think he absolutely gets the 17 mil he’s looking for. End result, it’s not cut and dry about the position. -

Rams vs. Pats*** -- this is where it all ends
Virgil replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t buy that. I know they say that, but I think it’s coming to an end. I wouldn’t be completely surprised if a win would lead to the retirement of Brady and Gronk, possibly even the departure of Billicheat. They will want to go out on a high note and the gap is closing, even they see it -
I was hoping for a Bills game over there. Give me an excuse to go

Who hates the Patriots** more than I do
Virgil replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will never date a Patriots fan. I don’t allow Patriots players on my Madden team. The only team that generates any emotional investment for me is when I watch another team play the Patriots. I tend to have a negative opinion of anyone once they say they are a Patriots fan- 82 replies

I’m really surprised at the number of people would sign him. Besides being a piece of ***** for that video, he has multiple other incidents. Even if you believe in second chances, he seems to be a Gordon type that will find ways to get in trouble. This also just happened. Does anyone really believe that he’s not that type of person still? I’m all for getting good players, but I also want to respect my team. No Brady, no Hunt.
