I think we just got desensitized to how fast opposing qbs have to get rid of the ball against us and now we see a low sack total and complain lol Steelers game Ben was just lobbing the ball up there into tight coverage and his receivers made every ridiculous play possible…that loss still feels pretty flukey too me unlike the others

They certainly tried that last time 😂 this whole thing is weird to me like we’re talking about how our defense is overrated because we’re playing an easy schedule but they are in our division playing a variation of the same easy schedule as us haha

Do we know star is not playing? That would be concerning lol I think it’s more of a 50/50 game without him. Edmunds was sorely missed in that colts game and he is back. Klein was absolutely terrible at MLB…with edmunds back we could kick him over to the outside and run less nickel but I don’t think that was really an option in the colts game the way the injuries shook out. Of course Leslie Frazier wasn’t gonna say ‘we already had a terrible linebacker on the field and you wanted us to add another one?’ In that postgame presser after the colts game but I’ve got a feeling that was the issue

Yea that’s true…it’s really more about how you respond once defensive coordinators learn your tendencies than instant success anyway. If Mac finishes the season strong he could be the real deal. I can’t shake the feeling that they are the 2020 Miami dolphins but they could certainly prove me wrong (I hope they don’t 😂) tua was managing the games well and their defense was coming up with huge turnovers left and right. two bills drive was in a constant state of panic right around this time of the year much like we are now lol then they had a huge game against us with a trip to the playoffs on the line and we absolutely obliterated them so badly that their fans still complain we ran up the score

I don’t mean this to prove a point I’m just genuinely curious how many bills games you have watched this season…pretty decent chance pats get stonewalled running the football from what we have seen so far this year when we’re playing at full strength. Our linebacker depth is questionable and missing edmunds and star was devastating against the colts. Somehow this bills defense is #1 in a lot of metrics and criminally underrated and overrated all at the same time 😂. A lot of Henry’s yards came on that one long run with all the holds in the titans game…what they really hurt us with is the play action passing game because we had the unfortunate displeasure of facing aj brown and Julio jones lol I don’t think they’ve been healthy in the same game any other time it seems like. I think we’ll know more about who has the edge when we get the injury report. Seems like we got forced into playing nickel all game against the colts since we lost edmunds and would rather have a decent extra db on the field than a terrible linebacker…I doubt that will happen schematically next week. Not to mention Stars backup at DT was playing with a bum knee. Bottom line…I think people are trying to extrapolate way too much from those two individual games we have had and the titans offense is a couple tiers above the pats offense when healthy

The titans had 350+ yards of offense with absolute scrubs at every skill position last week…lots of turnovers though we’re gonna have to protect the football. I am still puzzled the national media never talks about the injury mess we’ve had on the offensive line…it’s crazy how much this one game is gonna shape the narrative for either team. These analysts play real fast and loose with the contender/pretender label when it’s such a week to week league

I have a feeling it’s not gonna be close lol someone is gonna blow someone out. If the pats dline is having their way with us it’ll be us but if we hold up decently we’re going to be back to our 30+ points ways and I don’t see Mac hanging in a shootout.

Still a fairly soft secondary though…they couldn’t cover diggs with their two best dbs last year. I think being unbalanced is actually going to work out in our favor for once…they seem to be beating up on teams like the browns and titans that rely on consistently being able to get that 4 or 5 yard rush when they need it. If we don’t get brown or Feliciano back I will def be concerned though don’t get me wrong. I think we’re really underselling how whack our offensive line talent has been most of this season and reinforcements are coming

Weird people are so defeatist…split with NE and we’re still in great shape for the division record tiebreaker…we were shaky in our afc games but fortunately we blew one against jax and not Miami

We lost to the jags missing like 60% of our offensive line by 3 points…our injuries just played perfectly into the only thing they’re decent at. If we were in a similar situation health wise in the trenches I’d be much more worried. I just feel pretty strongly that our best football is coming and this mini bye week gives our Covid dudes opportunity to get back in the lineup

I really don’t know how you defend the bills if you can’t get home with 4 rushers…fortunately for other teams our offensive line has been a mess with Covid/injuries…we’ve had two weak links on the oline virtually all season

Diggs thoroughly embarrassed JC Jackson all game last matchup…call me crazy but I’m not too worried about this one if we get brown and Feliciano back. I think the pats are closer to 2020 dolphins than super bowl contenders…strong opportunistic defense/ pretty decent offense

Lol I’ve been saying the same thing every week…people are looking at it backwards imo we have been an absolute mess injury wise and still battled to a 7-4 record. We have essentially been rolling with an offensive line matching the skill level of the chiefs in that super bowl game nearly every week and we are still winning games. We’re gonna get some guys back and likely start rolling Excellent in big name skill position players avoiding IR maybe…but dreadful otherwise in the areas that have been the weak spots. Hard to throw your healthy big name guys the ball when you’re giving up instant pressure because you have absolute clowns starting on the offensive line 🤣 The ignorance of nfl analysts to touch on this is absurd to me anyone with eyes watching the Jacksonville or Indy games could easily see what happened lol

We were not injury riddled against the titans so absolutely not lol the jags game was the product of essentially missing 3 starters on the offensive line…i don’t get why injuries are an excuse for all our opponents but for us it is not allowed 😂

Ok health wise? Lol we were missing two starting offensive linemen and our best run stuffing DT and our starting MLB against the colts and all their backups played terribly. We were missing two starting offensive linemen and Knox against the jags which is essentially more than half of the offensive line. We have been a disaster health wise as far as good play in the trenches is concerned but I guess no one cares because it isnt skill position dudes. There’s a pretty decent chance we go into that game against NE with all those guys back and absolutely light them up

We hopefully won’t be starting absolute scrubs on the oline if feliciano and brown can go. It’s weird no one outside of this message board talks about that lol that’s been the source of most of our troubles.

The titans minus aj brown Julio jones and Derrick Henry? Lol that’s identical to our win over the saints imo. Good defense and offense absolutely riddled with injuries.the only impressive win by either team is the bills win over the chiefs in arrowhead..and whoever wins the game Monday will get an impressive win too. Pats also got the browns missing Chubb and hunt and baker playing with a torn labrum

I personally don’t see any head scratching losses for us…we needed edmunds and star for that colts game and they weren’t available. Pats season has been very similar to ours this year but for some reason we give them the benefit of the doubt and not our own team. Blowout wins against mediocre teams with injury problems / bad teams all season.

Tennessee is missing tons of guys and playing horribly and some questionable officiating has gone in the pats favor and they’re only down 6

I remember the pats playing the titans in a snowstorm not too many years ago and Brady had 5 passing tds by halftime 😂
