Cook is so much better than Dingleberry it's not even close. He's physically superior, superior runner with better vision and decision making, better ball security. There is nothing, NOTHING, Dingleberry does better and he's slower, weaker, smaller. Dingleberry is holding us back with his limitations, so many yards are left on the field and big plays cut short. We need Cook's explosion, especially in cold and poor weather when big plays aren't always going to come from 50 yard bombs. I get there's a contingency of Dingleberry fans, but they are putting him above the team at this point. Cook is the better, more gifted, player and NEEDS to be out there over him.

Sorry but 32 is ancient in the NFL especially for a defensive back where foot speed is paramount. Hard to pay big money for two safties given all the other paydays in the roster. Our secondary is soaking up a massive amount of payroll with Allen's extension kicking in next year and his cap number balloons to $40MM... fans aren't used to carrying that large of a contract but it means you can't sign everyone like when we never had a QB deal on the books like that. Diggs jumps to $20MM next year, plus Von Miller, etc.

Look around us the league, defense may not be best in the league at the moment but certainly better than Cinci and KC or any other contender. It's still easily a top 10 unit and probaby still top 5. Only Philly and SF are units i would say are clearly betterand they are NFC. We likely have the best defense of any AFC playoff team, that's what matters.

Well the drop off will be determined by the replacement. For his first time playing Hamlin was a decent backup, made plays missed plays, not very good limited physically but so much better than Jaquan Johnson who just physically does not have size nor ability to play saftey at the NFL level. JJ shouldn't be on this roster and the fact he is for 4 years is an indictment on the coaching staff and front office. Marlowe will need to be our saving grace he has near average NFLsize and speed, or at least he did before.
