  1. Notice all the players get heat and criticism, but not the coaching staff, when it comes to coaches or gets turned around that the fans are being unreasonable. Holding leadership to a different (lesser) standard is poor leadership itself and poor culture. Pegula needs to step in because he's got a good ole boy network more concerned with protecting themselves than the team being successful.
  2. So tired of this leadership constantly comparing everything and worshiping a Panthers franchise that never won Jack. Just stop already.
  3. And now some perspective for you... from the year the Bills made the playoffs with Josh Allen vs the Texans, the Bengals had a 1 win season, drafted Joe Burrow, he had reconstructive knee surgery, went to a super bowl and now completely out coached and embarassed the Bills in their own house. The Bills were bad 8 years ago is not an excuse for someone to keep their job. The Bills weren't bad because they never had a decent coach, they were bad because they had awful QB play for years and a cheap owner that refused to invest into the team, facilities, staff, infrastructure. Now we have the QB and owner situation resolved but this coach has proven he is not the caliber coach to win in the playoffs, lacks scheme and gameplanning ability, and his style of football does not fit what this team has now become -- he's a tractor tailor driver behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Also please note Andy Reid did not win a Super Bowl in Philadelphia and the Eagles actually went on to win a Super Bowl after firing him sooner than he ended up winning one with Patrick Mahomes, and now they are both in the conference Chamionships with Siriani lined up as likely coach of the year. The final straw for McDermott is his continued playoff failures from horrendous game planning/management and decision making. 13 seconds was one of the worst coaching collapses in history, he should have been fired, but instead he got what should be a mercy year this year. There has been zero improvement from him on the playoffs what so ever. We can't hold him to a different standard than the rest of the team and hold the franchise back as a result. This team is the Buffalo Bills, not the Buffalo McDermotts.
  4. 9. Sticking head in the sand and ignoring all the issues leading up to this point in time.
  5. This sort of thing works against crappy QBs with blah WRs... Your Mac Jones and Tyquan Thorntons of the world... It certainly doesn't work vs playoff teams with 4.3 stud WRs strong after the catch and elite QBs with split second releases and premier decision making. This is why our "defensive guru" of a head coach flops in the playoffs every year. It's negligent.
  6. Oh yes, exactly, there was no other option on this play. You can't be serious. Play was a free first down.
  7. The Bengals had a 1 win season, took Burrow, surpassed the Bills all within the time frame the Bills were competing with Allen in the playoffs. McDermott has to go.
  8. You're right, Hollywood would never abuse minors... are... you... serious? Staged or not the infant doesn't know this. Another example of irresponsible parent more interested in internet clicks than doing what's best for their child. If it is staged, leave the room with the infant then return once over. Having the infant present does nothing for this video clip.
  9. What was Brees before Payton, solid QB that when he was a few agent only 2 teams bothered to give him an offer both with limited money. Before Payton Brees had thrown 3500 yards only once in his career, never 30 TD. Career best year was 3576 yd, 24 td, 15 int... never supported a WR for a 1000 yard season before Payton, only one time in his car before Payton he get any guy 1k, which was Gates 1k in 2005 for one year. Once Payton got his hands on him he was throwing 4-5k yards and 30-40 TD seasons at will. Career 84.9 qb rating before Payton, career 101.5 with him. Brees as great as the production was, was a limited QB that Payton successfully game planned for and designed an offense for. Brees limitations routinely raised their ugly head late in the year in outdoor games where he didn't have the arm strength to execute outside the dome.
  10. People will point out Lewis lost in the first round, but if he had Allen instead of Dalton you better believe it would have been Divisional round instead of WC. It's actually spot on. If Lewis had Josh Allen instead of Andy Dalton he would be where McDummy is. Both timid player-friendly coaches that consistently shoot themselves in the foot and fall short of expectations.
  11. Yes because differing opinions on the Bills are equivalent to abusing children. Get out of here teletubby.
  12. I'm going to guess this is fake and staged considering the size of that tiny TV and everyone with their phones out recording. However, regardless of fake or real, i would normally laugh at this except for 1 thing... you can hear and see an infant in the room. This is entirely unacceptable with an infant in the room, traumatic event for an infant and environments like this can create life long impacts in such a young child. Eff this guy and every adult in the room. Trailer park trash.
  13. Who cares what we pay Payton, Terry cuts the check it doesn't impact salary cap or the team in any manner what so ever. The first round pick is an investment. But spending that pick on him will have a much bigger impact than whatever guy Beane selects.
  14. This was laughed at by some... but after Sunday the commitment from coaching staff and teams was drastically on display. This weekthe Bills had the day off on Tuesday as required, but then McDermott also gave the players an extra day off for a family day on Saturday... the day before the Divisional Playoff... against the defending AFC Champs... inexcusable. And it showed big time who was prepared who wasn't. Coaching staff needs to go. Not Chamionship caliber.
  15. Jesus christ in the practice report, you have a link for the Saturday day off? I couldn't find it. I'm with to 100% on the lack of practice i called this out earlier this year.
  16. At least you don't need to worry about them losing in the playoffs.
  17. Anyone selecting OC and DC and giving the HC a pass is out to lunch... it's like you admit the staff is a mess and blame everyone except for the main guy in charge. Like what? This is what happens when emotional feelings for someone conflict with results/logic. Lol offensive staff needs to go, defensive staff needs to go, but hey the main guy making all the decisions, setting the direction for both is great. Just silly. I don't think I've ever heard of a head coach firing both OC and DC in the same offseason and keeping his job.
  18. We haven't drafted a single pro bowler in any of the last 4 drafts. If it weren't for Allen he would be gone.
  19. That's fair. You can easily rephrase the above. Giving the coaching staff for more leeway for repetitive failure sets a poor example for players and creates a rift of different classes within the team. Leadership, if anything, should always be held to a higher standard. When leadership continually fails you, that's when you lose respect in the locker room. And by all indications, between the disengaged play, comments from Milano, abs actions of Diggs leaving early, the players are already there. You are losing a good team, you let this go any further then you will need a complete blow up and reconstruction which would set us back and cause further waste if Allen's career. This needs to be addressed now. 13 seconds was firable considering past failures, this year was a mercy year. Pegula needs to step up and take control, either one, and i have the feeling it's going to need to be Kim because Terry doesn't have the fortitude.
  20. So how many chances to fix their repetitive failures? No player would ever be given this much leeway. Don't you think the players recognize they keep falling short of their goal and is directly related to the coaches? Don't you think the players recognize their staff is not being held remotely to the same standards? How many more years of Allen are we going to waste? Let's keep in mind he's still developing so now we are hindering his development with no Dabol or other offensive coach with enough knowledge to groom a top tier QB and offensive system. 13 seconds was the final straw, this year was their mercy year to fix it, they didn't. Time to go. Accountability.
  21. One thing I would like to clarify is McDermott is NOT Dungy 2.0 ... he's Marvin Lewis 2.0.
  22. I'm so sick of people blaming Frazier, he was literally handpicked by Mcdermott to run HIS defense. It's HIS scheme, HIS defense, Frazier just running it under HIS direction. A defensive head coach doesn't bring in a new defensive scheme lol... could you imagine Andy Reid firing the OC and saying he's going to bring in a different offensive scheme?
  23. Can't move in to the draft until we figure who is the coach next year. If it's mcdermott draft doesn't matter team has no chance.
