I don't see it with Tua. He is accurate but he throws little 3 yard passes so him being accurate isn't that impressive. He doesn't have the arm strength to make all the throws you need to make as an NFL QB. Their is a reason why the Dolphins have been mentioned in talks to acquire Watson. If Tua was someone they truly believed in then they wouldn't entertain the thought of trading for Watson. I know the Bills would laugh at Houston if they called and wanted to trade him for Allen.

I am shocked Rodgers didn't try to run it in. One the one play it looked like he had a clear path to the end zone. If he did get stopped it would been inside the 2 yard line.

Any team that gives up a 1st must think they could win the SB now. A team like the Jets wouldn't do it since they have many holes to fill on both sides of the ball. They aren't winning or competing for a SB in the near future.
-
He is going nowhere. What team would give up a first and 2nd round pick for a 37 year old QB. Granted Rodgers is a great QB still playing at a very high level but that is a lot to give for him given his age. Rodgers will finish is career in GB.

How does Josh work on his nerves...?

The Browns can throw and run the ball. Buffalo can only do one of those things. -
How does Josh work on his nerves...?

Allen has been very good during the pressure moments. He has had quite a few 4th quarter comebacks so far in his career. He helped the Bills win two playoff games and was a big reason they went 13-3, won the division, and got to the AFC championship game. KC is a better team than Buffalo. That is the reason they lost not Allen's nerves. -
Bills play at Tampa Bay and KC next season

I wasn't suggesting week 1 Miami and Buffalo. Two teams in the same division with 13 and 10 wins respectively I could see one of their games being in primetime at some point in the season. I like the primetime games for one reason. It means the Bills are good. -

I predict 5 primetime games for the Bills next season. This year we had 5 and that was coming off a 10-6 season and a WC loss. The Bills usually enjoyed being overlooked and flying under the radar. That won't be the case anymore. 13-3 division champs, Allen has been one of the more exciting players in the game to watch. The Bills also bring in strong ratings which the networks obviously love. If fans are allowed to attend next season get ready to have to get to Bills Stadium on a Monday or Thursday, and a SNF game as well. I could definitely see KC as a primetime game and I also think one will be against the Fish. They are an upcoming team coming off a 10 win season. Showcase a long time AFCE rivalry -
He has been in the league three years now. The first two seasons during normal times with sellout crowds. Going into year 4 playing in front of fans shouldn't be an issue.

The chiefs are 15x better than everyone else
Greg S replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was hoping the Raiders would be one of the teams that made the playoffs this year. Maybe its because both teams hate each other being an intense AFCW rivalry but the Raiders match up well with the Chiefs. They usually put up a good fight against them and give them more trouble than most other teams. -
Better not be an issue. When things (hopefully) get back to normal the team will be playing to packed stadiums both at home and on the road. Last night KC showed they are a lot better than the Bills. That is why the Bills lost.

Compared with the Super Bowl teams

Beane has done a nice job managing the Cap. He has already said many times that building thru the draft is how they will build their foundation. We won't be able to pay everybody when it comes to our own FA so hopefully Beane has more hits then misses when it comes to the draft. -
Josh is what 24?. Already back to back playoff seasons, a division championship, and two playoff wins. These experiences both the wins and losses in big games will serve him well going forward. The team is learning how to win and winning a championship is one of the hardest things to do. This was a great year for Josh and the team overall.
-
Having Josh's stats decline next season could actually be a good thing if it means we have developed a strong running game. Josh was asked to do way to much throwing all the time. I get its a QB driven league but you still have to be able to run the ball. If the Bills had an offense that was balanced then that would make Allen that much more dangerous.
-
Thank you Bills. This was a great season and the best part is the future is bright. Have no doubt they will be back competing for a championship.

For me its starts with the lines on both sides of the ball. Defensively we just don't generate pressure with the front 4. Look at TB yesterday and how they got to Rodgers. Offensively our O-line can't open up holes for the run and I also think Allen makes them look better in pass protection with his ability to escape the rush and buy time. Overall it was an outstanding season. 13-3 division champs, sweeping the division, winning 2 playoff games. This team has come a long way in the Beane/McDermott era. Beane will need to improve the roster to help us get by KC but the future is bright. As for McDermott last night wasn't a great one but its only his 4th season as HC. He is the type of person who I think will learn from it. Look how long it took Reid to get a ring. All those NFC championship losses with the Eagles and losses with the Chiefs until last year. Hopefully it doesn't take McDermott as long to get a ring as it took Reid though.

Which AFCE Competitor will draft a QB First?
Greg S replied to RoyBatty is alive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't mind having Fitz on the Bills as a backup next season. He might be interested in coming back to Buffalo. He loved it here and he would have a chance to be on a playoff team that can win a Super Bowl. From the Bills side of things he would be a solid backup/insurance policy if Allen got hurt and had to miss some time. -
Absolutely. He didn't cheat like Bonds, McGuire, Sosa did. RIP to a baseball legend.

I would add the Colts and Steelers into the mix(Darnold) as well with Rivers retiring and Ben nearing the end of his career. -

If he does have a pinched nerve in the neck/shoulder area I wonder how much that will bother him. I remember Peyton saying that after neck surgery he could never throw a football the way he used to. Granted surgery is a bigger issue than a pinched serve but it can still cause problems for Mahomes especially with a foot/toe injury as well. -

I wanted Darnold over Allen so I also have no clue. Thankfully we have a GM who knows what he is doing. -

Definitely don't want that to happen. Both the Jets and Fins have what it takes to make that trade.
