For me its starts with the lines on both sides of the ball. Defensively we just don't generate pressure with the front 4. Look at TB yesterday and how they got to Rodgers. Offensively our O-line can't open up holes for the run and I also think Allen makes them look better in pass protection with his ability to escape the rush and buy time. Overall it was an outstanding season. 13-3 division champs, sweeping the division, winning 2 playoff games. This team has come a long way in the Beane/McDermott era. Beane will need to improve the roster to help us get by KC but the future is bright. As for McDermott last night wasn't a great one but its only his 4th season as HC. He is the type of person who I think will learn from it. Look how long it took Reid to get a ring. All those NFC championship losses with the Eagles and losses with the Chiefs until last year. Hopefully it doesn't take McDermott as long to get a ring as it took Reid though.

Which AFCE Competitor will draft a QB First?

I wouldn't mind having Fitz on the Bills as a backup next season. He might be interested in coming back to Buffalo. He loved it here and he would have a chance to be on a playoff team that can win a Super Bowl. From the Bills side of things he would be a solid backup/insurance policy if Allen got hurt and had to miss some time. -
Absolutely. He didn't cheat like Bonds, McGuire, Sosa did. RIP to a baseball legend.

I would add the Colts and Steelers into the mix(Darnold) as well with Rivers retiring and Ben nearing the end of his career. -

If he does have a pinched nerve in the neck/shoulder area I wonder how much that will bother him. I remember Peyton saying that after neck surgery he could never throw a football the way he used to. Granted surgery is a bigger issue than a pinched serve but it can still cause problems for Mahomes especially with a foot/toe injury as well. -

I wanted Darnold over Allen so I also have no clue. Thankfully we have a GM who knows what he is doing. -

Definitely don't want that to happen. Both the Jets and Fins have what it takes to make that trade. -

The best part about reading this thread is a reminder how the other AFCE teams all need a QB and we don't. "F" the Jets, Pats ,Fins. 6-0 in the division this year was sweet. To answer this thread I will say the Jets take Fields at #2. -
Allen vs. Mahomes....the newest AFC Rivalry

You could actually make a case that during their dynasty nobody from the division was a rival to the Pats. Early on it was the Colts and Ravens then the Steelers and Broncos who played big regular season and playoff games against them. The Giants were a bigger pain in the ass to them as well for beating them twice on the biggest stage. -
Over at the the ganggreen.com forum in the main New York Jets section they have a thread titled "SAD - JETS AND BILLS WERE IN THE SAME BOAT". It seems like "big brother" is jealous of "little brother".

Especially for a team that has trouble running the ball.

Eating one wing is like eating one potato chip. It can't be done. -
Win or lose they had a great season. Let's be honest its going to hurt if they lose and we all know it. Two wins from a Super Bowl championship. As others pointed out there are no guarantees the Bills get back to this point. I think they will and I also think JA leads the Bills to a couple of Super Bowl championships when his career finally ends but that is just my opinion which means nothing.

But they are so close. I am going to be screaming my head off for them to win. May have to call in "sick" for work Monday as I expect many beers on Sunday night.

On the flip side of bad sequels I thought all three Expendables movies were all pretty good. As for bad sequels Caddyshack 2, Fletch Lives, Revenge of the Nerds to name a few.
