  1. The Jets are coming off a 2-14 season. If Joe Douglas has a strong offseason and if they get Watson then I could see them getting a primetime game or two just because of their big market NYC status. The Giants who suck almost as bad as the Jets will definitely get primetime games. Big market team and they are one of the NFL "favorite franchises" given their long history in the NFL.
  2. The last two years it was the Bills and Steelers on SNF. Maybe SNF gets that matchup three years in a row. My guess is four primetime games when the schedule is released with the possibility of another one being flexed into primetime. I think the Bills and Dolphins is a solid bet for a primetime game since the Dolphins are the Bills biggest challenge in the division.
  3. Barry Bonds = steroid head during that time. So his stats don't count or at least have an * next to them. I hope Josh can have half the success Brady has had in his career.
  4. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/new-york-gov-cuomo-says-barclays-center-other-large-arenas-in-the-state-can-reopen-starting-feb-23/ar-BB1dzAWO?ocid=uxbndlbing Looks like fans will be able to attend Sabres games. Limited attendance for starters. He mentioned how things worked so well for the Bills playoff games as to a reason they can do this.
  5. I enjoyed this past season even though I wish the AFC championship game had a different outcome. Definitely looking forward to seeing what moves Beane makes to make the Bills a better team. The future is bright.
  6. Bills fans are a little underrated nationally. Everyone knows Bills fans are a hardcore bunch. Everyone knows WNY is crazy for the Bills. Everyone knows about Bills mafia. But from a national standpoint the media/fans always mention the Cowboys, Packers, Steelers, Bears, Giants are teams with national appeal that bring in strong ratings. This past season proved the Bills belong in that group despite being a small market team. All of the Bills primetime games this past season had strong ratings. Wasn't the Cowboys-Bills thanksgiving day the highest rated on turkey day. Dallas plays in that game every year but it took the Bills being in it to bring up the ratings. Bills fans also travel well. I can tell you as a Jets season ticket holder the Bills have always been well represented at Shea, Giants Stadium, and now MetLife. If the Bills had made the Super Bowl the ratings would have been a lot higher IMHO.
  7. I agree with you 100%. 1:00 games are great. Get to the stadium and tailgate all morning. Watch the game and then you get home at decent hour. My guess is the Bills will get four primetime games when the schedule comes out in April. Some of them will be at home. Getting to the stadium on a work or school day can be a hassle. Getting home late and having to wake up early the next day for work/school is not fun. Have to get used to it with the Bills being a very good team.
  8. Sundays at 1:00 is my favorite time for a Bills game to start. The problem is if the Bills have 16 of them then they suck again. Having a bunch of primetime games is a great thing since that means the Bills are good.
  9. Five if you count the Saturday game vs Denver. KC was supposed to be on a Thursday but got moved to Tuesday. The Pats and 49ers were MNF and SNF vs the Steelers. My guess is the Bills get four when the schedule comes out and could be flexed to five just like last year. I also think the Bills get a bunch of national games on Sunday afternoon that the entire country gets to watch. No flying under the radar anymore.
  10. Just like TB the Chiefs have a pretty strong home schedule for primetime games. Non-division is the Steelers, Browns, Cowboys, Giants, Bills. I wouldn't be surprised if its Browns-Chiefs as that is another playoff rematch.
  11. Flyers - Caps game for tonight is PPD as Philly now has virus issues. The Devils next 4 games are PPD and they won't be allowed back into the facility until Feb 16th. This NHL season is a mess. The NBA seems to be doing a better job managing this. The NHL should look into what they are doing.
  12. From a primetime standpoint TB has a pretty good home schedule. Non division home schedule is the Cowboys, Giants, Bills, Dolphins, Bears. Buffalo and Miami are good plus three big market teams that have national appeal and bring in strong ratings.
  13. If we get week one primetime I could see Bills at Chiefs either SNF or MNF. Most likely the league will have the Bills and Jets open up week one for what seems like the 100th time in a row.
  14. Maybe having a week one Bills at Chiefs would be a good thing then. Good chance it would get either SNF or MNF.
  15. Hockey more than any other sport depends on ticket sales and money generating from people being in the arena. The other sports want that as well but the NFL, MLB, NBA have stronger TV deals that have helped them more than what the NHL gets during these times. Even though the NFL took a hit this year I would bet they still made money.
  16. Hopefully the fans can return. If things get back to normal I could imagine the demand for Bills tickets both seasons and individual. They will probably be sold out for the season very quick. Throw in the fact that it will be two years since fans attended a game except for the lucky ones who went to the playoff games. Demand for tickets will be extremely high.
  17. Buddy Hackett?
  18. Lou Costello?
  19. Pick anything from 1977. If that doesn't do it for you then nothing will.
  20. You mean like when the Devils used to play at the Brendan Byrne which was in the Meadowlands Complex with the Jets and Giants.
  21. Isn't the Rock bringing back the XFL? Maybe the quality of play this time can be better. Its something to watch while we go thru a long NFL offseason.
  22. That and the Bucs D was getting after Mahomes all night.
  23. As a Bills fan I don't like him for all the years he torched the Bills but Brady is the GOAT. He may be the GOAT of all GOATS in all of sports. To do what he is doing at 43 is something we probably won't ever see again.
  24. Yup. Need to build up the trenches on both sides of the ball. You saw it last night how TB made Mahomes uncomfortable in the pocket. The Giants did the same thing to Brady twice in the big game. The Ravens during the Lewis era gave Brady trouble as well with their front 4. The Bills need a better front 4 that can get to the QB. Need to improve the OL as well. Tampa was able to run the ball on the Chiefs which made for a balanced offense. Beane has his work cut out for him but we are getting there. The Bills are close and I think they will win a SB within the next 3-4 years but hopefully sooner.
