  1. Spread is what 2.5 - 3. Take the Chiefs and give the points. Grandpa I mean Brady isn't winning a shootout against Mahomes. If he throws 3 INT's again this will be a KC blowout.
  2. Agree. Have to wait until the draft and FA are over to get an idea of how tough the schedule can. Even then injuries take place in training camp, preseason that could change everything.
  3. They have tasted it in the summertime when they watch their POS Royals play.
  4. The Bills and Jets have opened against each other 14 times in their history. From a Jets POV they have started a season against the Bills more than any other opponent. I know this because despite being a Bills fan I am a Jets season ticket holder. Last year before their week one matchup the Jets sent out a tweet to all season ticket holders saying this.
  5. Congrats to your wife and Coach Rivera. Cancer sucks. Hopefully one day cancer can be defeated and everyone can beat it and get healthy.
  6. The Bills will probably open up against the Jets AGAIN. I think these two have played three out of the last 4 openers against each other. For some reason the league likes to have the Bills and Jets play week one.
  7. The Jets could put a better offer on the table than Miami. Either way their is a good chance he lands in the division.
  8. During that time (Pats dynasty) I bet nobody from the division made it to their top 5 rivals list for them. The Ravens, Colts, Steelers, Broncos, and even the Giants were their biggest rivals. The Bills, Jets, Dolphins were three little speed bumps the Pats drove over six times a year on their way to winning the division. Thankfully times have changed.
  9. Don't know if they have what it takes to make the trade but the Saints should be all over this. Brees is done and they have a strong team . They get Watson they are the favored to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl next year.
  10. Chiefs home schedule for 2021 (non-division opponents) is the Bills, Browns, Steelers, Cowboys, Giants. They could go with the Browns. A playoff rematch from a competitive game. It doesn't matter if the Steelers, Cowboys, Giants are good or bad. Those teams always get on primetime. Big market and/or teams with national appeal that bring in strong ratings. The Bills are certainly in the mix. They will definitely get their share of primetime games.
  11. The Chargers have a talented roster. Justin Herbert looks like the real at QB. With the good coaching I could see them giving the Chiefs a good battle for the division
  12. The Browns can run the ball and get QB pressure with their front four better than the Bills. That helped them stay in the game. If that receiver ( I forget who) didn't fumble the ball at the goal line the Bills might have played the Browns.
  13. Simple when NE and TB play, root for what's best for the Bills, and that's a Bucs win. Divisional losses by the Pats, Jets, Dolphins is always a good thing.
  14. What would you want him to say? He isn't going to reveal his plans going forward. He isn't going to throw anyone under the bus publicly. Beane and McDermott are pros at talking a lot but saying very little.
  15. Exactly. Look at the Bills teams of the early 90's. They were just as successful passing the ball as they were running it. Thurman was the key to the no-huddle. When he was having a good game that made Kelly's life so much easier throwing it to Reed, Lofton etc etc. Allen will be much more dangerous with a strong running game to compliment him. Plus you need to be able to run the ball at certain points in the game. 3rd and 1 to convert a first down. Have a lead late in the 4th you want to run it and control the clock. Sure its a passing league and Allen throwing is definitely a focal point of the offense but running the ball will always be needed.
  16. KC was/is a better team right now. The Bills had a fantastic season but their is a gap between the Chiefs and Bills that Beane/McDermott must close if the Bills want to beat KC in the playoffs. Even if the Bills scored a TD before half they still would have lost the game. KC outplayed them. Simple as that.
  17. Not surprised. We all knew the Cap would go down.
  18. Curious to see what the salary cap will be next year. The league did take a financial hit this year.
  19. I don't think anything playoff loss is easy to take as it puts you into a long offseason. If I had to pick one I would pick Jacksonville a couple of years ago. That Bills team wasn't very good but they got in at 9-7 with some help from the Bengals. I was just happy to see them get in and end the streak. I had no expectations of a playoff run that year.
  20. Obviously they had a great season and a lot of the talent is in place especially at the most important position. But there are concerns with this roster which have been pointed out by many posters. They need to upgrade the lines on both sides of the ball. Next season they have to have a more balanced offense as they were one dimensional this year. Think of how much more dangerous Allen can be with a running game. Defensively they need to do a better job in rushing the passer. I do think the future is bright with Beane and McDermott though. Hopefully Beane can make the necessary moves to improve this roster to help them take that next step and win a Super Bowl. This offseason with the draft and FA figures to be an interesting one.
  21. True but Allen can throw a football farther than a 5 year old. I am not so sure about Tua.
  22. I disagree on Flores. He has done a nice job rebuilding the Fins. I hope he fails obviously but I don't think so. He does have a QB problem (IMHO) as I don't see Tua as the answer.
  23. I still go back to that play inside the 10 where he had an opportunity to run it in. He needs to take his share of responsibility for this loss.
  24. If I am McDermott and the CS I would watch tape of Raiders-Chiefs games this offseason. They were the one team to beat KC not counting that season finale where KC rested starters. The Raiders seem to give them fits more than most teams. Take a page from what the Raiders do when they play KC.
  25. Rodgers does have one Super Bowl championship with GB. I would sign up for Josh winning one with the Bills.
