  1. Tipster and T Master aren’t the same person???
  2. I’ve probably made my point. I was really hoping it was gonna be good Bc it was behind a paywall. Instead we got dressed up dime store analysis.
  3. You should absolute be spending first round picks on the highest value positions (aka positions you will 100% pay if they become Pro Bowlers). That includes QB, EDGE/pass rusher, LT, CB, WR. It's why first rounders on safeties, LB's, OGs is a poor long term strategy even if the pick hits. However, this article doesn't show that, at all. It tries to make a somewhat valid point but doesn't have the legs to do so. Hilariously enough: This is completely wrong. 21 LB's have a cap hit over $4M in 22. 4 LB's with less than $4M cap hit are on rookie deals. Goes to show you why he showed the top 5 players in a graphic (not informative at all and unrelated to his point) instead of the actual data of the position . This make ZERO sense. He basically went through all the players that may not justify draft position, then said the percentage is about the same as EVERY OTHER POSITION. lmao. lol. I would barely pay 50 cents for this article. Article sucks. Not worth a dollar.
  4. Are there any more Diamond in the rough articles from this guy? ”why it doesn’t make sense to draft a QB high in the first, exhibit A: Tom Brady.”
  5. I mean this is hilarious. He says it 40%, similar to every 1st round pick, then judging if the second year players are going to justify fifth year options? lmao, what an analysis that is a complete waste of time when his own numbers flaunt his conclusion. Also hilarious to include a dude out of football for off the field concerns. I can’t wait for the “first round WR’s are risky” article from the Atlantic because Henry Ruggs killed someone.
  6. And if he throws it a little more outside, Hyde also can’t make that play. I stand by that it’s not as simple as arm strength.
  7. Jones pump faked but it didn’t fool Hyde. I think it’s extremely oversimplifying it by saying it’s just arm strength is the difference between the two plays. Micah’s play was unreal.
  8. Yeah sure that would have helped. A more accurate ball would’ve helped too. Josh threw a dart but it was well behind Sanders. Good thing he was open and the ball got there fast. Hyde is also in position because of the defensive alignment. Josh was throwing against single coverage outside. Jones was not. The Pats safety was nowhere close. Hyde made a great play but he was also helping over the top. The DB had no such help against Sanders. You can even see the safety 20 yards away.
  9. Lol I mean sure, but Mac’s ball a little more accurately placed outside is a TD. And Sanders was way more open.
  10. https://twitter.com/adamschefter/status/1512807191731912711?s=21&t=9Fjnb2zu5pUl9NU0ntZt_w
  11. No he wouldn't but he would be included in this part: "Only 55.4% (n = 173/312) of players returned to play after ACLR." I wouldn't be surprised if the 45% of players who didn't return were fringe players a la Zimmer. Best ability is availability and all that. And if a player like Zimmer was re-signed, we would probably be bringing in replacement level players who could easily take his job. Put another way, if Zack Moss tore his ACL, we would likely sign another RB who would get his snaps. If that RB was even mediocre, he would probably result in Moss losing snaps and AV. It's no surprise that positions that have a lot of "filler players" like RB, DL and LB experience the most drop off after injury. There's a million of STers and 4th DLmen in the NFL. Not so many QB's,
  12. I think the point is he may have gotten some kind of a contract here or elsewhere had he not been injured. Instead, his entire career is on life support. The impact of the injury on performance doesn’t even matter.
  13. Most players are probably out of the league after an ACL because teams don’t want to keep a roster spot for a rehabbing player who isn’t an impact player. If Dane Jackson tore his ACL instead of Tre, instead of “keeping his roster spot warm for him” we would just find a replacement player.
  14. The XFL is calling
  15. Folks said that a lot about 2017 too.
  16. If your argument is he won't really help the Pats because he's not available much, then he ALSO won't really hurt the Dolphins either. This is obvious.
  17. So it won't hurt the Dolphins then lol
  18. Sure tell me how it hurts the Dolphins but doesn't help the Pats. lmao
  19. A hilarious comment
  20. Excellent post. Sanders was a pickup I didn’t feel too strongly about last year because he is a guy too similar to the skill sets of Davis and Diggs. We need a guy that can take a 5 yard flare pattern and run around the defender to get 10 or 15. Guys like that are the “missing link” in our offense.
  21. It just “seemed” like that happened. Just like how I “seem” to get funnier, smarter and better looking with age.
  22. Strong praise for a fifth round pick who has proven nothing at the NFL level. Why him and not Isaiah Hodgins?
  23. They have the second best record in the NFL since McVay took over. Been to the SB twice. Without a top 5 QB. What's your definition of sustainable?
  24. 31 teams were failures I guess last year.
  25. Rams continue to ball out in spite of their "mortgaging the future, they'll crash and burn" predictions made so many years ago. But at least we have pick #25!
