  1. Yeah it never worked for the Rams!
  2. They should send Baker a thank you card for forcing the Browns to go all in on Watson
  3. Von may get 48 on his own. I like the over.
  4. That was his first year. Edmunds is going into his fifth year. The Bills brass raced to pay Milano. They are letting Edmunds twist in the wind before committing to him. That should be all you need to know.
  5. Thank you. the only thing more annoying that the “haters” are the folks that can not seem to believe that Edmunds has a ton of bad plays on tape. That his negative plays are always the product of another player. Edmunds gets toasted in coverage? Well the pass rush didn’t get there. Edmunds blocked out of a run play? Well the DL got tangled up. Bites hard on play action and gets the ball tossed over his head on a crosser? Well everyone else is playing bad against the run. How many times has it been argued that Milano has suffered from a poor DL hanging him out to dry? Legitimately could be zero on TBD, because MILANO HAS A TON OF POSITIVE PLAYS. Somehow Edmunds is the only defender that is so grossly affected by poor DL play or no safety help or power run schemes or misdirection or play action. If Edmunds was a QB, he’d be Baker Mayfield today.
  6. AJ Epenesa should be buying as many McDonald's franchises as he can afford.
  7. I'm sorry, but we wouldn't be picking up his fifth year option and waiting on an extension if the Bills brass was completely enamored with his play. I don't think they hate him or think he sucks, but they aren't ready to back up the Brinks truck for him, which honestly, based on his draft status and physical gifts, they should've been. I completely agree. There are guys in the league who are playmakers and pop off the field and guys that aren't. There's a dearth of impact plays when it comes to Edmunds. If he was a 3rd rounder, he wouldn't be so routinely debated. But he was a tradeup. There are a ton of guys who don't rely entirely on their physical gifts to play football. Those guys tend to have longer careers. Guys that are really only in the league because of what they bring to the table physically tend to wash out once they start to slow down, either due to age or nagging injuries.
  8. Edmund's problems are between the ears, not physical. He's like one of those QB's that is a physical specimen, but gets happy feet or panics with pressure or can't feel the pocket etc. A position change will honestly make it worse. It's depressing in the sense that an instinctual LB should be eating offenses alive in McD's scheme. It's why Milano outperforms him every year as a much lesser athlete. When Milano picks the right gap and shoots it, he makes the play. Edmunds mostly picks the wrong gap, gets trapped in the gap, or washed out in the run. Milano in 71 games played and 54 starts has 45 TFL's. Edmunds in 61 games and starts has 26. That's ROUGH. Even SCARIER, Milano has 31 QB hits in his career. Edmunds has 15. Edmunds hit a QB ONCE last year. Some of that is based on what plays are called. But the MLB who runs a 4.5 and is the size of Gronk should be able to blitz and touch the QB more than ONCE.
  9. That’s not true and that’s silly. Edmunds is a disappointment. But he’s not the worst MLB in the NFL. If your goal is to win a Super Bowl in the next two years, you don’t create a hole at inside linebacker.
  10. Trading Edmunds would be contingent on signing an instant upgrade.
  11. Wrong Josh was before they played though. Go down the list of folks the board crapped on that played for the Bills for 3-4 years? Kelsay, Spiller, Whitner, Duke Williams, Fitz etc etc. List goes on and on.
  12. That’s honestly the hallmark of a mediocre player. Only the lunatic fringe ***** about Josh or Diggs, if half the board hates you, you probably aren’t good.
  13. The Bengals are funny bc if you’re their GM/HC are you going to make shorter term moves because you think you could repeat that run or longer term moves because you think it was flukey. Tough spot to be in.
  14. Bro they escalated it first by going for Watson and being sketchy. Eff the Browns. They deserve another 15 years of being a poverty franchise.
  15. Will be cut next year. Tough to pay a guy that much for 6 good games. Good luck
  16. We do “need” to go out and spend money. We do not have an edge rusher on the roster. How do you swing for the fences with a draft pick? I don’t hate the signing. I think the OP is insane.
  17. Incredible advantage in FA. Just stupendous. We get some more geriatric patients and the honor to cut them their last check before they retire, unlike the Bears or the Jets. I mean, this is why you become a contender.
  18. We haven’t even acquired Landry and Saffold is 1000 years old, so what the ***** are we even talking about? Saffold doesn’t want to end his career on the Jets? That’s the big win?
  19. Per schefty Jag alert
  20. Are we allowed to say that the OP was completely inane then about how Buffalo is this sudden FA destination that can’t afford FA’s?
  21. Only @Shaw66 could take a victory lap on FA because we used our distinct advantage to sign a geriatric guard.
  22. Your realistic hope is so sad. What’s your pessimistic outcome? The NFL folds?
  23. Look how far every other team has gone with Keenum.
