  1. There are some interesting names there to pair with a rookie (that you might want to trade up for). You have to think this went into Beane's decision making process.
  2. The longer they sit out there the cheaper they'll be. Thomas + trade up 1st round WR is more interesting to me than OBJ, but I wouldn't hate it.
  3. In that (awful, in my opinion) scenario, I'd hope they'd trade up to 29-31 to leapfrog the Chiefs, who are going to be the beginning of the 2nd run on WRs.
  4. They weren't wrong in the pure football discussion of it, it made little sense to move on. BUT if you factor in the seemingly undeniable off the field / "diva" complaints, then it makes sense.
  5. Elam wouldn't add much to the compensation, he's probably worth a 5th-6th round pick at this point due to his 1st round rookie salary.
  6. It's massive because that dead cap would be paying Diggs (minus 3 mil), and now you don't have that on a player. That being said, I don't think it's wrong if all this reporting is true. Diggs is a great player but we need guys on the same page as Allen. Whatever falling out they might have been unfixable. Hopefully we move up a draft a top 3-4 WR this draft and continue to invest in the room.
  7. There is no dead cap on a traded player the season after. All dead cap gets moved to the year they were traded. It's one of the reasons people thought he couldn't be traded, the Bills have taken on a massive dead cap hit but have cleared the books (saving 25ish mil) next season.
  8. If the Bills did nothing (not even drafted) and came into next season with exactly what they have I still think they have a great chance (I'll put it at 70% arbitrarily) to win the division. This is the year to retool if there ever has been one.
  9. It's impossible to know right now, so I gave it a C. The receiving core is obviously worse as of right now but I got to think the Bills have a plan.
  10. In a vacuum I'd prefer to double dip but I don't want to go into the season without an established presence in that room. So I guess I want a trade up. I see them going Brian Thomas and then drafting another in the 4th, along with some kind of veteran trade or signing.
  11. Personal insults and reviving dead threads... Must be a really fulfilling day you're having.
  12. It was still a clown take. Nothing you said has been verified. But by all means, strut on.
  13. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but this makes Diggs have 0 effect on the cap next year. All the dead money is pushed to this season.
  14. Brian Thomas makes the most sense for the Bills. It's a more realistic trade up.

    lol. They'll still be fine.
  16. Agreed, unless they have another trade in mind for an established #1 in the league. I don't know if there's anyone available I'd be super excited about though.
  17. We can argue whether or not it's a good decision, but it is freaking wild. Fun offseason now. Two WRs early? Another Trade incoming? Just nutty. Thanks Diggs for everything.
  18. Davis played something like 90% of offensive snaps. It's a greater need.
  19. I don't think this is going to fix much, and it's ultimately going to end up a "dead play" with teams opting to just put the ball on the 30 instead of risking a big play since returners are going to be much more talented then the caliber you see in the XFL (which seems like they get to the 30 most of the time anyways).
  20. I think it's unlikely he will have as good as a stat line as he did in Baltimore with Miami. He didn't have a good statline with Baltimore.
  21. I think he'd be a good fit. I'd love to head into the draft with another DT signed (mainly so Beane and McD are less tempted to get one early).
  22. I'm starting to think the WRs are getting so much buzz that the top 8-9 will be gone before the Bills pick. I think in that situation I'd want them to trade down, but it'd hurt.
  23. No one in Detroit would ever make that trade.
  24. I'd really like Beane to bring some Miller insurance in like we did with Floyd last season. If Miller ends up back to form, you get a 1-2 punch. If not, you have a solid starter opposite Rousseau. I'd love to see Groot not need that kind of help, but he hasn't taken that step from "reliable DE" to "star DE".
