How illegal would it be for Beane to wager players with the GM of the phins based on the outcome of the game? -Buffalo loses, the phins get Benford, Cook, and Spencer Brown. -Buffalo wins, the phins give up Waddle & Jaelan Phillips. Just a fun thought. The phins should be tanking this game, so I think this will be a good opportunity to get the rookies more playing time and cohesion on defense.

11/2/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs 4:30pm Post Game Thread

Bosa had a monster game. 10 hurries and a sack. He’s someone I’d love the Bills to extend for another two seasons before he gets too expensive. -

I was shocked at the lack of roughing calls. There were definitely a few borderline hits -

Losing Hoecht tonight makes the win bittersweet. He’s looked exceptional and without him our pass rush won’t be nearly as effective -
My grandparents lived right by campus and we would always get to meet players. It was so casual then. My parents would go to Coughlan's and see a ton of players there. Hell my dad was an electrician and even got some extra work from hanging out there.

I heard he was recovering well but then he dove head first into his physical therapist. The dude just can't help himself.

For some reason I doubt it was as mutual as they're saying... "Chris, you're bad at your job" "Yeah you're totally right" "You should probably quit" "Yeah for sure"

I wasn't really even making an evaluation of how good or bad I think the Bills are, just that the mathematical model is reactionary. It's an okay correlate measure for success, but it's not necessarily predictive of future results. The Bills are a decent football team. Probably not the best, but also not as bad as a lot of folks think they may be. I'm happy to just see where the chips fall here. It's frustrating that they aren't the world beaters we thought they could be, but that's just sports.

KC's a pretty good team. The Bills are a pretty good team. It's likely one of them is going to win. Hopefully it's the Bills. That's pretty much where I'm at. Trying to take any of the emotion out of it.

That feels a little melodramatic. I think a WR1 should rightfully be the priority at the trade deadline. It's the easiest thing to fix with a single player, but I don't think it'll be as impactful of a swing as you're saying. We need to see Brady get more creative and scheme guys better than what he's currently doing.

Elite coaching can mask poor WR cores. Elite playmakers can mask poor coaching. Josh has middle tier coaching with poor playmakers (in the WR room, mainly outside). Of course it’s not going to look right. Allen is probably the best QB we’ll ever have in our lifetime, but he’s not a magician.

10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers 2nd Half game thread

Just want to remind everyone that there were a bunch of people on this board who thought the game would be harder with Dalton in at QB. To them I say: LOL. -

I can’t tell from the broadcast but the fact that Allen is back there for 5-6 seconds and nobody is open is so alarming. It’s either that or Brady’s scheme is so bad that it’s impossible to be open. This might be the worst WR core in the league by a huge margin. I don’t say that lightly. -
I'm not gonna waste anymore time with this but that's a hell of a logical leap. Have a good one.

How is it tipping your hat? What information are you getting from "I have a plan" vs. "I have no idea what we're doing"? Because one makes you sound more confident? The fact of the matter is it probably doesn't change much whoever we have at backup safety, and if the Panthers are spending cycles gameplanning around that particular player I'd be shocked. I don't really dislike McD. It's weird that you're being so argumentative and trying to force a narrative.
-
Nobody said he had to tell anyone who's going to be starting, even though we're all almost positive it'll be Poyer. He doesn't have to sound like a buffoon and say "uh we don't know who we're starting yet". Saying, "we know who will step in" has the exact same effect.

McD is one of the worst media coaches, I don't know if it's nerves or what, but he constantly says weird stuff that just invites speculation.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
Bruffalo replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is my feeling as well. He's being used for jump balls and only jump balls. Let him run a slant and use his big body to box out the CB, or a post across the field. I've praised a lot of what Brady's done but I think he's not being creative or varied enough with the WR usage. The last two games feel like evidence of that. -

I'd give them a first. You got to pay more in division obviously. It won't happen, but it'd be fun. And they should throw in McDaniel to be our passing coordinator / next up OC. -
Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Bruffalo replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would rather have current Terrell Owens back than Ray Ray. He was one of my least favorite Bills of the last decade, so frustrating to watch.
