Not at all, and it’s just semantics, but since it’s all on a message board the way you word it is important. Everyone wants him on the field, but you sound like one of those guys who was ready to get rid of Josh after his first year, or wanted to fire McDermott because they lost 2 in a row, or thought they should’ve tanked instead making the playoffs in McDermott’s first year. Not saying you said/did any of those things, but you definitely could’ve expressed your frustration differently, that’s all

Week 16: Sunday Games Around the League
Ya Digg? replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m actually amazed at how many easy throws Mahomes misses, as well as throws where guys have to wait for the the ball instead of him leading his receivers more. Don’t get me wrong he is still one of the best 2 quarterbacks in the game, but his accuracy isn’t as good as what many think it is -
Week 16: Sunday Games Around the League

Absolutely not, terrible take. Teams need to adapt to the situation. The Browns had 4 receivers out and they adapted by having Baker throw 50+ times. No asterisks because teams play with stupid gameplans -
Sorry if this was already mentioned, but I just saw that the Seahawks had 4 guys from their historically bad defense make the pro bowl...how does that happen??

Kumerow claimed by Saints (now Waived by Saints)

Does this mean there’s now room for Da’Rick on this roster??? Imagine how good that guy would be with this QB!!!! -
Yes, at some point he is going to throw an interception in the red zone. He better hit 50 total touchdowns before that first interception happens though or we should start looking at QB’s in the draft

Poyer Pro Bowl Snub - Stats on how he stacks up and Poll
Ya Digg? replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So if I remember reading correctly Poyer was leading the fan vote, so this came down to the player and coach vote. The guys who got in over him got in because of name recognition. Even amongst players and coaches that’s going to be a big thing. It’s ironic to see Simmons make it as you watch him get turned around about 6 times on Motor’s touchdown the other day. I will admit I have a huge bias against Fitzpatrick, I think he has benefitted GREATLY behind that defensive line (he wasn’t that food playing in Miami) and just haven’t watched enough of Matthieu to know anything about him this season -
Diggs first team all-pro chances?
Ya Digg? replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So I think Hill gets it over Diggs simply because he brings attention to himself. He does a lot of stupid things on the field (for example, the backflips into the end zone, the peace sign as he is about to score, etc) but this season has been able to back it up with touchdown receptions. The voters don't think this way but they should - would Hill have even close to as many touchdowns and splash plays if he didn't play on the same team as Kelce and Mahomes? You certainly have to account for his speed and my Bills homerism is certainly playing into this but I think Diggs has done more and deserves the first team all pro more than Hill -
People get penalized all the time for doing their jobs well...they get more work piled on, they are given more responsibilities (all with your boss's expectations of not giving you a raise or a promotion). Getting penalized for doing your job well is not something that is new, and not something that applies just to sports This is only true because his division is terrible. If he was in another division with that record his team would already be eliminated

Minshew an option as backup QB?

Yeah but do we really want to create a QB controversy??? -
Predict Josh Allen's Next Contract
Ya Digg? replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Josh takes less, it’s not going to be significantly less and it shouldn’t be. It’s not up to Josh to put together a competitive team, that’s up to the front office. We need to stop using Brady as the example. Just because Mahomes, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, etc signed big contracts does not mean they weren’t team oriented guys. If you ever listen to players around the league, they never want guys to take less money. Fans are always screaming for guys to take less money but let’s be honest, I fan truly understands how the salary cap works-if they did they would be working for an NFL team. Let Josh get paid every dollar he can get and let the front office guys do their job and structure these contracts so the players can get paid -
So is the premise because he has better stats or because the Bills aren’t a ground and pound team, they throw the ball more? If the Bills go on the road it’s not like they are likely to go play in a dome or in nice weather. KC, Pittsburgh, Tennessee (while not terrible not an ideal place to go play in January) so I’m not really understanding why anyone would want them to play away games...doe that incredibly slim chance they might get to play Indy in their dome for one game then have to go on the road to cold weather cities after that?

Like I said I know that I am nitpicking, my point is Kelce is so much more than a security blanket-he runs every route possible, he goes deep, he does everything...I just think that Kelce was the wrong example to use when it was said that Josh doesn’t need a guy to go deep or be a playmaker-that’s exactly what Kelce is. I guess it all comes down to what you think a security blanket is-to me, Kelce is so much more than a security blanket, that’s all I was trying to say and probably shouldn’t pick the best or second best tight end in the league as the example
-
Sorry I know that I'm nitpicking, but are you calling Kelce nothing more than a security blanket for Mahomes? The guy who leads the entire league in receiving yards (as a tight end no less) is much more than a security blanket....should probably think of a different tight end than Kelce if you're looking for just a security blanket. If he's not the top tight end in the league, he's a very close second to Kittle

I don’t think you understand how this works-for some of these blowhards when they same someone is playing bad you are only allowed to count the bad games and take other ones (like the New England game) completely out of context. I’m pretty sure this Nick Wright guy believes Josh has had 3 really bad games and then like 10 lucky ones

The Steelers also have one of the biggest fan bases in the league

Week 14 SNF: Bills Whoop Steelers PostGame Thread
Ya Digg? replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Home is NEVER a disadvantage. It’s not just the game, it’s everything up until the game. You know how the field plays better, you don’t have to travel and stay in a hotel-there’s a ton of reasons why you want home field advantage, even in a season like this with no fans -
Week 14 Bills vs Steelers SNF PreGame Thread
Ya Digg? replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So I think this is where the national narrative is a pain. Someone could read your statement and think that the only reason why the Bills have a shot is because the Steelers have injuries. That may or may not be exactly what you’re saying. I only say this because an earlier thread this week talked about this being the biggest win of the season and how the Bills need a signature win, but if the Bills win because the Steelers have so many guys out, then the discussion is still “yeah the Bills have all these wins, but...” almost kind of how people are now looking at all of the Steelers wins. pwrsonally I think the Bills have a great shot of winning and still would have a great shot of winning even if all of those guys weren’t injured. And no, I don’t care about the national narrative, but it does get a little old after a while -
Week 14: Steelers at Bills on SNF
Ya Digg? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ll give it to you that Pittsburgh getting their bye much earlier in the season definitely sucks for them, but Buffalo’s situation through their whole ordeal was worse. At least Pittsburgh knew who they were going to play-the Bills had to prepare for two teams at the same time, one of them being the Super Bowl champions! Definitely no sympathy for Pittsburgh at all-they still got their bye, just much earlier than they planned -
Josh Allen Surpasses Russell Wilson in MVP Odds
Ya Digg? replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think I’m on board with this, and would probably rank Josh above Mahomes. Don’t get me wrong Mahomes is great and is a special talent, but to be honest at times I have been underwhelmed by him. Every QB misses throws, but I have seen him miss some pretty easy throws very badly. He had one to Hardman a couple of weeks ago where there was broken coverage and Hardman was WIDE open and would’ve gone for like an 85 yard touchdown, but Mahomes’s throw wasn’t even close to him. I do think it is easier for him to put up the stats he does because of the amount of talent he is able to throw to. It will be I retesting to see what he has to throw to in a couple of years when his contract fully kicks in. But this is why I would put Rodgers and Allen above him. They have to carry their offenses. I’m not sure that Mahomes has to do as much heavy lifting as those 2 do -
Who is more instrumental in building the Bills?
Ya Digg? replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does one need more credit than the other? Why isn't both a choice? Sorry, questions like this bother me because we have this need to feed people's egos. They both do their jobs really well, that's why the team is having so much success
