Look the D didn’t have their most consistent day and Jefferson got his, as he does pretty much every week, and given that we had two corners out almost guaranteed JJ was going to be a factor. the worst play of the day by the defense, which you don’t even mention, was the 81 yard run by Cook. But the defense made stops when they had to to give Allen a chance to win. Twice. Sorry I will not scapegoat the defense today. It’s on Allen.

see you can’t just dismiss points allowed with a hand wave like this and expect anyone to take you seriously. Points allowed matters (it matters the most, actually.) throwing inexcusable picks and dropping passes also puts the offense in a hole. One of their own making.

KC barely beat a TENN team with a rookie backup at QB. A TENN team the Bills destroyed with their starter in. CIN is one of the teams cited as playing “good to great” right now? I guess. They did beat a Carolina team that has already fired their coach, traded their star and has packed it in for the season. exactly. Not all drafted players work out for the team that drafted them. Some are just bad pro players, bad personalities, or bad fits. No GM in the league, past or present, has hit 1.000 in the draft, not even close.
