I hope we see a good bit of Neal /Marlow out there to spy Action Jackson. That should be their ONLY assignment.

Ravens Pat Ricard: does he look like a Problem?

Put Oliver on him in coverage, throw them all off. -
McDermott floats turning to Christian Wade
DCofNC replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wade either makes the roster or goes home next year, it’s pretty much that simple, hope he can make something of his opportunity to be honest. -
Wow, I wonder how that all transpired, seems like odd timing.

Bills signing Kicker for playoffs, in case of emergency

I thought they would carry one all year to be honest, really surprised they changed it this long. -
Most unbelievable throw from Allen Saturday
DCofNC replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great description on Maholmes. He’s a freaking wizard with the ball. I don’t mean to take anything away from Rodgers, he has an incredible arm, I just feel he needs a little more push to zing the ball than you see with JA and Maholmes. Rodgers has outstanding body control and mechanics, he uses leverage/torsion etc, to maximize his ball and it is effortless for him, but you can visually see he uses his base/body more for it. Allen’s transformation has been nothing short of amazing. His off platform accuracy this year is insane. He wasn’t able to put balls on guys from a clean pocket last year and this year he threads needles while falling out of bounds on the opposite side of the field. -

I agree with what you are saying here. I honestly do feel JA is the most physically gifted Athlete at QB in the NFL right now and I’d go so far as to say, I can’t recall ever seeing anyone with more raw talent ever, that actually panned out anyway. It’s not that Rodgers can’t make all the same throws, but he puts more into them than Allen and Maholmes do. Maholmes throws from angles that seem to defy physics and Allen doesn’t need a base under him to throw virtually any pass he wants, those two are in another universe as far as unorthodox plays. Stafford had/had a rocket launcher, but again, more an on platform guy and Herbert doesn’t appear to be quite the same level as the big dogs, but he certainly has a top 5 ish arm. -
John Brown need you to step up going forward
DCofNC replied to ILBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, if the WR group is as banged up as they looked last week, put Stills out there even if it’s just to run deep and drag defenders away. You will have to take a shot to him to make them respect it, but I definitely want to see him out there. With him running deep, Diggs and Brown will have more mid range freedom and hopefully that allows them to move the ball better. At bare minimum, McKenzie needs to get back out there or if he can’t, use Stills in his role, speed kills. -
Tomlin lost all respect from me last night, what an AWFUL game he called. The 4th down puss out handed the game away, but don’t let the fact he went for 2 when it wasn’t necessary and then took the 1 when you absolutely go for 2, then came back to go for 2 in the same situation, after already screwing the pooch all be forgotten. He sucked. Pssh, we haven’t had the run game all year, can’t take away what we don’t have.

No matter how you look at it, from here on out it’s Murder’s Row. The Ravens could pound the rock right down our throats and end the year for the Bills. Up next is with KC, who I regard as the clear cut favorite to win it all or the Brownies, which would be a dream come true, they are going to need all the breaks again to make it happen (screw the Steelers btw). If some how you manage to make it past all of that, you are playing the best team in the NFC. I suspect the Pack. Nothing will be easy. It’s time for the D to step it up and control the game the way they did last year. The Onhad better get back to what they do and put some serious points on the board, no more trying to force the run, we know it’s not going to work. Set up the run with the pass, the team isn’t good enough to set up the pass with the run.

Will Deshaun Watson get traded? Could he land in AFCE?
DCofNC replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seems to me they would have to give up Tua, both firsts this year and more to make it happen, can’t believe Houston would be this dumb, but hey, take a look at the recent past.. -
This. You were up against the 30th ranked pass D and you tried to force the run against a strong run D. So basically you went your weakness vs their strength and did it repeatedly. The minute they went to the pass, success. It was damn near like he was trying to show his offense could run for his interviews and make it look as though he was the genius and Allen was the result of him, not the other way around. He better get his crap together for next week.

Credit to Leslie Frazier on that final possession
DCofNC replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We must be watching different guys, the only time I see him winning is peeling down the line to make tackles the LB fails to make. The rap on him was right, too small for DT, not twitchy or long enough for DE. -

Jets, Chargers request to interview Brian Daboll for HC
DCofNC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly feel the NFL should put a interview/hiring freeze on all teams until 1 week after the Super Bowl. Then nobody has to worry about their guy prepping for an interview rather than taking care of the business they are currently being paid for. -
Colts Running Game could limit Bills offense
DCofNC replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everyone and their brother is going to try to do this to the Bills, Chiefs, Packers, Saints, Bucs, ya know how successful it was this year? The worst record of the group was 11-5. I’ll take better than 2:1 odds on their plan failing. Their D has to be able to stop the Bills from scoring and their O has to be flawless to make it happen. How many times did the Bills think they could “keep Brady off the field and we have a chance?”. You have to play to win, not to not lose. -
Rhodes is not consistent, hasn’t been his whole career, he will have flashes, which is good enough for any weekly award, but Diggs will beat him like a drum.

Jets, Chargers request to interview Brian Daboll for HC
DCofNC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it’s in his best interest to get a job while he’s a hot commodity. The opportunities all have issues. Jets: just no SD: located in Cali Texans: Watson is unhappy, named his coach already, not getting him. Jax: Kahn Detroit: garbage all around Atl: Best team to take on, save Ryan or draft a guy, lots of weapons. Wicked division to deal w, but retirement will help out a lot. -

BOLD predictions for the NFL playoffs
DCofNC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stole my prediction! Ok, this is really more of a hope. Ideal scenario is KC getting taken out before we get to them. They are the clear favorite, I do think all 3 teams that could end up in KC present the biggest mismatch opportunity for them, I would ideally like to see Tenn take them out. The Bills will have to sell out to stop the run and leave Tre on an island, but it’s his time to shine, go get us to the Super Bowl kid. For this to happen, Bills have to beat the Colts, which I know isn’t a given, but the amount of people that think the Colts have a great chance to pull the upset, tells me we spank them this week. Then Pitt has to beat the Browns, which I think they will do with their starters playing. I believe with their injury issues the Steelers will be a tough, but manageable out for the Bills. They then have to deal with the Titans, which is the worst matchup for them IMO. The “good” part is its at home and in conditions where you have to feel better about selling out to stop the run. -
Nobody else has managed to stay on Diggs, I don’t see a run of the mill fringe starter having any luck.
-
The key tomorrow is stop the run. So to me Edmunds is huge, he has to keep Dillon in check, meet him in the hole and stand his ground. The O goes where Josh takes them, Brown will have a big first half.

Does Antonio Williams Get Activated for Playoffs??
DCofNC replied to billsfan61184's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Singletary has been uninspiring this year at best. Moss should see the bulk of the action, I’m not sure what the obsession with Singletary, he’s a fringe NFL player who’s only value is in small uses.
