Frankly I don’t give a rats azs about those teams, they had there own financial and management issues that kept them from continued success. BB & SM are trying to not go down the road of the flash in the pan type teams, I think that is pretty obvious by the way they conduct team business. They are in it for the long haul as it were.

The Bills have already changed from being a crappy team, and will continue that change if they don’t piss away every dime. Any smart team keeps some in reserve.

I know they will figure out how to do what needs be done, I suspect right off Murphy and Croft are going to be released, Jordan Phillips will cost 12, 13 million a year to keep, they will likely try to keep Shaq, and use some of Murphy’s money toward him. It will be entertaining to watch the maneuvering.

We could do something like that, but it’s a numbers game, how do we resign/ extend the players we should and have that much cash left over? As I was saying to resign/ extend the players we should, our cap space is almost gone. Go Bills!!!

This ^^^ Beane, I don’t think is the type to give any player 50 mil guaranteed on top of a yearly salary outside of a QB, just resigning/ extending the players we should will eat up the vast majority of our cap space, and that would include ridding ourselves of one TE, and one D lineman...I think we all know who those two will be. It “was” mostly because the Buffalo Bills sucked in most every facet of football ownership and football play, and did billsy stuff for the better part of twenty years, the team “was” not a winning or positive image for the league, and the league had no reason to advertise the organization during prime time, it’s that simple. Now that the ownership and coaching is tracking in an obviously positive direction the league will be more inclined to advertise the team. Its all image with the league, we now have a real QB, backed by a well run organization, and..., wait..., it’s coming, we are winning, and as we all know, winning fixes everything. It’s more of a case of leniency on the refs part, favoring some teams more than others, an example of this is the cowboys game, they hit Josh while he is sliding and the cowboys are given a warning, (video footage shown on this forum) not a penalty that should have been applied, again leniency, and that shows a favoritism that is not applied to all teams.
