I can see your view, I was just pointing out that it was not wholly surprising that only two teams interviewed him. -

BD has had a few less than stellar seasons as an OC, and it is fair to suggest that those performances may have been part of why only two teams asked for interviews for head coaching positions. We all want him to have more success, for very obvious reasons. For all any of us know BD may have his ducks in a row, and be on his way to pro football coaching stardom, I for one hope so. -

Not surprised, with his body of work being what it is, that and the belichick coaching tree being what it is... If Daboll can put together several more high win. Count seasons he will have a real chance, but not before then, jmo. -
What Lee says about Knox is diametrically opposed to a large number of posters here. I too like to bust Knox once in a while 😁. I like what he says about getting open as the key to being a good WR, Beasley ain’t fast, he is quick, and he gets open, combine that with what, hardly any drops, Beasley is way under rated. Nice interview, thanks for posting it, 👍

Had a girl friend with that name, so, yah, your right, no thanks... that and the neck injury, that’s a prove you can stay healthy contract imo, -
Bills prospect RB Javian Hawkins
Don Otreply replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both Singletary and Moss are #2s, they aren’t ever going to be #1s, although he is faster, Hawkins is as mentioned, undersized, we do not need a third #2 RB, it would be okay as Gunner said, as 6th or 7th round pick. If the offensive line and the RBs can get on the same page, our current talent will look much better, an improvement on the O line will be more beneficial as a whole. Although a bigger faster RB would be really nice to have... -
Being that they have rarely used him in how many years now... what purpose does he fill on the O and is that worth the money... Yeldon has been a good option that was virtually not used, so unless SM has a change planned for the RB group he is gone, to Yeldon’s credit, he made a bunch of money working out for a living, pretty good gig if I do day do myself,

Trade up or trade back in this year’s draft?
Don Otreply replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Being that player value is always subjective from team to team, and pick to pick, the best we can hope for is for Beane to be Beane and enhance the team with whatever action he takes. -
Spain did get to big for his britches and screwed the team, that is a given. That does not make what I said less true. We miss what he used to supply to the O line, and that needs to be replicated, the sooner the better. Pretty simple really.

This ^^^ The run game was for all intents an afterthought this past season, mostly because Allen and the receivers were ripping it up for the majority of the season, but even the running plays that were called were uninspired, and did not use the best abilities of the O line or the running backs. That and as much as no one talks about it, not having Spain, and a healthy Ford run blocking showed this past season. Look back to the season before last, the run play calling was substantially better on every level, as was the blocking. It is my hope that Beane’s appropriate kick in the pants that he delivered post season to those that are responsible for the drop off takes hold. Anyway, jmo.
