  1. Obviously OL isn't great, and Motor/Moss aren't game-breakers but these guys could be more successful. Plenty of blame to go around, but I put it mostly on Daboll. His lack of creativity and stubbornness to stick with a gamelan that isn't working is mind blowing. Gap/wham blocking, power/pulls/traps, more jet sweeps, counters etc. He sticks with his zone/stretch concepts that aren't executing right now. On top of that, it hinders our ability to have any semblance of balance or playaction, instead defenses know we are 1-dimemsional and gear up for the pass. Game is solely on Josh shoulders every single week. I think he's capable most weeks of getting the job done, but we could be so much more efficient and dynamic.
  2. I'd like to see how many OLs hold up on pass pro, consistently, when dropping back 50x and running only 10x a game. McDermott said the equivalent, we need better balance. I put this squarely on Daboll to scheme a better run game, and/or mix in the playaction and rollouts. I mean we only have a huge/mobile Qb, yet drop into shotgun for almost all our plays. We tried to come out in 12 personnel and playaction in 2nd half, but had a false start. This is what we need to be mixing in more of, get creative with formations, etc. way too much reliance on Josh talent this year, and just leaving our OL out to dry when the Dline glean pin their ears back and LBs can drop into their hook/curl zones
  3. Claypool is exactly type of WR we lack....downfield threat who can bail his Qb out on 50/50 passes and create chunk plays.
  4. Is this really good news? Ike likely now starts. I think the drop-off is minimal, but it's certainly not an upgrade. Couple that with Feliciano being our top backup C, and we are considerably thinner up front (no pun). Not a forgone conclusion that we make a trade. Only if this prompts us to find an upgrade at the IOL, then I'd agree it's best thing for the team.
  5. Unfortunate for Spencer, if he has to miss this week then assuming Williams back to RT. See if they go Cody or Ike at G, predict Cody
  6. Not good re: Spencer. Anyone here anything from Coach, ie: day to day or this week's game outlook?
  7. Pretty certain on Saturday preceeding game, ie: same timing if we were to call up a player from PS usually by 4pm preceeding a 1pm kickoff
  8. Get some running game and playaction going. Daboll setting up the playaction off that power/pulling guard. Let's get points right off the start!
  9. How? Either way, ball was spiked...1 sec or 2 sec, no matter. FG team was ready to come on field regardless
  10. All good, people are often quick to judge nowadays. Go Bills!
  11. What are we, I mean a few, making a big deal about? Unless someone has a pic of him drinking alcohol, or still out at the bar, then it's all speculation about nothing
  12. Have you not watched the 2nd half? Running the ball is the only success Seattle has had.
  13. Got ourselves a game again. This is usually when Pitt throws deep hoping for DPI. Feeling an INT
  14. I thought Coach was fired up at the refs for a different play? Refs missing the blatant false start....then showed Diggs on camera questioning it as well. Unless you're referring to something else
  15. Thanks @YoloinOhio Very good video/behind the scenes look at Taron and others, def worth the time to check it out!
  16. Haha agree. Hoe about if they didn't throw a phantom holding on Morse? 1st down run by JA. Pretty easy make up call
  17. Nfl needs to seriously reevaluate a billion dollar product with officiating
  18. Horrible horrible call on that roughing. He's lunging as Mahomes releases it
  19. Need to keep our Rbs involved in passing game.
  20. That is the easy excuse. Offense played bad across the board, and poor defensive penalties. Blocked punt or not, we were losing at that point and likely uphill battle regardless. Since then, it's been a better offensive balance and better decision making by Josh
  21. That was close to 1 sec remaining
  22. Andy Reid is aggressive, we need a stop right now. Make it #2
  23. Agree. If they are going to call back a huge 3rd down run, better be keeping this even
  24. Holding calls are judgement and they've gone both ways, agree it's been fairly even. Blatant false start missed on 1st drive tho, had Coach livid
