  1. Didn't realize there is a deadline to retire/say he needs personal time? Not saying that's what's happening, but there is no deadline for what I'm referring to.
  2. It's possible it's under consideration, but I'd think if that decision was made then he'd been moved to the non-injury list and free up a roster spot.
  3. Disagree with this 100%, it's one thing if coming back from injury...another altogether if he tested positive and has had no symptoms/impact on conditioning.
  4. That's big news, Wise is a key part of their DL.
  5. Because you can activate on gameday, not the same as IR
  6. Looks like Dion to me, but not 100% certain
  7. Not with the left side of their oline out...we will see, but 49ers look far superior.
  8. Mindful that Covid is not a math problem, but Dodson went on the covid list Dec 14th and Dion went on Dec 17th. I'm still hopeful Dion comes off the list tomorrow or Saturday, to travel with the team.
  9. Not that I've seen. No news can be good news though. Thinking optimistic for now, need him back this week.
  10. Agree, but the NFL just changed their "rules" again in the past week. In addition, with the 1st opportunity to enforce a "forfeit" or at least keep the game as scheduled, they decided to reschedule multiple games. I have a problem with that inconsistent enforcement. NFL set the original rules, just stick to that, or at the very least don't adjust them to make even more biased/subjective.
  11. Completely agree. I'm vaxxed + booster, everyone's personal choice, but NFL is definitely not "equally treating" this situation. Guidance from all health experts is to self quarantine for 10 days, vaxxed or not, if testing positive. NFL is too greedy to enforce forfeits, as they said they would prior to season, so easiest solution for them is to handle this in an unfair fashion. Either: 1. Enforce positive test quarantine equally amongst all players/teams and enforce forfeits OR 2. Drop all testing and covid requirements Anything in the middle, is just that and provides unfair/inconsistent enforcement of said "rules". Im not advocating any side, just be fair and consistent.
  12. Perhaps Feliciano? Mongo posted he was in getting treatment, and since out of hospital though
  13. Well said. Alot of good takes by you and @Alphadawg7 in this thread. I also have a great deal of respect for how Brown handled his post-game presser. Players can have off games and lots of pressure to put on a rookie against a good DL. At the end of day, he could have made excuses/etc. but owned his play. Beane and staff found a real good one in the 3rd round.
  14. Assuming Steelers lose to Chiefs, which puts them out of our way, we still need 2 of the 3 other AFC north teams to reach fewer than 10 wins. Up to you, but I think a Ravens win over Bengals creates an easier path to that goal.
  15. Great call!
  16. Boom, there you go!
  17. One more shot! Carlson has had a great year kicking, just need to get into range. Renfrow always a threat to break one too
  18. Definitely a big hit to Cleveland. This is pretty much a must win game for them. With games remaining against Pack, Steelers, and Cincy, I can't see them winning all 3 of those. Agree, a Browns loss tonight would be huge for our overall playoff chances. Go Raiders!
  19. All this after... 1. Lamar is a proven/past MVP 2. Huntley has made 1 start, and 1-2 relief appearances. 1 start against a Packer defense, coming off a struggling performance against the Bears Not saying Huntley won't continue to develop, do any of us really know that though? With the info that's available, why would Ravens let a young/MVP caliber player walk? Lamar hasn't been MVP caliber this year, granted, but that team has also been snake bit with injuries and he's still led them to 8 wins, to date. No Brainer, pay Lamar and get healthy
  20. Agree, alot can happen down the stretch..let me lay it out: IF, and hopefully not, but if we lose to NE and finish 10-7, we can only get 7th seed if we get the following 1. steelers a 7th loss: very likely to happen next week 2. Get 2 of 3 teams (Browns, Bengals, Ravens) to 8 losses Remaining schedules: Browns: Raiders, Pack, Steelers, and Bengals Bengals: Ravens, Chiefs, and Browns Ravens: Bengals, Rams, and Steelers This is why Pack win over Ravens today was very big, as of now. We will become BIG fans of: 1. Chiefs, hard to day this but true 2. Rams and Pack, respective weeks 3. Very likely Steelers, to play spoiler role 4. Of course Raiders, tomorrow night A Raiders win tomorrow night would be a game changer, really boosting our chances. At which point, I'd think Ravens beating Bengals next week would be our rooting interest (hoping Chiefs win 2 straight, over Pitt and Bengals, and Pack then over Browns) and put us in the driver seat rest of way for a WC. All that to say, just beat NE and win the dang division. We don't want to go in as a 7th and face a major uphill battle in the playoffs.
  21. Disagree. Go check out the ESPN playoff simulator, or run the numbers more closely yourself. We don't need 2 of the Afc north teams at 8 losses, but there are a few scenarios that the Ravens get in ahead of us with 7 losses. Root for Cincy next week.
  22. Really need GB to hold on
  23. The decision had to be made this prior Tuesday, and they decided to keep at 1pm. So no, it won't move
  24. Injured at practice Friday.
  25. At least that will help. Dawkins, Dodson, Mongo on Covid list. Many reports that all 3 are vaccinated, hopefully get them all back for next week. Panthers best DL are their ends. Burns being a speed guy, think we will line up as follows today: Brown-Ike-Morse-Ford-Williams. Backups: Bates, Doyle, Rookie Capra
