  1. He said Rousseau and Poyer out.... No he didn't, Groot
  2. Yes. Coach made it sound like he's unsure of him practicing today, he has "boxes to check" leading up today's practice.
  3. I'd take it as a potential positive that Coach is yet to rule out Josh, for practice today and Sundays game. If Coach being transparent (no reason to think he's not), sounds like Josh is progressing.
  4. Coach put Tremaine, Elam, and Tre in the same boat as Josh. Tre of course practice. but unsure on game status. Tremaine and Elam, will see leading up if they can practice today.
  5. He's usually transparent about who is definitely out this week and if any players may practice today (ie:Tremaine, Josh, Elam, etc). But agree, he isn't going to reveal anything beyond this week about any players.
  6. Roster build isn't designed around a backup QB, it was built for Josh/offensive skillset that meshes into the coaches' philosophy. That said, you can evaluate the following fairly IMO: 1. Keenum: if Josh is out, Keenum is still an established veteran QB and should be able to move the ball with the offensive talent. I think if Keenum plays "Peterman" level, then go ahead and put some shade toward Beane for misjudging the backup QB spot. 2. Dorsey: directly correlated to above, I have faith Dorsey will put Keenum in situations to succeed with his playcalling. Dorsey was a very similar QB to Case, get the ball to his playmakers and let them do their job. I'd expect to see more quick passes, occasional 50/50 deep ball (fade patterns). Keenum is good at reading defenses, and just needs to avoid turnovers/keep us in 3rd and manageable.
  7. That's looking much better. Hopefully Tremaine gets in a practice tomorrow, which would be similar to last week (when he sat out then practiced and played). Hopefully Tre is ready to return, we need to dress 1 less CB when that happens anyhow...so could be good to let Elam heal. I'd still consider Josh 50/50, no practice tomorrow and "likely" he's out. Need a strong defensive effort this week either way.
  8. Appreciate the info, and hopefully your surgery went well. But this is the exact reason why the internet docs (ie: Chao, Banged up Bills, etc) information has to be taken as "good to know", but not gospel. Nobody knows the exact nature of Josh's injury, except for those docs/trainers closely involved. Trying to apply, well this happened with guy X in the past, so we should do Y and sit him for Z games/days. It's good to be educated on the health parameters/factors possibly being considered, but after that it's pure speciation even by the best doctor in the world (unless they evaluated Josh/imaging done).
  9. Wording is important, and Rapsheet never said "slight tear". He started by saying sprain, then slid in "tiny tear". To me that's different as he was not reporting a tear, but a sprain. See the post above from Ian this am. No mention of tear, just sprain. Which as you said, and I agree with, there are variations...could be a tear, could just be "stretched" ligaments. Bottom line, let's not get all "doomsday" that Josh Allen will be compromise for remainder of season, like you said. Maybe he sits out this week, maybe he guts it out. It sounds more like a pain tolerance thing to me right now, as the Bills wouldn't be putting Allen out there with any risk of "tearing"/or making injury worse. So to me it will be a positive if he's trying to play thru it, like reported, and likely pain tolerance.
  10. Where are you getting your information on the following: 1. Partial tear? Ian R. reported a sprain, then sorta snuck in "tiny tear". Has the severity, grade 2 as you just said, actually been released or are you speculating? 2. Surgery: again are you speculating?
  11. What? Care to elaborate, it's being deemed short term...granted haven't heard from Coach or Josh again.
  12. I'll start by saying I'm not an orthopedic physician, but educated research/past facts: 1. Rapaport saying "tiny tear", may or may not be true first off. He might have been told sprain, but this could be stretching of the ligament and various grades. 2. Surgery: Josh healed and didn't require surgery with his grade 2 UCL sprain from 2018. Every injury is different, but I'd guess he'd heal w/o surgery Will see what McDermott says tomorrow, and keep an eye on injury report for Josh's participation in practice this week. If this is truly a pain mgt thing, I'm betting on Josh playing this week.
  13. I'd call this great news, instead of ehat could have been much worse news.
  14. To be clear, it didn't come off "all the boards". In fact, DK might have been one of the few (or only major sportsbook) that took it down for a little while. Many others kept it up (Fanduel, betmgm, Caesars, to name a few majors). And the line has gradually dropped as $$$ continues to come in on Minny. McDermott presser is scheduled for noon tomorrow, will find out then if Josh is possibly going to play this week. But the line movement to date is not indicative of him sitting, more bettors "guessing"/hedging (as you did).
  15. Agree. As others said, he is sometimes spot on with advanced knowledge and sometimes it doesn't come true/or not immediately...ie: recall him mentioning Speedy getting more involved last yr right before he was activated for McKenzie at PR. Is it 4pm Wednesday yet
  16. Exactly, sorry I wasn't clear in that I was more calling this twitter dude out for trying to gain attention. Less about the actual prognosis.
  17. Ha, absolutely not. Just my passive aggressive way of calling out people who seem to think they know what is going on...(likely a poster on here)
  18. This guy "claims" to know something everyone else doesn't (thru Joshs GF text messages to his friend)... claiming Josh getting PRP treatment/partially torn UCL...which is likely bogus. He's also borderline unstable, with his responses to others. Take it for what it's worth.
  19. Most sports books give people the ability to "cancel" their bet, before the game starts. Line dropping gradually, is money coming in on Vikes (people either hedging, like said above and/or truly think Minny is within a TD of Bills). Any indication that Allen is surely out this week, and this line flips to Minny being favored.
  20. Agree. Our favorite reporter (Thad Brown 👎) wrote an article in 2018 discussing what is called a "milking test". Basically a very quick test on the UCL, when the UCL is sprained badly or torn it will induce quite a bit of pain. I'd assume the trainers did during the Jets timeout yesterday, or something more than Josh just saying he's ok to return.
  21. Rumors of injury, plus our loss. If injury was the key concern, Vikings would immediately be favored.
  22. Being overdramatic and putting out anything in advance, other than "we hear he's undergoing testing/more to come as we find out" is ridiculous. Clickbait or not, alot of fans care alot about the team/Josh's health...no reason to be dramatic, unless certain. As much as I like their reviews/commentary, this type of thing turns me off to their content...
  23. Agree, this would be FANTASTIC...after all the doom and gloom. As I said before: 1. Josh has had a UCL before, he immediately collapsed to the ground and removed from game. 2. Jets took a timeout, gave our training staff a chance to look him over/talk to him. Now Josh could have said "I'm ok", but they aren't risking their franchise QB on 4th and 21 (low chance of converting, in a regular season game). 3. Josh knows his arm, he isn't unloading a 60+ yard pass if he thinks he has an issue. He's a super tough/competitor, but not enough to risk a serious injury (if he thought it was more than minor)
