  1. I agree, but it doesn’t have to be early. You can find a fat guy at any point in the draft. Heck, our best DT last year is a former 4th rounder.
  2. Yeah I laugh at people that use Mahomes as an example in regards to not having much. He has arguably the best oline, a good running game, the best TE in the game and some very solid, reliable receivers. The only player I’d take over who the chiefs have is Diggs. That’s it.
  3. While I agree with this, I do have concerns about who might be there in the second. The top of the second is usually where you see a big run on receivers. Happens every year. If that happens, we could be looking at a not so sexy pool of receivers at 59.
  4. I would love a fat DT in round 3 or 4. Get a guy that can plug the middle.
  5. Not the first. Einsteins Dog says we are trading up for a second round rated LB. Hahahhaha
  6. It’s beyond absurd to me to think anyone believes we could trade up in the first for a player that doesn’t play a premium position and doesn’t even have a consensus first round grade. Exactly. I’m not sure why certain groups of posters keep wanting more defense every year and are content to let Allen piddle around with less than ideal talent on his side of the ball. At some point, the bills are gonna have to pony up and find some players with elite talent to play along side him. Enough of these one year contracts to players on “prove it” deals. Get the guy some guys with elite traits that he can build continuity with.
  7. Or there could be something to it. Hmmmmm. Think about it…why on earth would the bills go to all this trouble to smoke screen wanting to land a second round graded LB in the first round? Again…this isn’t the 90’s. LBs don’t hold the same premium value that they once did. Try joining 2023 before you miss out.
  8. Please tell me how Diggs can “get the ball more” or Allen can stop “carrying the team on his back”. I’ll help you out…better supporting weapons and a better line. Good grief man.
  9. Agree. But what is the best way to keep him happy? Get better weapons to take pressure off of him. That’s where JSN and other top receivers come into play. Hence the premise of this thread.
  10. Same can be said at WR1. If you draft a guy in the first this year, by the time Diggs is done, we can pay the new receiver.
  11. HahHaha. You are using that as an argument? We were in a rebuild then. We literally just drafted a project qb. We are in a super bowl window now.
  12. I’d love a move up too…for offense. Enough with the defense. It’s time to add some elite talent on the offensive side and go defense later.
  13. You make fun of a poster with a good vocabulary and then you type “OKine”? Awesome. Really? So he didn’t go on Kyle Brandt’s podcast a few days after the end of the season saying how we need to adopt the chiefs way of building the offense?
  14. I really look forward to when the Bills don’t draft your guy. There is zero chance we trade up in 1 to get a LB. Try living in the new age NFL for once. It’s pretty exciting.
  15. I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all. Not one bit. Does any fan want an Aaron Rodgers type situation? That’s where we are headed if we keep going defense and ignoring WR until round 4.
  16. This is one of the main reasons I think Beane will go offense early. Both Diggs and Allen are unhappy due to the line and supporting cast, and they are our best players.
  17. If the bills are interested in a top WR, they are doing a very poor job of hiding it.
  18. And who are you to just assume that bernard or Spector can’t take a leap?
  19. What I can disagree with is sharing the same opinion that our staff values middle LB as much as some of you on this board.
  20. I agree. He will get his chance. It will be a 3 horse race for starting mike imo. Elam was a healthy scratch at times this year too. And he got beat out by a sixth rounder to be the opening day starting CB2. Yet people want to dump bernard after one year because it doesn’t fit their narrative. Very short sighted imo. Allen was constantly abused on this board for accuracy issues. There were many that wanted him replaced.
  21. Agree 100%. Some guys think there is “zero chance” they are ok with who they have now, even though the GM and HC have said they might have the guy on the roster already. Bernard wasn’t drafted to just be a ST guy. I think they had a plan. Oh really? Were fans ready to move on from Allen after a year?
  22. I remember when people were ready to dump Allen after 1 year…how did that work out?
  23. Yeah…the same coaching staff that put their first round corner as a healthy scratch multiple weeks. You are basing your opinion on that? Come on man. This staff is notorious for not playing certain rookies.
  24. I totally agree. Bernard was a huge mistake. If he was BPA at that spot then we have serious scouting issues. We could have taken a lineman or something else, but instead took a guy that no one had in the third. Really weird
  25. Hahahhaha!!!! You mean the same coaching staff that said the successor might already be on the roster? Your opinion is that there is “zero chance” they go that route. That’s an opinion based on how you see it. That’s literally the definition of an opinion. Again…thanks for your OPINION… Doubtful…happy days says there is “zero chance” of this happening.
