Training Camp opens today! 2023 Season is upon us!

This is a real possibility. Not many want to consider this due to the investment in Elam, but this wouldn’t be the first time something like this has happened. -

Yeah you def need to have a good d to win when it matters. The issue with us before this past offseason is the bills tried to “get by” on offense while loading up on d with premium assets. Meanwhile, the same defense was the reason we lost the 13 second debacle. I just feel like a great offense is always going to find a way. -

Totally agree. Anyone that watches football can see that a good defense gets you to the playoffs and a good offense takes over at that point. We spent two 3rds for this moment alone and they were ok with letting edmunds walk. Guys like Joe Marino seem to think it’s gonna be the doomsday that ruins our season. I just don’t agree at all. -

We just had a MLB that left after 5 years. How many SBs did we make? Meanwhile…we addressed the offense for once and that could be the piece that gets us over the top. I highly doubt we will be looking back at the end of the year saying…if we just had Edmunds there to make that tackle it could have ended differently. You literally said it. Come on… -

Nobody said he hasn’t been a disappointment. Find me proof of that. My point is by saying he isn’t a fit in Buffalo after one year is beyond silly. -

And who cares about a MLB. Is that position the difference between us exiting the playoffs early or winning a SB? -

Disagree completely at this point. Torrence not starting with the 1’s in the first practice is less than a non issue. -

I’m not sure we can go that far. It’s the first practice. But if this continues then it’s fair to question the pick. -

An issue? Haha. Not even close at this point. What’s an issue is Elam. He’s still behind Jackson and Benford, each of whom missed time last year to injuries. Not to mention that Benford was a dart throw at the wall in the 6th that keeps finding ways to get in front of the guy we traded up in the first to get. That’s the potential issue…not a second round RG that just finished his first training camp practice. -
Isaiah Simmons might be an answer for the Bills at MLB

Wrong. I watched some Tulane games this past fall and he was very noticeable. You lose that bet… Im a Penn state alum and there was moment last year that it looked like we would play Tulane in a New Years 6 bowl so I started watching Tulane to know what they were about. Very impressed by Williams. -

Khalil Mack played at Buffalo. Josh Allen played at Wyoming. Andre Reed played at Kutztown. Where you play in college is irrelevant. -

I think my main point is that MLB isn’t a premium position and isn’t gonna be what makes or breaks us in 2023. We have enough. It’s up to McD to coach them up and use them as intended. -

I just really couldn’t care less about MLB. It’s not what wins big games in this league. Too many older fans still think it’s the “old days”. -

Who really cares? Why is everyone so worked up about a MLB that would just get torched by Mahomes or burrow in the playoffs anyhow? It’s a silly thing to argue about imo. We got much better by adding offensive weapons and a mauling guard. We also added beef with Ford and you can get away with smaller LBers if you have size up front. That’s how you win in todays nfl. This isn’t the old nfl. -

I really don’t understand why some people are calling Beane a liar just because they don’t share the same opinion. Beane has said over and over that they might have the replacement in house. He also talked glowingly about brown and also about adding a “pass catcher” that might not be a WR. It’s time to face the music people…Beane is happy with who he has at MLB. Get over it. -
After I posted this.i saw the updated Beane quote. Sounds like he will have a shot at MLB. I actually like Williams a lot better than bernard. The problem is, bernard has a season under his belt already. Either way, I think Williams is a good player.
-
You’re not reading into it too much at all. Allen was running for his life too much and didn’t trust his options in the middle of the field. They addressed both. I’m sure Beane watched the SB and said to himself that the difference was offensive line. He made that a priority this off-season.
-
I think Williams is a good player, but to say they replaced edmunds with him is way off. They literally came out and said he would be Milanos backup. They all but said he wouldn’t even compete for MLB.

I was hoping for PJ Mustipher

Jordan Addison Zay Flowers Josh Downs Darnell Wright

Can only run with that “false info” for so long…
