I like Josh and the offense's odds against a depleted Titans defense to go right back out there and score if they had won the flip and got the ball right back... Even if they don't, if I'm McDermott, I still have to have faith in my defense to atleast hold Tennessee to a FG should they win the flip.

Game shouldn't have been close. Consistently FELL SHORT in the red zone, getting stifled by an embarrassingly bad Titans defense that was just looking for bodies to put on the field. Stupid penalties cost TWO touchdowns. Capitalize on EASY touchdown opportunities, don't commit undisciplined penalties, especially when they directly take 14 points off the board. They do both of these things, and Buffalo maintains a large lead, forcing the Titans to be more one dimensional pass heavy offense. Just a massive failure on so many levels against what should have been a truly inferior opponent.

They will game plan to take away Kelce and Hill with help from an improved pass rush, CHE will be held in check by a run D lead by Star, who wasn't out there for the last two meetings. KC will still score some points, but this Defense will be able to keep Mahomes uncomfortable back there, stall drives and force some fgs. On the flip side, To say the KC defense hasn't look great would be a vast understatement, and the Bills offense is better as a whole than it was last season. Sanders has been a huge upgrade over Smoke, he and Josh's chemistry development has been on display week after week, and even at age 34 Sanders' route running, sure hands, and ability to get open downfield have been impressive, it's almost like having another Diggs out there(I said almost). Then you factor in the emergence of Dawson Knox as a legitimate threat at the TE position to an already top 5 WR corps, plus a more than capable backfield... there are simply too many ways for the offense to get the job done, the only thing that could get in the way of a W is the Bills themselves. They can't beat themselves with stupid penalties, Daboll can't get too cute with the gameplan, just let the playmakers make plays, and don't inexplicably abandon the run, Moss will be a key factor in running over that soft KC front on the way to this W.

I like the idea of healthy combination of Klein, Dodson, and/or Smith rather than a gimpy Milano who is risking more serious injury, still early in the season. I trust McDermott and Frazier will be able to alternate between those 3 situationally to fill in for Milano sufficiently. Plus Edmunds will have to step up in coverage vs Kelce and earn that extension.

Last year I would’ve been all about it, however from what I saw during preseason I think there is finally some solid depth at LB. If Jaylon Smith played at virtually any other program than Notre Dame, and then was drafted by almost any other team than Dallas, nobody would want anything to do with bringing in a player who’s been labeled low effort, especially to a Super Bowl contender. Once a guy become synonymous with not giving it 100 or taking plays off, their career is basically a wrap.

These next two games Josh gets himself right, setting up for the rematch with KC. Daniel Jones looked very decent against this defense on the road, and Herbert had no problem moving the ball against them. I expect big plays out of the passing game, deep ball will be there for the taking against a very pedestrian secondary, the OL just has to hold up. I expect the Bills defense to make Heinecke wish he was still safe and sound on the sidelines as the clipboard holder we all know he really is… that horrible pick he threw that should’ve cost WFT the game, there will be a lot more of that. Has the reason for Moss being inactive been addressed by the coaching staff or Beane? Puzzling move, agree with much of what the OP said. 4th and 1 I'd rather have Moss on the field than Matt Breida. Atleast make Steelers respect Moss' power and the possibility it may go to him in a key short yardage situation, then run and option with Allen if you have to get cute in that spot bc the OL can't get hold up... How does a power run package with Moss, Singletary, Josh and Gilliam not make more sense than the garbage Daboll pulled in that spot? The sky is far from falling, these takes are a little ridiculous, but the Bills last 3 offensive showings have been extremely lack luster. The miss to Sanders, there is no excuse, he is literally getting paid a quarter billion $$$ to THROW a football, the margin for error is slim to none. Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, those guys (in their primes) are now the standard Josh should and will be held too. As off as Josh was today, Daboll's gameplan did 17 no favors.
