  1. Bama always finds a way to pull off miracles. I’ll believe a Michigan win once I see it.
  2. Why was he fielding that punt? You’d think the coaches would have just told the return man to hope for an end zone bounce.
  3. To be fair, Marvin Harrison Jr was the only reason any Big Ten team could throw downfield this season, and Milroe has just been awful too.
  4. Even the first playoff game I’m watching now has been terrible. The NCAA is the big loser so far this bowl season. The college football product is looking really bad. I miss the game I remember, back when everyone turned it up a notch for bowl season, and we saw good football.
  5. I can’t believe people were talking about JJ McCarthy as an NFL prospect. Were they always seeing him as a late round guy? The dude isn’t very good.
  6. I think you misunderstood. I basically said I don’t think Kincaid passes the eye test of being a Kelce like playmaker, but he showed that ability more in college. The stats do indicate it’s better than it looked to me, but there’s no denying most receptions have been dump offs that limit YAC yards. That’s mostly what I blame for not being even better in that category. I appreciate the stats, because that makes your point, but Kincaid can be even better than that. I agree, Knox (when he actually catches the ball) looks like a threat for a big play every time, while Kincaid does appear weak by TE standards with the ball. However, Kincaid might be more the shifty type, than power runner, we just haven’t maximized that potential. I wish we could combine Kincaid’s hands with Knox’s power. With that said, Kincaid is a really good player who will only keep getting better imo. It’s not like I don’t really like Kincaid as a player.
  7. I’m definitely on board with drafting a number two. My only disagreement is that I wouldn’t be fearful of trying Shakir in the slot position. The addition of a solid rookie in the number two receiver role would be huge, and frees up a lot of space in the middle of the field. Guys like Shakir developing into starting roles separate championship teams from those chasing their tails. You can only bring in so many players, draft choices need to become those guys at some point.
  8. I’ve noticed that with Kincaid as well. In fact it’s been my only disappointment with him. I’ve mentioned this lack of playmaking ability when folks compare him to other elite tight ends. However, that’s not what I saw from him as a college player. The NFL is obviously a step up with faster defensive players, but I’m not convinced his RAC ability is as bad as appears. I don’t think the routes he’s asked to run put him in the best position to make plays. He’s taking on a role that’s similar to running backs as outlet receivers.
  9. I’ve questioned Washington, but the more I look at Texas, they’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of the early season Bama win. The Longhorns had an easy schedule outside of Bama, and still managed a loss to Oklahoma. Texas is a good football team, but I don’t think they defeat Washington easily as many assume. The possibility of a big Bama win over Michigan is more likely.
  10. Why can’t Kincaid and/or Shakir be that guy? This is where I have issues with the structure of this offense under both coordinations this season.
  11. If the offense looks good in the playoffs, keep Brady. If we fall short with the offense still looking average, maybe it’s time for a fresh prospective. He’s done a lot of good things, but this offense struggles mightily without Diggs being elite every game. The Dallas game where Cook went crazy was the exception with someone unexpected stepping up. I don’t think you can replace the elite version of Diggs, but I’m not fully satisfied with how Brady makes use of the roster. I have yet to see Brady or Dorsey use Shakir and Kincaid the way they should be utilized. Allen is elite, we need to put him and his teammates in better positions to succeed.
  12. I like that from a fan perspective. However, if we clinch a playoff spot before the game, I don’t trust us to play as well. It seems like Allen and this team are best with their backs against the wall. The number two seed is still important, and I don’t want them to play flat knowing they’re in.
  13. To be fair, Tepper is the rabble. He just happens to have a decent bank account.
  14. I don’t care what happens with the Steelers, I can’t believe how many people were/are calling for Tomlin to be fired. That’s a bad roster, and remaining mediocre is a small miracle.
  15. Why have the Bengals corners always gotten away with so much? They don’t seem to draw many PI calls against them
  16. Don’t hold your breath on accountability. ESPN has been busy making excuses since it happened.
  17. Campbell’s post game presser is a mess 😆
  18. This is right up there with the fail mary that everyone used to scapegoat the replacement refs years ago.
  19. Right, I hear people talking about illegal formation, but the ref didn’t call it. So I don’t understand people saying “it was an illegal formation anyway”. That’s not what they called, so the play would have stood.
  20. How does Joe Buck definitively know that Decker didn’t report from that replay? Maybe someone can explain something I don’t understand.
  21. Goff is very consistent at going from looking brilliant to complete garbage on the same series.
  22. This play calling leaves a lot to be desired for a guy considered the next big thing.
  23. My eyes are apparently aging, because there’s something about the color scheme of these two uniforms that are blending together.
  24. I know the Cowboys are known as pretenders, but every time I watch the Lions, I see a one and done playoff team.
