  1. I didn’t realize that either, until people started talking up the Browns defense earlier this season.
  2. I thought this game might be the dud of the day. Thinking that’s not the case.
  3. Is it common for a pro bowl O linemen to play special teams? I guess I don’t pay much attention to special teams, but it seems strange.
  4. Stroud is the rare player who looks exactly like he did in college, and that’s a good thing.
  5. This game might get out of hand. Stroud vs Flacco looking like a mismatch.
  6. I agree, I just mean I wish they could have moved it to Saturday earlier in the week. I knew that wasn’t going to happen later in the week. You can’t say “there’s a game tomorrow” on Friday. I was just talking from a personal non-government employee prospective about Monday.
  7. I have my own motives, but I wish they had the vision to be more proactive instead of reactive. I would have loved the game at 1pm today. I knew that wasn’t going to happen by yesterday though. Tomorrow works fine, I would have just personally liked the game being today.
  8. I love how Dolphins fans think we’d want bad weather to stop Tua’s passing attack. We’ve done just fine on perfect days.
  9. I’ve been reading a lot on Twitter from Steelers and Dolphins like this. Many don’t seem very bright, this goes beyond the Bills. I’m glad they think the NFL wanted 4:30 Monday kickoff.
  10. Yeah, I don’t understand the mixed messages being given at this point. I’m not commenting on whether the game should happen, but how do declare a state of emergency without moving the game at the same time? Don’t declare the state of emergency in that case. The ironic part is the storm being on a weekend, the majority of “unnecessary” travel would be for the game. The rest of WNY wants to be home watching.
  11. The other issue with getting people to shovel is the fact that snow won’t be done at that time. Typically they are shoveling out the stadium after a storm. This will be in the middle of it. I’m not bothering driving out in the snow for a one off $20 hr gig.
  12. Nope, the roads became impassable with zero visibility, and even tractor trailers get stuck. Plenty of truckers have terrifying blizzard stories. You’ve got a shtick going on this topic, and I respect it. I’m not trying to change your beliefs.
  13. I’ve seen plenty of footage from blizzards with hundreds of “proper vehicles” buried and stuck in snow.
  14. I’m hoping the weather isn’t as bad as predicted. I’m also not predicting a Bills loss either way. We have what it takes to win, I just don’t understand people pretending that Allen can throw the ball if the wind and snow is what they predict. No one is throwing into that type of wind. It’d be against the laws of physics. We shouldn’t lose this game, but be realistic about the type of game it might be.
  15. Good point, but a running back vs running back game with no passing is still a toss up. Not exactly what you want with Josh Allen. I think people overvalue Fournette a bit. He’s a decent short yardage guy, but I’m not sure he’s going to be much better than any other RB #2. Fournette has a lot of miles on him.
  16. I agree, but I think my fear isn’t the passing game being affected, it’s the passing game being completely eliminated. If we get blizzard conditions with 50mph wind gusts, no one is throwing the ball. It would be Cook vs Harris the entire game. Josh Allen is an all time great, but even he’s not throwing into 50mph wind gusts and a blizzard.
  17. Steeler like? What? You mean the team that has to play us on the road.
  18. That was a long yard. I didn’t love a QB sneak there.
  19. That Fournette wildcat look made me nervous. Glad that wasn’t the play.
