  1. No thank you. I’d rather not see the Fitz cycle start over here with an Allen injury.
  2. In large part I agree. I do think it made a difference with the playcalling though. Frazier in particular has been more aggressive in the second half since that game; especially in the third quarter.
  3. Bowden is likely to be a PITA down the road. Kids been a gamer since high school.
  4. But. But. But. Kelce’s drop percentage last year was 10.4% per PFF. Gulp. Say it ain’t so! 😭 Facetiousness aside, TEs usually take a while to get up to full speed when they’re not freaks from a top program. Knox has issues with the easy catches in particular. That can be improved over time... as can his blocking. He may very well never turn into a top TE. Knox does represent a threat when he’s on the field though, and we shouldn’t neglect the reality that DCs view him as a guy that can exploit certain personnel and coverages. Even if he may drop the ball, Knox has to be accounted for which helps draw coverage away from the WRs and RBs.
  5. Did Lindsey get off IR so hey can move Jenkins around to compensate? They have some depth there if threats the case. Tough blow, but they have some backups that can run block at least.
  6. True, but we’ve also seen what happens when all three rosters are without their starting QB. The Bills and Packers have losing seasons without Allen or Rodgers. It makes sense to say that both are more valuable to their teams than Mahomes. The big issue is that MVP has turned into a team award instead of an individual award, and a lot of the voters aren’t national press that cover the entire NFL. There are local guys that only cover one team voting, and that seriously hurts Allen. Rodgers has been so good for so long that they’ll vote for him regardless.
  7. People have forgotten that the kid went to UCF and not Alabama or Ohio State. He started further behind other guys in the class..... Davis has come a long ways in a short period of time, and still has a fair amount of room to improve.
  8. Forget about the backs. If you really want to pluck a player from the past twenty years that would make our run game and four minute offense beastly..... Add an in his prime Incognito to that left guard spot. Richie and Mongo mauling DTs all game would be a blast to watch every Sunday.
  9. I’m curious to see how Covid protocols and playoff teams will factor into the hires this off season. Playoff teams will likely block in-person interviews until they’re out of the hunt. That might provide an advantage to coordinators on teams that are out of the hunt early. Some of the owners and GMs might not want to wait until after the super bowl to see a HC hire face to face. That last point is really the only way I see Daboll being here next season.... assuming he won’t just take the Pettine route of grabbing whatever HC job he can.
  10. Nope. They pushed the game back so far that most were activated off the list. I think Simmons and Corey Davis were the only starters on the list by game day.
  11. I’m looking forward to a rematch. It might not look great on paper, but IIRC we were without Tre’ White, Milano, Wallace, Moss, Feliciano, Spain, Winters, Lee Smith, and John Brown the first time around. Plus Allen and Edmunds were playing injured and the Titans were basically coming off a bye. It’s kind of difficult to stop a playoff team when you’re playing without starting corners and healthy linebackers. I want to see what happens against Tennessee when this team has a relatively healthy roster and an equal amount of time to prepare.
  12. Im waiting for the NFL to re-evaluate this “one team gets a bye” thing. Might happen if Bills and Steelers rest starters in games that should matter. I’d imagine that the Colts would be livid about missing the playoffs because the #2 & #3 seeded teams treated week 17 as a bye week or preseason game.
  13. Bills are top three in each. It’s fair. Particularly since the Packers beat the snot out of the Titans and held Henry under 100 yards while also running for over 200. Considering that the big knock on GB was “can they stop the run?” it makes sense to bump them up to #3 after they proved they could solve their biggest weakness against a playoff opponent.
  14. Don’t ride him too hard. We all know crack is whack. However, forcing someone into a 12 step program against their will dramatically reduces the possibility of success.
  15. They can also play Brown in the slot if they want to. IIRC he put up a 1,000 yard season from the slot when on the Cardinals. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Daboll go that route as it might catch the first team by surprise for a drive.
  16. After seeing what Pettine and Ryan did with the same players it’s pretty obvious why one is still employed in the NFL and the other isn’t
  17. Yeah, but he’s only got 200 passing yards, so it’s a bad game. 🙄
  18. It is. To be honest I haven’t paid too much attention to MLBs on other afc teams if it hasn’t been during a Bills game. Really didn’t realize how weak the position is in the AFC right now.
  19. Agree completely. I’m just pointing out that he tends to stop sliding in the playoffs when every game is do or die. To reiterate... I’m just talking about the sliding and not any other aspect of his game.
