I remember that COVID game. Josh Allen played incredible that game. That was a Neo moment for me when I said, "he is the one." I'm really interested in seeing how they respond to Detroit. We can't seem to find the answer against component quarterbacks like Burrow, Stafford and Mahomes in big moments. I'm hoping that this was a learning opportunity for them before the playoffs roll around.

Down by 17 to begin the 4th and he marches his team down the field twice in record time to bring the game back to 3. No wonder the Rams were aggressive on 4th down because they knew they could not stop that alien named Josh Allen. If that D gave Allen the ball back, that would of been another "MVP moment." He's such a joy to watch. I can't wait for Sundays so we get the chance to watch him play 😍

12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread
HomeTeam replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not upset about this loss, I'm happy with the way the team responded. You can't win them all. Rams had a great game. I hope this will be a learning opportunity for this team as they enter the playoffs. It's good to get beat once in a while to stay humble. Go bills! -
#97 on GB looks like a great player. First time I've really watched GB.

Nice for route by Gibbs. Gutsy call and great execution.

I really like Hyde as a player and even more as a person. I'm really happy he is back in any capacity. He a smart player that could help the young guys during the big moments. He will be ready to go if the moment calls for it but it will take him some time to ramp up to the December football. As for Hamlin, the kid gets so much flack from the fans but you have to respect the kid. After everything he's gone through, he's not afraid to throw his body in the way for the team. And for that I tip my hat to him.

Awesome, thanks @Chandler#81. "Keep knocking on that door and it shall be opened." God willing this is our year. -
I've always come off really impressed with Herbert every time I watch him. He throws such a pretty ball.

So why was Amari Cooper traded twice in his prime?
HomeTeam replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could care less about what other teams though of him. Their loss is our gain. I'm really optimistic about this pick up. -
I actually was a big fan of his in Carolina. I remember a while back when we had joint practice with the Panthers in pre season and he looked amazing. He did make a few plays tonight, so I'm hopeful.

10/14/24 Game 6 Bills at (NJ) Jets MNF 2nd Half Game thread
HomeTeam replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Refs are terrible 😂 -
We need to protect Josh better. He's getting killed out there. We need Shakir back at a minimum plus a trade at WR. Unfortunately, we are not the only team that's in the market for a WR. I don't want to break the bank but the kid needs help.

This regime sort of reminds me of the Patriots dominance where they just plug in and played unknown players and got so much out of them. I know we have not won anything so far but the ability of this regime to find and develop players has been incredible. I even remember seeing a shot of Joe Brady in the booth yesterday surrounded by 3 other assistant coaches and they all have some sort of role. One guy even had binoculars xD. Very Patriot like in the sense that McDermott and company are very meticulous in their process and are constantly growing/ learning. I'm not trying to get too high, because the season is long but you have to be happy with the way this team is looking from top to bottom. I am especially happy with the line play, where in my opinion, success begins and ends there.

This is a great week 1 have. Feels like a playoff game, they are really hitting hard or there. Jets look like a solid team. AFC East looks like a gauntlet this year.

NFL 2024 Kickoff: Ravens @ Chiefs, Sept 5 - 8:20pm
HomeTeam replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know guys, I hate to say it, but this chiefs team looks better than the last few years. They have blue chip talent across the board. I know it early but that's what eyes told me. They are going to be insufferable 😑 -

Haha, It's definitely great to have football back but I can't say that I've missed the game threads. -
Brandon Beane’s Tenure by Letter Grade—Poll is Up!
HomeTeam replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really like Beane, I love hearing his interviews and his thoughts on forming a team. He's a very likeable guy and a straight shooter. My biggest qualms with Beane was the von contact, even before the injury, that was a bad contact for an aging player. And second, the Diggs extension was also a big blunder. He jumped the gun on that to keep Diggs happy. What he did this offseason, getting rid with the old, realizing that window was closing and setting us up for the years to come, all in one year, was prudent. I actually like Beane more so than I like McDermott and would support the idea of keeping the GM, and bringing in a new coach. I'll reserve that opinion though until after this year. -
Dewayne Carter looks like a future potential leader to me. I also like the edge that Taron johnson plays with. I'm sure others will arise naturally as we approach the season opener.
-
I never did like Diggs much. I never said anything because he was popular around here and he produced, but his personality always rubbed me the wrong way. That extension by Beane was a real blunder but it seems like he did it to keep Diggs happy. I am glad that we don't have to deal with that anymore and I am excited what the new young prospects can do!

Thanks for taking the lead on these Virgil

I'm fine with this move. Clearly they really like this WR class and feel confident they can draft and develop. I hope our next wide receiver is more of the larry fitzgerald, joilio jones type mold rather than the stephen diggs, terrell owens type in terms of character.
