  1. Nabers is so good he might get drafted before MHJ. It would be a shock but not crazy. Honestly I can make a case for a move like this or just sitting tight. Giving up next year's #1 just to get a WR at 18 makes little sense. Either go big or just sit tight and take a WR at 28.
  2. Beane is not perfect and he is no genius. I have liked most of his offseason moves over the years. I have posted my disagreements with his choices. In many cases I was proven wrong - Bernard for sure. I hated the Oliver pick and didn't like the extension. Oliver is not a top 10 draft pick talent but he is very good. I hated trading Diggs and I hated Epenesa pick and now extension. I actually like the Benjamin trade and the Miller signing. Really like the Knox deal as he was one of my favorites though he simply has not developed. He has been elite at getting guys to rework their deals. His two flaws are giving up too many picks moving up in the draft and until this last year he failed at building a OL. The problem is KC has a better team and a better HC. In almost every way we are the Manning/Dungy Colts. Our only hope is Allen can win at least one Lombardi
  3. Cmon man, Poyer and White were here before Beane got here
  4. Go get Jefferson. Vikings are in full rebuild mode. Their 2nd round pick is going to be in the mid 30s at worst. Give them 28 and that pick and you still keep your first round pick in 2025. That still also preserves your 2nd round pick in 2025 for a second WR, Edge or safety.
  5. He gave up a second round pick. And he could have just stayed where he was and taken Fred Warner or Shaquille Leonard without giving up any picks. Vander Esch was gone at 19 but may have been there ar 21 if Dallas took Edmunds.
  6. If they have to sign a #1 WR in 2025 that means Beane failed miserably at his job in 2024.
  7. Lynch is a good one too. Obviously very polarizing at the time too. Fred Jackson ascending made it hurt less but seeing Lynch's success in Seattle first hand was frustrating. My son loved him in Seattle though
  8. I fully admit Diggs was one of my favorites and trading him hurts. Part of loving the Bills is having an emotional investment in the team and the individual players. It's really tough for me to think of another guy in the recent past that hurt as much after he was gone. I felt really bad when Schobel retired. I think he is one of the most underrated Bills of all time and he deserved better. For whatever reason didn't get the same attachment for Kyle Williams though I appreciated his ability. How about others? Who was the last player that really hurt when they left?
  9. That will be incredible! The first CB to ever win OROY!!!
  10. Be a McDermott fan boy if you want. Others on here agree with me As for my other points, is the failure to adequately address the OL an unfair criticism? The only redeeming factor for Epenesa is he is only 25. He had 2.5 sacks in the final ten weeks of the year. Again started the season strong and was a non-factor the rest of the way. He had 1 tackle and no sacks in 2023 playoffs. Terrible decision to bring him back. I've generally given Beane high marks for his off-season moves. As he said today, the Bills are worse today after this move. If he thinks Shakir, Kincaid, and Samuel can replace Diggs as he was implying he is insane. But he is lying. He will trade up and draft a WR. That is his MO. He burns picks to move up and get a guy he wants. The only thing left to be seen is how much he gives up and how high he goes up.
  11. Yes trade top 10 WR and keep busts like Epenesa. Take five years to finally put together an above average OL and then blow it up one year later. Doesn't matter anyways, until McDermott is gone its all window dressing.
  12. I would take the Rams one SB win and not making the playoffs over losing in the Division round three years in a row. People are brainwashed with Beane and McD BS on sustained success. The NFL is a win now at all costs league. And this regime blew our best chances. Josh could break down like Cam Newton any moment with the way he plays. Like Apollo Creed said, there is no tomorrow.
  13. What are you talking about? The Bills will have a cap charge of $30M this year and no player on the roster to show for it. How much more dead do you want that to be???
  14. Bernard was a second year player. He only played one game as a rookie and he sucked in that game.
  15. Ok. I'm done with being emotional. One of my fav players is gone. Time to move on. Hope Beane can get a star WR on the cheap in the draft.
  16. So when Beane drafts a WR in the first round can we ban BPA talk on this board? That alone would make this trade palatable.
  17. Were we winning with McDermott with the last four playoff performancesby his defense? I mean really it is past time especially with Belichick available.
  18. Oh come on. The defense is the cause of the loss to Chiefs x 2 and the Texans. It was not Diggs.
  19. The media loves to praise teams on the way up and bash those on the way up. Texans are ascending Bills look at best from the outside to be treading water or in decline. We know the players that Beane got rid of were all replaceable. But when you lose both safeties, your center, and your #1 WR it looks really bad. The trade sucks. The media knows McDermott is a joke too. They know he cost us a SuperBowl. They know he can't beat Reid in the playoffs. They love Ryans right now. The only thing that reverses the narrative is winning the SuperBowl. Until then all we are is a team wasting a HOF QB, just like the Chargers with Rivers, the Dolphins with Marino, and Elway with Reeves.
  20. They have Andy Reid we have McDermott...big difference
  21. So you can use the 2025 pick this year to trade up. If they don't use it then it makes less sense.
  22. A 2025 2nd round pick! Beane got had. This is all to placate McD's fragile ego. This is really stupid move for this year. Only way Beane recovers from this is to mortgage multiple picks to move up and get one of the top 3 WR. Sad sad day when you chose the loser HC over the guy that was the heart and soul of the team for years.
  23. I hate this so much. Best WR in franchise history. Pegula and Beane choose the loser head coach over the star WR that called out his bull#### OC. God I hate this. Beane had better find a great replacement
