  1. It is rarely play calling. It is usually execution. Would i Like some more designed plays for Shakir and Kincaid - yes! But the players need to execute a simple handoff that is done at the high school level every Friday night Honestly Shaq looked a little slower last week than he did in the previous games. Not sure he can hold up at a high level for a full game. I'd probably platoon them, but McDermott has stated in the past he doesnt like to do that.
  2. Let Josh go air raid this week and force Penix to throw often. Trust your MVP on national TV. Stop handcuffing him. Just get a win and then get to the bye McDermott is excellent out of the bye week and we get multiple guys back.
  3. His last name is Sanchez. You think the charges would be dropped in Texas or Florida??? His only hope is he was intoxicated or on some other drug. Then its involuntary. Await the tox screen which is back in about 2 hours in any hospital but for whatever reason is not released for weeks from the police.
  4. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46552852/nfl-nflpa-reviewing-giants-concussion-protocol-qb-jaxson-dart Will be interesting to see how serious they take this. It looked like Daboll was arguing with the independent neurologist on the sideline if Al Michaels correctly pointed him out. If a HC interfered with the protocol, could see fine or maybe even suspension. No matter it was a very bad look for Daboll. I dont think I've ever seen another coach or player for that matter enter the medical tent when a player was being evaluated.
  5. LOL...and our 3rd round pick didn't dress for four games and was called out by the coach for not doing his job/not knowing the play last game. Like I said it's a lottery and I'd favor trading away future lottery tickets for a proven talent.
  6. Coleman has now been disciplined twice by the coach for reasons we don't know. Where are all the posters that called Diggs a cancer and wanted him gone? Why so silent?
  7. Trading a 3rd round lottery ticket for a proven NFL player is not necessarily a bad decision. I think you are overvaluing draft picks, while at the same time I am admittedly not caring as much about the future. Its a balance of course. Drafting Cook when they already had a RB looks like a great decision. That said I would still take a half season and a shot at the SuperBowl with Amari Cooper over the chance you draft another Boogie Basham.
  8. Terrible taunting call Michaels is insufferable tonight...likes to hear himself talk
  9. Amazing the refs can het the fumble call correct in a bang bang play and the earlier non catch, but miss penalties repeatedly....
  10. Where is the downfield passing for the Eagles? They have great WR corp?
  11. That last one was OPI if anything. Brown extended his arms and pushed off
  12. Bad PI call. He knocked the ball down. Another non hip drop call
  13. Bad look Daboll trying to rush a concussion evaluation. It looked more like a neck strain than concussion but he clearly grabbed his head when down
  14. There is the issue! You, respectfully, have the wrong objective. We showed patience in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The core of the team was built by 2020. We even endured the purge and reboot. We are no longer patient. Many (probably the majority at this point) of us are no longer interested in teambuilding. We really are only interested in a Championship! I don't care about 2026 or beyond. The Rams didn't either when they got Von and they won it all. We have the MVP of the league, if you are not doing everything to win a championship this year then you are doing a disservice to Allen and to your fans. We have no idea how long he is going to be able to play at this high a level.
  15. The team is missing 3-5 pieces of the defense. Oliver and Hoecht should help. As much as I detest PED cheats, I'm looking forward to seeing what Hoecht can do, and I will be a hypocrite cheering for him. Hairston is unknown. It would be at least encouraging if they opened up his window to return this week. I'm fine if Shaq starts the rest of the year at LB. I'm over Milano. I don't expect much from Ogunjobi. He is 50/50 that he even returns to the 53. I would not be surprised if he is cut. If not then the only consternation would be if he dresses and Sanders does not.
  16. Like you said Coleman has made some plays and he is not devoid of talent. He is not as fast as Gabe Davis but has better hands. Its odd that they say everybody eats but its clear from the snap count and the plays, they are forcing the ball to Coleman at times. In this offense he should no higher than 4th in targets. The offense should be built around Cook running and receiving, and Kincaid amd Shakir. Those three should be getting 75% of the targets and the other 25% to the rest. Like the other thread, I'm tired of everybody eats.
  17. Agree but Ward has had multiple games missed due to injury. Like you said he is a high value asset. His contract may make him difficult to trade. The GM is trying to save his job. Will be interesting to see if they make more moves.
  18. No reason to panic. The defense always rises to the occasion in the playoffs and in the playoffs you are not allowed to throw passes beyond 15 yards.
