  1. They are as good at run blocking as Epenesa sucks at pass rushing. Terrible pick. Hated it then. I thought it was right move to have him slim down. But he is simply not athletic enough to be effective in the NFL
  2. But I read on here all the time never take a guard in the first round????
  3. Bills need a dome because the weather sucks for the fans as much as it does for the players. Most players don't want to play in cold, rain, and wind. Most players are from the South or California. The chance JA is still playing with the Bills by the time the new stadium is done is really low. Hope they change their mind and build a dome like Minnesota
  4. I get it. Some trade ideas seem off the wall. But trading two underachieving first round picks for each other is not out of the question.
  5. Help me here. I would say Dallas, Seattle, and Tampa have better group of WR's - excluding TE's. Who else? Rams? Minnesota? Bills can't be less than top 6 in the league. Of course it can be upgraded. Every position except CB can be upgraded. But at what cost and what is the difference in the return on investment. I was fine with a high draft pick RB last year but I terribly misjudged the OL talent. If Dawkins can not return to form you are looking at replacing both guards and keeping an average center, an average LT, and an unknown at RT. Beane screwed up with the Ford pick. Set the line back three years.
  6. My point was I would spend on a high priced RB if they have not addressed the OL. In this scenario if they move Edmunds, they must replace him too. Therefore any trade would need to bring them back a high end starter at DE or anywhere on the OL. Cutting Moss for another 3rd or 4th round draft seems like a waste of a draft pick. They need TE #2, maybe another WR, and a 1tech DT. Just don't see how they draft another RB in first two days of the draft three years in a row,
  7. I think Edmunds sucks but I only trade him for a DE or high level OL. Yes I wanted Najee Harris in the draft, but at the time I thought Ford was the answer at guard. He is a bust. They can't afford a high pick or to waste trade on a RB. Must fix both lines at all cost first. They can survive with the three backs they have now if they had a better OL
  8. It's a prediction thread not a look up a statistic thread
  9. Someone on defense is going to need to make a play. I’m going with Hughes strip sack inside the Panthers 10 yard line.
  10. I don't know about that. I think you are correct it was DPI but given it was at that moment in the game, the refs tend to swallow the whistle and let them play. So I'm not surprised it was not called. That said the DPI against I think it was Wallace in OT should not have been called for the same reason. The deep seam pattern miss holding the jersey was a terrible miss. The OT play was not DPI.
  11. They all have played poorly at times. Dawkins is still the best of the bunch. Played the worst when he only had 4 days rest between games. Has been very good the last two
  12. Yup and still a battle to even make the playoffs. McDermott sucks
  13. Brown to LT? If they play Doyle st left tackle, Allen won't survive the game.
  14. This is pure speculation. How could anyone know any of this information
  15. This is just one aspect of his job. Ourside of the 4th and 3 call against Tampa I've been moslty ok with his in game decisions. I dont get too worked by the choice for going for two or an XP. The percentages aren't that much different. Issues I have with him is roster make-up, lack of player development, in game adjustments, and overall regression of the team.
  16. $3.575M contract for a LB that plays special teams and no defense. How stupid is that. They can get any street FA for $3M less than they are spending on him to do the same thing. One of several dumb moves by Beane wasting cap space on bottom of the roster players You must have blocked out Peterman against the Chargers. Or the Rams last year when the Bills got out to a big lead only to see it all go away in the second half requiring a late JA rally.
  17. I agree. I love JA but he missed two TD throws against Pats. Dawkins got blown up in Tenn. I want McDermott gone but I thought he made the right call in Tennessee game. Hated the punt on 4th and 3 against Tampa. 100% agree on pass to Diggs. That was the wrong call. Their defense was gassed. JA could have sat in the pocket all day until someone broke open. Bad decision. Diggs is a great WR but a fade or even a back shoulder is not his route. That is Hopkins or Adams. Same way you don't throw a fade to Tyrese Hill. Diggs is an elite route runner with elite hands. Let him run a real pattern to get open.
  18. Just for clarification, does anyone on this board think the Bills have the best defense in the league?
  19. Hughes, Star, Addison gone. Hughes is already on his last year so wouldn't that already be factored into cap space ? Restructure Morse again. Trade Edmunds Reworking Dawkins and White by converting salary to bonus money will fre up more cap space. Williams will be a really interesting decision. This is all good but how will Beane spend it? Hopefully not spending significant money on special teams scrubs and on real players. Any UDFA can do what Matakevich and Jones do for far less cost.
  20. His name should have been removed years ago well before cancel culture existed. Probably 2nd greatest Bills player only to Bruce Smith. Keep the stats. Throw out the person.
  21. I hope the networks pick up on this and mention it during the Sunday broadcast after a questionable call
  22. 100% agree. But Sanders in one on one coverage without safety help is a throw JA should attempt, especially against that secondary. Sanders likely blows right past that guy in a few more steps
  23. First of all they get it right an amazingly high percentage of the time for how fast the game moves be it penalties, possession, or spotting the ball. A few fixes 1. Offsetting penalties - a simple redo is stupid. If the offense was called for holding but the Defense was flagged for DPI 30 yards down field how is that offsetting? 2. If the defender jumps into the neutral zone unless he has made contact he should be allowed to get back unless the center snaps the ball. If the OT moves in response to the movement into the neutral zone then it should be blown dead and replayed with no penalty to either player. 3. All plays should be eligible for review from a truly independent body. All boundary plays should be reviewed by the booth not just possession or scoring plays just as it is under 2 min. When they moved to reviewing PI it became quite clear even obvious mistakes were not going to be corrected. They were policing their own and chose not to make them look bad. Coaches get 1 challenge per game and if they win the challenge they get another. 4. PI on underthrown balls - the defender has no chance to avoid this penalty and it is unfair. This should not be a foul. NBA had something similar where a defender was charged a foul if the guy bringing up the ball stopped for no reason just to draw contact. Same principle applies here. It's physics too. A defender can't backpedal as fast as a guy can run forward so they must turn their hips and run with the WR. At that point they can't look back and stop at the same time the WR stops. There needs to be a chance for the defender to make a football play. 4. Defenseless WR - if the WR changes the strike point the defender should not be flagged as long as they follow the other rules such as not hitting with the crown of helmet or launching themselves
  24. Not so easy. It's not just the ball, it's when they were down.
