Trade Edmunds to Seattle for one of the picks they just acquired. My son is a Seahawks fan and he is just devestated today.
-
Please please go sign him and trade Edmunds away. Please dear God make this happen.

Tyler Lockett is available for trade
Ethan in Cleveland replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you. I stand corrected. I was looking at the cap hits Seattle would incur but you are correct Buffalo's cap hits would be less. Still pricey for #2 WR and he will be 30 this year. I'd prefer Metcalf and the ability to sign him and Diggs to extensions. You are correct on this time period. I cant defend their moves because you are correct they have been terrible lately. All started with trading away Max Unger and some really poor first round picks. -
He had a great beard and a great press conference. The board loved it and forgot he was a PED cheat coming off knee surgery. Terrible contract and even a worse decision than the guy that quit at halftime.

I agree. Beane had far worse FA signings like Trent Murphy. Klein was not too bad. 100% agree!

Russell Wilson traded to the Broncos
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coaching lost Bills the SB not the location. Neither SB participants was the #1 seed. Other than that I do agree the path to the #1 seed seems easier. -

The Adams trade was so stupid. Agree 100% I'm telling you there will be something that comes out with Wilson someday. There are just too many whispers of him not being liked. Im thinking he is a locker room cancer. But still to give up on a franchise QB and keep one of the oldest HCs in the NFL is puzzling. There just has to be more to this story. -

Lol. Two SB appearances and a win. What is your definition of competent? I agree. Lockets contract is an albatross. Metcalf could be had on his current deal and you can figure out the long term plan at WR later. -
Good and necessary cap move. After his first few games where he was terrible, he improved a lot and there was no drop off between Edmunds and him.

Who is your Big Splash Player
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mack would be a splash but I don't see it happening so I chose Gronk which I do think has a chance of happening Agree. I love dual threat RB's and he has played better than I thought he would coming our of college. But at this point he is far too expensive and to take on that contract and give up high round draft capital is crazy. -
Packers and Rodgers agree to deal. 4 year 200 million
Ethan in Cleveland replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
One game further than Bills made it last year. Glass houses... Exactly. Rodgers is twice the QB Cousins is and yet the salaries are not that far apart -
1 year prove it deal...OJ Howard?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes if they can't get Gronk. Would be huge upgrade over Sweeney. -
Nobody is saying not to go sign a quality fA or two. What we are saying is dont sign too many roster bottom feeders that could just as easily be filled by UDFA or low round draft picks. Don't cut Haack and sign a FA punter. Just draft one. Decisions like that keep you net negative and still fill the roster.
-
There are other free agents that will be gone too like Jones, Breida, and Kumerow that can help them stay net negative. You replace them with draft picks, salary cap cuts that are not free agents, and you bring some of them back. They will draft DL, WR, and CB. Sign Gronk. Bring back Phillips and Hughes. Probably bring back Zimmer and Boettger, and maybe Obada too.
-
Maybe I'm wrong but I don't recall many people labeling him a bust. I think many including myself have posted he has not lived up to his draft position. He has improved to the point of being a solid starter just not a star player. Ford is a bust. I think they keep him and see what he does with Kromer in camp. But ultimately they will likely either cut him or trade him for a 7th round conditional pick. And Epenesa is getting close to being a bust.

Defense cost them the Texans and Chiefs games in prior years too. But shhh, McD is a genius. I read it here

Bills sign 1yr camp deal with SJF
Ethan in Cleveland replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unlike most topics on this board, I'm ambivalent on this issue. If I was GM I would just use the start of the art facilities in Orchard Park. I would let my team sleep in their homes. I dont care about building team chemistry when more than a third of the guys they bring to camp won't even be on the roster. But their is an undeniable fact that win or lose, the game is still just for entertainment. And for some fans, getting a glimpse of their favorite player up close is a memorable experience. I went to Fredonia as a kid a few times. Never been to the camp in Rochester but from what is posted here, the team does a good job making it fun for the fans. Either way, just hope no player slips on a mat. -
Please. You think what we are allowed to see is the reality. Lol. Google Jim Tressel who preached and even wrote about integrity and then did the exact opposite. All that said even if he is a man of high integrity and there is nothing truly publicly known to doubt that, he still choked in the moment. I could really care less about his character flaws or not, just don't blow our chance at a SB with the best QB talent in the NFL. Another perfect post. Well stated.

What changes will Ken Dorsey bring to the Bills offense?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Adding Gronk, getting rid of Gilliam and any fullback would make me happy. A two TE set with two guys that are at least capable blockers and can win one on one matchups in the pass game is lethal to defend. It forces the defense to choose play base defense or nickel. Then the offense can react with runs against a softer front or attacking the base defense with multiple receiving threats. Gronk or another credible TE #2 wpuld transform this offense. If they don't land a good second TE option, then I hope it is more of the same. 3 or 4 WR sets with Knox rarely leaving the field.
