  1. How many times are we going to run on 1st down. We have to mix it up.
  2. Honestly, I would feel better with just about anyone at this point. For me, when it comes to Bass, it has more to do with how and when he misses. I remember before the miss against KC, everyone in our section had zero confidence he was going to make that kick. There was little doubt. It's not about percentages (career 81 vs. career 84). But it's when he's missing, and how he's been trending over the back half of the year last year, through now. And when he misses badly, and it's not from a block or slip, you can't help but think he has the yepps
  3. Last year was the first year that I felt we had a good enough offensive line to win a Superbowl. I can't say I have the same confidence in our defensive line. It always feels like we are missing that run stuffing specialist. I know that we were plagued with injuries at LB in the playoff game against the Chiefs, and I believe we were also missing Benford, althought I can't quite remember. That being said, throughout the McDermott era, there's been stretches where teams will run the ball down our throats over and over again, and it just seems that the common theme, is an undersized dline that gets bullied. It happened in the Chiefs playoff game, and obviously against Baltimore as well. I agree with undersized LB's, as it helps with todays game, but why can't we build a bigger dline.
  4. Overpay would be the better word. At the time of the trade, and even now, I felt it was the right decision to trade Diggs. That being said, I don't feel the Bills have done enough to replace Diggs and Gabe. I didn't like the Keon Coleman pick, because of all the talk that he struggles to separate. Although that might be overstated, the truth is probably in the middle. I have grown to like him, but I view him more as a Gabe Davis replacement, as opposed to a Diggs replacement. I remember leaving that Chiefs game saying to myself, we need to add some speed on offense, and that was with Diggs on the field (minus Gabe). For the first time ever, I remember saying to myself that we miss Gabe, although I'm not sure he would've done much. The other thing that we have to be able to adjust to is that the playoffs is a different brand of football. Guys get away with a lot more contact, being grabby....ect. I believe this is why Diggs struggled in the playoffs the last couple of years. I like the size Keon brings, but we are still missing the speed element.
  5. I'm sure a guy like that has to be sick of losing.
  6. Would never happen, but this would be worth the FARM!
  7. To be honest, I'm not sure why anyone would bring up Diggs. We got a 2nd round pick for an aging diva WR, who has clearly lost a step. His ypc is abysmal. He's a possession receiver at this stage in his career. We robed the Texans, like we robed the Browns and Bengals a few years ago. Although the Browns did rob us back...lol.
  8. He has, but believe he is checked out.
  9. I believe I read somewhere that it drops to 8.6m around the trade deadline, and that the Raiders are willing to eat some of it. I would only do the deal, if no new guarantees are added. That being said, besides this being fun to talk about, I don't think it's too realistic. I like the idea of Amari Cooper. He's not at all a Diva, and seems like he would be the better fit. He also provides more speed on the outside, and would get Hollins off the field. Hollins is a fun story, if he's WR 5, not a starter.
  10. I was initially against the Adams idea (too diva), but no guarantees after this year, which means he'll be in his best behavior, chasing new money. He's an upgrade to diggs, and is better made for the playoffs as diggs.
  11. This is not an attack on McD but I will say, they will all saw Milano outplayed that journeyman vet his rookie year, and it took MCD a bit to play Milano. Very few are as ever as good out the gate as Tre was.
  12. As soon as we added those 2, I figured those would eventually be the guys. Maybe this past week, forces the hand a bit more. This is not an attack on McD but I will say, they will all saw Milano outplayed that journeyman vet his rookie year, and it took MCD a bit to play Milano. Very few are as ever as good out the gate as Tre was.
  13. I think this is more than fair and accurate, but will say that the safety market and how it was trending, was easy to read.
  14. I'd feel a lot better with McManus as our kicker. How long are we suppose to give Bass to turn it around? Enough is enough.
  15. What a travesty. Paying Samuel more than what we could've signed Simmons for. I believe we're paying Samuel 8 per, and Simmons is getting 7. If I'm not mistaken.
  16. I'm not going to panic, I think the big fellas just didn't have the juice this week. You can't fake desperation, and that's what the Ravens were. If there's a rematch in the playoffs, they don't scare me. Moving on to Houston. Had to wait my response, by adding that I agree that Brady didn't stick to the game plan enough. Lack of play action and motion, really hurt us.
  17. I knew that we were not going to sign Justin Simmons, but don't understand why. Dude is one of the best safeties in the league, and is like the Mahomes whisperer. He was on the market for like ever, and signed for a very reasonable amount. Here we are not even out of September, talking about bringing Hyde back....pft
  18. For as good as Beane has been, I've had one thing that has driven me crazy. The lack of speed for Allen. I was ok with us moving on from Gabe and Diggs, but felt that Brian Thomas was there for the taking, and felt like we weren't aggressive enough to try and get him. His skillset is exactly what Allen needs on offense. I think Coleman is a nice player, but right now Coleman seems more like a Gabe Davis replacement, with a much more limited ceiling than Bryan Thomas. We just didn't do enough in my opinion. I was underwhelmed with our draft.
  19. At the moment in the game, the oline was actually starting to get some decent traction. We had all the moment, and completely blew it with that idiotic call.
  20. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem like we're motioning much. We played right into the Ravens hands, from the very jump.
  21. Brady earned a lot of equity in the 1at 3 weeks, and is attempting to give it all back in one night.
  22. We look like the 2018 Bills tonight.
  23. Overly conservative play calling to atart
  24. I also really love what I am seeing as well, but the real test hasn't started yet. Hopefully he can maintain his level of play, against the Chiefs/Ravens of the world.
  25. During the offseason, they lost a few pieces on the oline, and to compound matters, the oline coach passed away before the start of the season. They have not had the same type of success with run blocking, that we are used to seeing. They don't scare me one bit. Like the poster above stated, we won't go undefeated, but no reason to fear anyone on our schedule, as long as Brady continues to call a good game. Oh yea.......and we have number 17.
