I'm hoping they go out of business so someone else can buy WGR.

Antonio Brown - (Former) Arena Football League Owner
Nextmanup replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
The video clip at that link with Simms and Florio talking about the worst fanbases (biggest thugs) in the NFL was pretty entertaining. They both unanimously give #1 to Philly, of course! Simms puts the Bills fanbase at the top of great fanbases "with a touch of crazy." LOL -
Nah, it was a garbage pitch. I don't think he ever saw him at all. He was totally focused on the batter. That lead off was incredible! And the 3rd baseman was playing pretty far off the bag too. If the pitcher had looked over with the guy standing 45 feet from 3rd base, they could have shut that thing down very easily. Probably would've ended in a pickle. Still a fun play to see though!

Is Sean McDermott our version of Doug Collins?
Nextmanup replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look at the Bengals right now. They are in a really good place; they are a better team than we are. They are going to be set up for a long time, and they have already been doing some winning for a few years now. None of this phase of Bengals football would be happening if they never fired Marvin Lewis. Look at the Eagles. They won the damned SB against BB, Brady, and the Patriots no less. Then things sort of fell apart and they FIRED THE HEAD COACH. And not that much further down the road, they make an appearance in the SB again last year with the new guy. Good organizations aren't afraid to improve the coach if he isn't getting the job done. Bills fans are deathly afraid of the idea because most of our coaches historically have been dog ****. The assumption seems to be if we change McDermott out, he'll be replaced with Kay Stephenson, guaranteed. LOL -

I didn't say over 20. The other guy did. And there's a TON more....have a look at wikipedia. -
I am by no means a Yankees fan, but I do love to see this sort of aggressive base running. Check out Brooks Raley...he never looked over at the runner at all!

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
Nextmanup replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think when the first game starts, Diggs will be all business and try to do the best he can. As long as he operates like that, there isn't much of an issue. -
Is Sean McDermott our version of Doug Collins?
Nextmanup replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doug Collins? No. He's more our very own Marvin Lewis. And there is already a thread on this EXACT POINT. It's been more than one year of playoff losses. Pay attention. The same people shouting "NO!" now are the people who were OUTRAGED(!) when McDermott released Marcell Dareus, and they would have supported retaining Dareus FOREVER.... They will clutch onto McDermott FOREVER for fear that we end up with any one of a thousand HORRIFIC past Bills coaches again. LOL. Such is the plight of being a Bills fan. They don't seem to catch on that you can actually IMPROVE the position, with a GREAT HC. It all comes down to whoever does the interviewing and hiring, and how competent they are. As I have now said for 3 years (I think), the DAY WILL COME when McDermott faces his judgment. If we perpetually fail, he'll be GONE. Mark my words. -
Sal C. mentioned today on air that Knox was walking around today with a slight limp with a long "sleeve" on his leg. He said he didn't look too bad but he did not participate in any drills, etc., obviously.

He is trash, on a personal level. Sorry if that shatters your personal fandom of him. This league is filled with trash if you haven't noticed.

Inside the NFL moving to the CW network
Nextmanup replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
It was pretty much all that was out there. I loved the NFL films highlights from the various games with the dramatic music and slow motion and what not...plus lots of "on an open mic" moments you would never see on tv. -
Help me understand the Ken Dorsey hate
Nextmanup replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
We brought them back because the machine was broken, and they were desperate to fix it with the limited techniques that were available to them at the time. The fact that those guys played on this team last night is a total indictment of the organization. Never should have happened, or have needed to happen. It didn't really do anything anyway. -
Bills place TE Zach Davidson on IR...ending season

While you're at it, why not fix the horrid wording and obvious typos? -
The Ronnie Harmon incident in Cleveland. One of dozens of heart breaking moments in my Bills fandom. It's a road paved with broken dreams and shattered hopes! 😀

He's also intelligent, which threatens people who aren't equally intelligent.

It sounds familiar, but I'm not sure how much the Bills themselves are bickering. The last bickering led to 4 SBs, so that's not all bad either.

There were the quotes from opposing defenders saying we did everything they saw on film and prepared for during the week. That's not good. I feel we were extremely vanilla and repetitive. -
I think he meant the cancelling was a sign of more strife within the team, but it sounds like this is routine. I don't see the point of planning and arranging something like this, doing it for 2 days, and then calling it! Finish it out...work on some things...make the team better.

I felt much better last offseason. People were saying we were the favorite to win the SB. Now they are saying we are the 8th best team in the league. We are due for a regression year. That schedule is brutal. Not sure the team is improved where it matters.
