Allen makes the entire damned team and coaching staff look good!

Seriously, who give's a rat's ass about the Pro Bowl, or what "they" think? So many Bills fans have such an inferiority complex. It is not healthy.

Pray the drafting gets a LOT better.

Fix the OT Rule for Playoff Games--That was Stupid
Nextmanup replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
As the creator of this thread I totally resent this. I have talked about this for YEARS and it was a huge issue impacting the game tonight. It's not exactly a new or revolutionary idea to give BOTH teams the chance to win in OT. Only would the NFL have the rule as it is. Ever see a baseball game? Both sides get their shot. It's a little more thought than that, Einstein. -
I started a thread on this very topic like 1/2 hour ago!
-
McDermott was straight up asked about this in his post game presser a few minutes ago. He refused to answer difficult questions about end of game decisions, but he did claim "We talk about things like that". I can guarantee NO ONE talked about that in this game tonight. Didn't have time to!

Honestly what do you do moving forward?
Nextmanup replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's fair! Everyone is shell shocked. When we scored with 13 seconds I didn't think "we will probably win," I thought "We have just won this game" and now the season is over! What the hell happened?! -
How many chances does McDermott have left?
Nextmanup replied to Igotbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even though many fans here probably don't realize it, McDermott DOES have to win at some point. And your questions are relevant, or at least will be relevant at some point in time. How long he gets? How will success or failure be defined? Those are questions no fan can answer. But they will be answered at some point in time by Pegula. If we win a SB SOON, it won't matter. If we don't, things will get more interesting. -
"Keep him forever" the Bills fans said of McDermott. "You never know how bad his replacement will be!"

These threads are unbearable after losses

If you prefer this forum to be a "Go Bills Go" Bills Booster Club, and nothing more, simply walk away from the forum at a time like this, as MANY kool aid drinking regulars here do routinely. Look at the notable names nowhere near this forum right now! LOL -
McDermott refusing to answer questions substantively about the final 13 seconds of the game and a series of critical decisions made by the coaching staff. Not a good look IMO.

There will be a ton of Bills fans who disagree with you here, mostly because they are afraid we will screw up the hiring of his replacement. So they assume better to stick with the one you know forever. Some men remain married to the wrong woman for 30 years based on the same thinking. -
That's a huge assumption to make, but I would have loved our chances next week at home against the Bengals!
-
Some of us have been preaching this FOREVER. I said it before this game! You beat a team like KC and Mahomes by out-Mahoming them. AND WE ALMOST PULLED IT OFF! You don't "defend" a team of that caliber! Forget it!

I would cheat the priority to the OL before another good CB, but agree another CB could/should be a huge priority in the draft! The WR situation is going to change too. We need more speed and we need to find ways to get some f-ing YAC. Josh had the worst YAC stats in the NFL this year. -
Do you mean how does he emotionally recover? or are you suggesting he should be fired? Not sure how you can say this hurts worse--maybe because it truly felt like we came from behind to win the game with 13 seconds left. I was a hell of a lot younger in the SB days but they emotionally devastated me! 😭
-
Something snapped inside Josh prior to the New England game and the start of this year's playoffs. He was playing these 2 games with a focus and intensity I have not seen before. And look at his production! If Josh can hang around THIS level next season, we'll win 14 games.
-
That's not fair--you have no idea how prepared he was or wasn't! I do think he made some odd calls at various points in the game, but that happens in every game.
-
I give Boomer credit for saying it like it is, and straight up saying McDermott will have to answer some tough questions after the loss!
-
Why wasn't he used more than he was this year? Coaching.
-
As a long time Red Sox fan, I can tell you that they used to talk about that franchise being cursed too! Then the organization finally got SMART, made some good hires, and stopped employing racist policies in their player selections. And magically the curse was lifted! We need smarter coaching.
-
Poor defensive play doesn't justify a simple tactical decision that was THAT WRONG. The coaches have to do everything to put the team in the best position to succeed. It's not even a complicated or unusual type of play--it is routinely correctly handled all around the league.

2 wrongs don't make a right. The coach can make a terrible call on the kickoff AND the OT format can be bull#### too! -

The kickoff decision was criminal...I get that. But it is Mickey Mouse and amateurish to let the game end with only 1 team touching the ball on offense, especially in a game like this. I wouldn't be surprised if the rule is changed this off season because of this game. -
Imagine replacing him next year with a maniac play maker. We'd be substantially better on D with that move alone.
