Fix the OT Rule for Playoff Games--That was Stupid
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh deserved the W. -
Such a mind numbing end where you knew the coin flip would decide it, screw the NFL OT rules.

Allen is now officially the Chuck Norris of 4th quarters.
-
Allen did everything he could short of subbing in for our anemic 4th quarter pass rush. Allen is the freaking man, at least we all know that now with emphasis. He’ll get his before it’s all said and done.

I guess we're supposed to bring sweet potatoes to games now?

Obviously “Yam” rhymes with Sam, #14 Sammy Watkins’ given name, and he’s no longer a KC deep threat, so…14 dollars should do it! -
McKenzie playing scout team Tyreek Hill
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way Josh’s been running why not throw him in there on the scout team as Hill for a series or 2? 🤔 (Yes I know, we are in full-on Chuck Norris can do anything territory here with Josh) -
Post-Beatdown Belichick Locker Room Visit?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well mystery solved given Josh’s interview today posted above—I wonder if BB has ever done this for any other QB? Pretty cool overall in the moment when it’s all said and done. imho. -

Allen's play action technique - 2 points
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to macnmotion's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great observations OP; I’d also just like to add that I’ve always been impressed with the sheer length of time Allen is able to keep the fake in place at the RB’s bread basket level, while Allen is reading his keys/selling the fake—it forces the D to commit one way or the other, and gives Allen another split second lead time in letting the pass routes develop. It’s another small but vital detail imho. As a former wannabe QB in an earlier life, I can attest firsthand on the coaching points of emphasis involved with play action, and actually giving it sufficient time in the RB’s (almost) grasp is easier said than done, but Allen has excelled at it. -
Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30

Glad to see the blue pants were banished for this playoff rematch! -
Have you ever gotten into a fight over the Bills?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
MNF, 1993, Bills at 3 Rivers Stadium--some drunk slob Steeler fans after the game in the concourse sucker punched my buddy (who was wearing Steelers gear) from behind and shoved me into a railing all while stealing my prized Bills hat before we knew what hit us--we were just 15 yr old kids! Security was shoving pastries and pierogies into their mouths somewhere far far away from the scene (I think). So I guess that's not really the definition of a "fight" then, is it? -
Post-Beatdown Belichick Locker Room Visit?

Nothing too savory going on here... https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/patriots-bills-bill-belichick-ripped-for-postgame-handshake I hope so. Maybe there's some hope for him after all. -
Post-Beatdown Belichick Locker Room Visit?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree I think based on comments he's dropped along the way and even his postgame interactions suggest he greatly covets Allen and what he brings to the QB table as unique. As to McD, that seems to be a bit more on the frosty side though? -
Heard Sal with Howard and Jeremy this morning talk about this on WGR, but Sal was unaware as to any details and haven't seen this pop up anywhere else--was wondering if anyone knows more, or have any guesses as to what was said/may have happened with a Belichick visit to the Bills locker room after this historic game? https://nesn.com/2022/01/bill-belichick-visited-bills-locker-room-after-patriots-playoff-loss/

Here's an idea: Can McKenzie play corner?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need him too much on offense now! Wouldn’t want to lose that speed complement we’ve used to such devastating effect the last couple games… -
Semi-serious: could Josh just call all his own plays? 🤔 At this point I’d trust him as much as Kelly to do so…

I do appreciate fans of other teams who can come here and respectfully be a part of the "process" of what makes this site go 'round, OP included. One of my nieces just married a good guy from Missouri who's a huge Chefs fan, and we've enjoyed the back & forth good natured banter over the past year, which includes respectful days of texting silence after losses, lol. But at the end of the day, I really hope the Bills show no quarter in this one and roll on to the AFCCG in as convincing a fashion as this past week...I'll give my nephew in law at least a week before I'll text him after this one then.
-
Awesome find OP .

Bills 38, Chefs 34...late Poyer pick to seal the deal as the Chiefs can't force OT with just a FG...
-
Bump to highlight the fact that Kelly came out rocking Allen's jersey--could've worn his own jersey and no one would've begrudged him that or prolly thought 2x about it--instead, a class act by a class guy who's been happy to hand off the baton to someone who's well on his way to earning the title of best QB in Bills history! (Same for Thurm with Singletary's jersey, although it's less likely Thurm's perch at the top would ever be upset by any RB's in this pass-happiest O.)
