Omar, Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, or Trump

We're not even at the family Thanksgiving dinner table yet, so this sort of topic feels out of place? -
Suggest they become a "looper" and mosey on down the waterways flowing south towards the Gulf of Mexico to feel more "at home." https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/great-loop.html

In all fairness, the Roomba was going rogue and trying to join the Decepticons, so crisis averted!

I get your point, but what if JA never had great options to go with the TE bread/butter routes in 2018 because of who he was forced to play with at that position? I would be open to seeing how a better talent there would also allow Allen to make those different throws with a higher trust level/completion %, and thereby making Allen’s overall skillset more well rounded.

Feels like Pick 9 is no-mans land

So OP, is it fair to say that our current draft slot fills you with a sense of “foreboding?” ([backing away, bowing in respect] Very very sorry, but someone had to hit the low hanging fruit) -
Your All-Time Fav/Memorable Bills Plays

Absolutely! Tindale, the "Canadian Flash" had his breakout game of sorts that day--the run you're thinking of is his 44 yarder (as a FB no less) I think? It's at the 16:41 mark here: -

Anthony Phillips getting taken out by JK in 1995. Jim was never afraid of dishing out hits as well as he took 'em, and that is always one of the things I liked about him as a player. -

Side judge #94 was right there all the way too--maybe the glare from the astroturf momentarily made him see spots...and I couldn't be happier about it. -

Kyle's pass-catching abilities were underutilized his final season especially. Prolly could've earned more separation throwing his bulk around than KB ever managed <sigh> -
Your All-Time Fav/Memorable Bills Plays

Sometimes we get to have a break fall our way too--we've had plenty that haven't, so I'll call it even on that one, Houston! Exactly what I'm talking about--we all have plays that don't necessarily make the Bleacher Report top 10 of all time or whatever, but they stick out in our memories for some reason. Thanks for that one. -
It's the off-season, and relatively dead off-season right now at that, with the draft still a couple weeks away and FA basically done as far as the "splashes" go. So to help pass the time in a more productive manner than dropping a useless mock draft your way, I wanted to see what specific plays in our franchise history have resonated/stuck with you--either that you watched happen, or discovered in the archives...and can be either good or bad (hopefully everyone has at least one good one to offer up though?) Here's a few for the "good" column, in no particular order of importance: (1) Jim Kelly's QB sneak & end zone dive for the win, 1989 at the Fish with time expiring (2) Jim Kelly's TD to Lofton after recovering a fumbled shotgun snap, capping a perfect 6/6 opening drive against the Raiders, 1990 AFC Championship (3) Christie boots it through in OT to complete the greatest comeback of all time, 1993 (4) Don Beebe reversing almost the entire field to chase down & strip Leon Lett of the ball and save a TD in SB XXVII (5) "The Leap" heard 'round the world, Josh Allen 2018

Depth, depth, depth. Can’t be mad at that!

Josh Allen spending time with Jim Kelly
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve noticed he likes to usually point at whoever is in the photo op with him, which I interpret as his way of drawing attention away from himself and towards the other person; maybe that’s his way of not overshadowing the non-HOFers he’s usually in pics with? Just my idealized take on my childhood hero of course. As to the Buffalo head, it might be a perspective issue, like if the person taking the pic was standing a little more to the left of center, this might create an optical depth illusion? Not a photog expert by any means, but I doubt this beast wasn’t hung semi-professionally at least? -
So what you’re saying is that Ralphie’s little brother in A Christmas Story getting suited up against the elements to where he couldn’t move any extremities independently was based on your experiences?

Josh Allen spending time with Jim Kelly

He still managed to bust up a few NFL kneecaps (or ankles) along the way...he always played with the mentality of a LB, that's for sure. Love this kind of stuff, thanks for posting OP. Bridge between the old and new, where all are One Buffalo! -
Ice, sorry to hear you might get a bit more snow this week. Love what our GM has been up to this offseason so far. Did you catch the Bleacher Report article by Tyler Dunne? Wonder how the new arranged marriage between Rodgers and LaFleur will go this year. Any thoughts on that?

The Bills manage the feat of being good basically once per generation, to suck enough people in who then perpetuate their fandom despite the years of famine in the in between times...brilliant!! -
Of course!!! Breaking a table = know how to pick a biometric lock, Vulcan neck pinch the bored security guards on duty and get away with those wonderful polymers, ala Mission: Impossible music plays in the background...you’re very welcome McBeane, now go make it happen and protect our franchise’s right shoulder!!

Did we land a top 5 GM in Beane?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You lost me at Jerry. Old, zero accountability within the organization of yes men, and not innovative in his football thinking whatsoever. Sure he’s brought in some pieces and sort of hit on Dak, but hardly the stuff of legend, and he’s had many many years to get Dallas over the hump since taking the GM mantle for himself. More misses than hits at any rate. I’ll take Beane’s upside here any day, sorry. Also believe Loomis is GM in New Orleans, not Payton. Brees has covered up many warts in that organization, including cap purgatory for a number of years and terrible D’s (Rob Ryan anyone?) but let’s see what they do once Drew retires, just sayin’. Belichick is a no brainer. Browns is a wait and see grand experiment this year, who knows. Rams I could live with, definitely a good job there. So if pressed I’d say 2 off your list have proven they are not flukes. Veach is the GM in KC, a lot of the current roster there still predates him too.
