These super duper steroid-charged advanced analytics are all well and good, but what the hell is wrong with just watching a player over ENTIRE games (not just highlights/lowlights) and making your decision based on that? All this ***** about breaking down Allen's throws, the angle of his head, the microchip in his brain telling us what he was thinking about at the moment the ball was released, how long his finger nails were and whether that effected ball trajectory. All you really need to know is that when you watch every play from the season he obviously improved loads as the year went on, and he has all the intangibles that these metrics ironically cannot measure. I'm sure these analytics would have told us Tyrod was a better, more accurate QB than Allen. Watch the two of them play a significant number of games and you realize which one you'd rather have.

Bills sign TE Jake Fisher to 1-year deal
RobbRiddick replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Worst case scenario is he doesn't make it through camp. Best case is that he ends up being much more adept at this position. If he played TE earlier in his career then he must have some of the fundamentals down. As Rap says, a cool story to watch in camp. -
This WR corps still sucks

I love it when people disagree with the masses. It makes a person really unique and hip, like flat earthers -
2OG,2OT,C,TE,2WR,RB,KR. That’s an offensive FA!

with injuries the way they are you can never have enough linemen, I say add some more in the draft -
How the state of the Bills franchise has changed dramatically

I try not to get carried away with the optimism. I will say that I haven't been this pumped since Donahoe was GM and we had that offseason where we got Adams, Spikes etc. and had Bledsoe, then got Milloy just before the opener. In retrospect Donahoe was one of those GMs who was partly out to show how smart he was and to make a splash. I think that's why he got McGahee when we didn't really need him. It came across as a 'smart' move that would get the media buzzing, which it did. You could say that's what Beane was trying to do in going after AB but I don't see that as the same, and the guys he's got in FA I see as intelligent moves that are under the radar a bit, sort of like Poyer and Hyde were -

I'd pay good money to bang that host of GMFB, even after Amendola's been there -
Allen seems to want to lead this team

I loved the Vikings game but he sort of fell off a cliff after that up until the injury. The moment when I got REALLY excited about him was the jags game when he threw that long TD with a flick of the wrist, despite having three defenders on him. -
John Miller gets nice contract with Benglas

I wish regular life was like the NFL. Be pretty ***** at your job, get let go and then walk right into another really well paid position. Actually, I've worked with a few people who have done that -

To be fair I watched his highlights on YouTube recently and he had a hell of a deep ball, just everything else that sucked -

Same here. I remember him getting drafted like it was yesterday -
KR/WR Andre Roberts (Jets) to Bills
RobbRiddick replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All he has to do is make one key return that leads to a win and he'll have justified his signing -
Predict the next Bills UFA/Trade signing

I'm okay with them drafting a beast on D with 9, but I am getting greedy for offense and am starting to hope they get a stop gap on the line if available and take Hockenson or one of the receivers in round 1 -
Jesus, is that really him? Don't think I've ever seen him before. Did Al screw his own sister or cousin?

That was quite possibly my favorite play of the entire season -

I was thinking earlier today, it's been such a boring day. I want more signings! -
You are simply suffering from PTBFSD (Post Traumatic Bills Fandom Stress Disorder). Symptoms typically include: A refusal to believe anything good will ever happen A breakout of hives whenever the Patriots win a playoff game A deep and unsettling inferiority complex Depression in January (has also been known in many sufferers to start as early as September)
