  1. When do the Bills pick up Toney? You know it's gotta be.
  2. Did you see the KC game? Josh was rolling to his right and I said to myself "Josh is the deadliest QB rolling to his right. Worst that happens is a throw OB." Then he threw a horrible pick.
  3. KC fans are pussies. Can you imagine what the death toll would be for Bills Mafia over the years if we weren't tough?
  4. '68 was the year that the Bills started 4 different QBs: Darragh (7 starts), Eddie Rutkowski (3 starts), Tom Flores (1 start) and Kay Stephenson (3 starts). Two of them would become NFL head coaches, one would become Erie County Executive and one would become a partner in a large Buffalo law firm. Smart guys. But as QBs they weren't so hot. The Bills went 1-12-1. Darragh played a bit in '69 and '70 and finished with a starting QB record of 1-10. My kinda guy. I actually had a case with him once in the '80s when I was a lawyer in Rochester. Nice guy, and he never seemed to get impatient with #######s like me who wanted to talk football with a real pro.
  5. Some of the teams who beat us were so bad that it's not a surprise that they lost the next week, or the week after that or the following one. New England? Jets?
  6. Which AFC teams would be favored over the Bills by more than 2 at home in a playoff game?
  7. In the early years of SNL they used to do a segment called "What if...?" I remember one in particular: "What if Eleanor Roosevelt could fly?"
  8. Two of the three best passes ever thrown by tight ends came against the Bills. The third one was Trey Burton against the Pats.
  9. Too many pages to scroll through... Has anyone mentioned the Punt God yet in this thread?
  10. This might help you remember: If you came from work, it was Monday. If you came from church, it was Sunday.
  11. What I was thinking: "Here we go again. Josh hands Sean another win and Sean blows it again" He was that close to the unemployment line.
  12. This is problem #1 for the Bills!
  13. Rapp on Kelce. He'll get hugged all day by Taylor.
  14. It's actually gotten a lot better than it was early in the season, but still not as good as it used to be. One international NFL fan started a Reddit specifically on this topic:
  15. It probably means we'll see more 12 personnel. I have to say I liked that look a lot, but I hope they threw out the page from Dorsey's playbook that says "throw to Kincaid a yard short of the sticks."
  16. Elam's best games were when he was not activated.
  17. With the rash of QB injuries, I don't remember a year with so many backups starting. Sadly, I don't get the sense that our backup QB could hold a candle to: Jameis Tyrod Beathard Trubisky Levis Dobbs PJ Walker Browning Would you take K. Allen over any of them?
  18. Not sure, because you blotted it out, but I think he said "fighting back"
  19. To answer my own comment: The Jaguars are currently the AFC’s No. 3 seed, but this matchup is more about keeping the Bengals from catching up to the Bills in the AFC standings. It seems unlikely for Cincinnati to make a late season run without Joe Burrow, but a collapse by the Jaguars is even more unlikely. In this matchup, Bills fans should be rooting for Jacksonville to send the Bengals to 5-7 on Monday. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2023/12/buffalo-bills-remain-in-the-playoff-hunt-who-should-fans-be-rooting-for-in-week-13.html
  20. Right. Maybe someday soon Sean will break his silence on 13 seconds. THAT would be a headline.
  21. I think the problem with Elam is that his playbook is still on the plane.
