But but but... there’s no way he can duplicate last year’s performance! -

I think the Bills look great all things considered. Defense looks solid. Offense looks competent albeit some stupid mistakes. I like the play calling. Running plays will come. Josh looks like he’s taken a step which is all I really care about. I had no delusions about how good the Bills would be. So far, I’m happy with what I see. -

I hope so. Bills have driven the field at will passing so far. If it works, stay with it. -

The pass was off-target. It’s ok to admit that, guys. It can be low and also a catch Beasley should have. -

Look at all those soon to be disappointed Jets fans. -
Does AB set a dangerous precedent?
eanyills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And there’s tons more. Randy Moss quit on the team and became a distraction. Carson Palmer refused to play for a team built to win now, thus tanking their window. Antonio Brown isn’t the first to manipulate the system. He just used a new means to do so. There will be more but I don’t think it’ll ever become common. AB looked really bad in all this and I think most players are generally cognizant of their public image not looking like a train wreck. -
Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS

I don’t have a problem with this. It’s a new form of an old tactic. Guys who have wanted out have requested to be released, become malcontents in the locker room, quit on the team, etc. If social media was a thing (or as big a thing) as it is now, past players would have also leveraged it to get what they want. Brown is simply the first to use social media to work the system. The floodgates aren’t going to open all of a sudden. More guys will try it but historically, the number of guys who go public in an attempt to change teams is relatively low. -
I went with Miami to win this week. I think they’re going to be surprisingly mediocre instead of the tire fire people think and I don’t buy the Ravens at all. Easy week one pick.

There’s a huge difference between Bill Belichick and Mike Tomlin. Hell, there’s a huge difference between Josh McDaniels and Todd Haley. Those Steelers teams were underachievers and a lot of that is on coaching IMO. They had great teams. -

It’s almost like there’s different severities of racist actions. A racist comment is a racist comment, regardless of the contextual framing you’re trying to bend. -

This is a garbage take. Anybody can be a target of racism regardless of race. I’ve had a gun put in my face and threatened to be shot for being white while being called a “cracker” simply for being some place that “privileged” whites weren’t supposed to be. That’s racism. You don’t know anything about the world or racism. -
There was a lot more drama in Pittsburgh than just “beef with Big Ben.” It was a gradually escalating series of events that led to Brown leaving Pittsburgh. Those types of events have continued to escalate in Oakland. Brown was never like this until a couple years ago. His continued escalation of irrational behavior suggests some sort of mental breakdown or social-emotional disorder. Of course, a guy with that type of ego would never consider the possibility until it’s way too late, like when his NFL career is over in his prime later this week.

What an unfunny parody.

Anyone know how much players on the practice squad make?
eanyills replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is correct that all PS salaries count against the salary cap. This can be verified through Sportrac. -
More than the limited time, he never got a single look versus starters. There must be some internal conversation/disagreement about him given that he’s still on the roster but I don’t see him making it to the 53.

Hmm. Is the improbable going to happen?

Duke isn’t killing anyone with that speed. He’ll get a look somewhere but he isn’t all of a sudden going to become a stud.

Personally, I’m excited about the cut of McCoy. I’m ready to see a Bills team led by homegrown drafted and developed players like Allen and Singletary.

Step away from your phone, go enjoy life. Unless you are LeSean McCoy himself, you’re taking this way too personal. Cutting a 31 year old running back with a trend of declining production and injuries while having drafted a young replacement hardly makes the front office look like “clowns.”
